149 Continuing with the Decoration Quest

On their way there, they brought the higher-ups of each guild to the mayor. The quest for these higher-ups was more challenging than the normal guildmate. The party had to go around to different locations and find them the items.

It took a lot of researching and traveling before they completed all the quests. If it wasn't for them having a guild, this method wouldn't have been viable. They would have to go the long way and get the gold coins to re-bribe them into the city.

These blacksmiths had grins on their face for the time being since they gained what they wanted, so they will listen to the mayor.

The party stood outside the mayor's door and waited. Inside the room, a discussion was taking place.

"You wish to join back with the city?" The mayor said a complicated gaze. He didn't want to decline them because of his anger since that would be stupid. He had to take care of the city before he could take care of himself. The mayor had a few decent qualities. Able to forgive errors and mistakes.

'Yes!" The Alchemist Guild spoke with excitement and a raised voice to show their enthusiasm to join back to the city.

The Blacksmith Guild; not as much enthusiasm. They will take the next opportunity they get for a bribe. These people only cared about the money. The mayor couldn't wake up one morning to see that half of the guilds left to go somewhere else; he needed to set a stipulation or other measures to keep them in place without moving away.

These guilds went back into proper functional order in their old guild spots. The mayor announced a message about Emile and the party who accomplished the nearly impossible task of getting the guilds back. It took a lot of intelligence, and strength to complete the quest.

They got a lot of recognition from the people. Emile's fame stat increased to 25,000. He was a quarter of the way to 100,000. The other party members received their fair share of fame.

The party received their rewards for the quest after the announcement.

"I'm giving you a land deed. You can choose whatever land deed you want inside of a city. The city has to be in the Sun Point region. We cities agreed to hold some of the lands from the other cities meaning I have some land from White Star City or another city. You can pick whichever land deed you want," the mayor said as he showed a screen with pictures of each land deed. These land deeds were from any city inside the Sun Point region.

He didn't have the land deeds for cities outside of the Sun Point region.

The party chose a location inside White Star city since that was their home city. There were only three land deeds for White Star City. Two of them were for a home in the neighborhood district while one was near the market.

The markets had two main ways of selling things. One through the tablet which had the entire shop menu, or the other which was face to face in the world.

There might be more minor ways of selling the item, but these were the fastest.

The party now had their own piece of land inside the city. They needed to create a use for the piece of land.

The mayor moved onto the next item as the party thought about the use of the land. The mayor gave them a Red Silver piece of equipment. He gritted his teeth when he gave them the item.

Emile identified the item.

It was a cape which was a new type of item that Emile hadn't seen before. He didn't have one, so he wanted to roll for it.

Flower Queen and Scarlet Sunset didn't want it because of the color and the origin of the item. They didn't want people to compare them with the color of blood.

.

Nimble Rod, FBS Fulcron, and Emile wanted the item. Severn as always didn't care about the item, so he ignored it.

They rolled for the item.

FBS Fulcron rolled a 24. Nimble Rod threw a 42 down. Emile got a 52.

Emile won the cape. He equipped the item after he picked it up. He now had a red cape on his back.

"Now you can leave. Thank you for all of your help and support. I don't know what else to say," the mayor said.

"All right, thank you for your trust in us," Flower Queen said with a giggle. She walked out of the room and the other party members followed.

"What should we do now?" Nimble Rod said.

"We still have the decorations quest. The expiry date is coming up soon. We need to find the last item before we complete that quest," Flower Queen said.

"We need to find a triple elemental orb, which might take some time to find," Emile said.

"I did a bit of research. I have some data about the triple elemental orb," Scarlet Sunset paused to get the party's attention. She knew this would pique their interest.

"I heard rumors that the mayor of Kitare City likes to collect orbs for his personal collection. He might have the triple elemental orb," Scarlet Sunset said with confidence.

"Oh, then let's go meet the man," Emile said with a shrug. They didn't have anything else to do, so they went ahead and moved on.

"Yep," the party agreed to go meet the mayor. They wanted to see what they could do to get the triple elemental orb.

The party used the teleporter to arrive in Kitare city.

"What the-" Emile said as he looked around.

Everything was metallic, the trees, leaves, animals, life, etc. It was weird to look at.

The party walked towards the mayor office, taking pictures of the surroundings for the memories.

They arrived at the tower which was also made of metal. The amount of money they needed to make this city was enormous. The party didn't know that the metal wasn't truly metal, it was just a different coloring to give the city a unique feel to it.

The walked into the mayor's tower.
