139 Asking for Locations

"Oh, what quest did you get," Scarlet Sunset messaged in the party chat. She was at White Star City gathering supplies.

"Hey Scarlet, you're here now," Emile said with some surprise.

She replied quickly.

"Yeah, I was busy with a few things. Where are you guys?"

"We are in Lyria City. You can teleport here and we'll fill you in on the details," Emile replied. Flower Queen waited for the conversation to reach an end before posting the quest in the party chat.

"We have to talk to the guild and bring them back," FBS Fulcron said after reading the quest.

"Shouldn't be too hard I think," Emile said. In his mind, he was having second thoughts about his comment after seeing the SS ranking. There had to be something wrong with the guilds to make it this challenging.

"Let's ask around and find out where the guilds left to," Emile said. This was the first step to bringing them back. Finding out where they went.

"Uhm... sirs do you know where the guilds left to," Emile asked a group of individuals who were cursing out the mayor from outside the tower.

"Those guilds better come back soon or I'll be pissed," the man replied. He didn't have an answer to the question but instead gave his opinion.

They asked a few more people hoping to get an answer. Not one person knew where the guilds went.

"We should go to where the guild used to be," Emile said. These people took their complaints to the mayor, instead of the guild who left.

"I guess. The libraries won't be helpful for this quest," Scarlet Sunset said. She didn't have to go to the library and research something which gave made her feel joy.

The party walked to the place where the Blacksmith guild used to thrive. They asked for directions from a random stranger to arrive in front of the place.

There was no one inside the building other than one person who was cleaning the insides.

"Sorry for the inconvenience, the blacksmith guild left the city, so they can't repair your armor. Would you like a drink for coming all the way here," a teenager who looked 16 spoke politely. He had a strong but lean muscle and blisters on his hand. Scarlet Sunset concluded that he practiced blacksmithing.

"We don't need a drink. I want to ask you a question if that's allowed?" Scarlet Sunset replied to the man. She spoke politely to show her respect for the boy. Emile was going to speak but was cut off by her.

"Go ahead," the boy replied as he scrubbed the walls.

"Do you know where the Blacksmith Guild went and why they left?" Scarlet Sunset continued the conversation while the other's listened with their ears perked up.

The boy ignored her question and continued scrubbing.

"We aren't here to judge them or anything like that," Scarlet Sunset spoke gently to influence the boy.

The boy finished scrubbing one wall and moved onto another.

He repeated his chant as he cleaned the walls.

"Scrub up, down, left, right, and all around..."

"We want to bring the Blacksmith Guild back to the city. The mayor instructed us to bring them back. So please allow us to help this city," Scarlet Sunset said with emotion. She had a decent control over her emotions which allowed her to sound like she was begging.

"The mayor instructed another group to ask for the location of the blacksmith guild, and they barged in here. They asked rudely and even broke a few things in a display of anger. I don't care if you're sent by the mayor or not. He had his head up his ass for all I care," the boy said in an uninterested voice. He pointed to a corner which had a broken table and a chair.

The others wanted to say something but Scarlet Sunset put a finger to her mouth. She wanted them to be silent.

She walked up to the boy and gave him a hug from the back.

"Won't you tell this big sister of yours about the blacksmith guild," Scarlet Sunset whispered in a gentle voice. Her boobs rubbed against his back.

The other party members had their eyes wide open since they hadn't seen Scarlet Sunset become so bold. She seemed to have a completely different aura.

"Uh... uh... please let go of me."

"Only if you tell me where they are," Scarlet Sunset whispered once more.

"All right, all right. I'll tell you," the boy said with a face that had a light shade of pink on it.

Scarlet Sunset released him from the hug.

"Exit the city through the north gate and head towards Winter Tree Forest. Look for a location that has five trees shaped like a pentagon. They're close to the entrance; it shouldn't be too hard to find. One tree that forms the pentagon shape has a weird engraving on it. That tree has one branch. Follow where the branch points until you find a small clearing with a mini pond. The pond is only around four meters big. Look around the pond for a hatch that leads underground. That's where the blacksmiths moved to," the boy revealed everything. His little John stood straight from the moments before.

"Now, leave," the boy said as they digested the information into their mind. He wanted time alone without others.

The party walked out of the guild.

"How did that work?" Emile asked Scarlet Sunset.

"Basic psychology. He's 16 meaning his hormones should be at an all-time high. When his hormones activate, adrenaline should kick in. Adrenaline is one thing that leads to impulsive decisions. I used a hug to start this process and get him to reveal the information," Scarlet Sunset said with a shrug.

Emile gave her a strange gaze.

"No don't think like that. I will not give my body away for information, never in a million years," Scarlet Sunset said as she shook her head to deny what he was thinking.

"I won't judge if you do," Emile said with a shrug.

"But I won't... I swear," Scarlet Sunset didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"All right, at least we got the information," Flower Queen said. She tried changing the conversation to allow Scarlet Sunset to feel comfortable again.

"Let's find out what happened to the other guild before we move on," Emile said. He took control once again.

The party asked another stranger for the directions to the guild. They followed the directions and arrived at the building that previously to house the Alchemist Guild.

Inside the building was a single person.

It was a lady this time. She sat there with her head drooped low.

"Emile you're good with the ladies, you got this," Scarlet Sunset said as she winked towards Flower Queen.

Emile saw this exchange and scratched his head.

"Hey, why are you so sad," Emile sat next to her asked.

The girl looked up, then looked back down. She mumbled out a few words.

"It's none of your business."

"Well, I want to bring back the Alchemist guild back, so it is my business," Emile said. He noticed that she was inside the old guild location, so she had a connection to the guild. Emile used the "I'll bring back the guild!" reason to convince her to not mope around.

"You do?" The lady looked up with sparkles in her eyes.

"Of course, I'm always happy to help the people and the city," Emile said with a laugh.

"What can I do to help," the lady asked.

"Well, you can tell me where the guild went," Emile said.

"They're in Winter Tree Forest. Exit the city through the north gate. Use a compass and walk towards 227 degrees. You'll soon reach the forest and then you'll reach a place that doesn't have snow. Look around the dirt and you'll find a hatch that leads underground." the lady said.

"Please bring them back quickly. I fear for their safety. Everyone in the guild unanimously decided to move out of the city which is abnormal. I wasn't there when they voted," the lady said.

She cared about the guild.

"Don't worry, I'll try my best to bring them back," Emile said.
