105 Acting Abilities

"How lucky that we found this quest, recently there haven't been many good quests," an adventurer walked and talked with his group. He was with nine other people who were challenging a hard quest.

"Yeah, this gives good rewards from the guild and a strong boss that will drop good rewards," another adventurer replied.

"This should be the forest," an adventure with a tome spoke out. This adventurer was a mage.

"They said the worm is somewhere inside the forest."

"Yep."

They stepped into the forest and looked around. A leopard could be seen fifty meters away. They ignored the leopard and walked deeper into the forest.

"HELP," a loud scream came from deep inside the woods.

"Did you hear that?" An adventurer looked around with confusion.

"Yeah... it sounded like a cry for help."

"HELP," another loud scream could be heard in the distance. This time it was clearer and louder.

"Someone's in danger," the adventurers came to the conclusion after hearing the second scream.

These adventurers ran since someone's life depended on it. They arrived into the deep woods where they say a disjointed man running towards them.

"Help me please," the man shouted with tears in his eyes.

"What happened?" an adventurer quickly asked.

"The worm... is attacking me and *sniffle* my friends. My friends *sniffle* are trying to run from the *sniffle* worm," the man replied with incoherency.

"All right. Follow us, we'll protect you," an adventurer said to the man.

"Thank you so much. I don't know how to thank you," the man said with happiness. The change in emotion was drastic, but the adventurers didn't notice. They ran towards the direction where the man pointed. The man was FBS Fulcron who pointed towards the direction of the worm.

"Go on without me, if this worm is going to kill one of us, then let it be me," a man said. This man was Emile.

"No, I can't leave you behind," another man said. This was Nimble Rod.

"None of you will die when I'm here," an adventurer ran out to gain the limelight.

The worm appeared from the ground and attacked the man. The other adventurers joined the fight.

The fight against the boss began.

"That was easier than I thought," Emile messaged the group since he didn't want the adventurers to hear him. Severn was standing on the side with a ripped shirt.

The adventurers assumed that the worm was a dangerous threat from their reactions.

The adventurers continued to attack the boss until they killed the boss. Emile witnessed their fighting prowess. Everyone in the adventurer's group had a role.

The healer would heal the main tank who defended the attacks with his shield. The mages and warriors were damage dealers. There were two healers, three warriors, three mages, and two tanks in the group.

The adventurers picked up the loot and split it amongst themselves.

"You guys are safe now," one adventurer said to cheer them up.

"I don't know how to thank you. We need more brave people like you," FBS Fulcron said with admiration. Deep inside, he felt like puking.

"We are here to help whenever there are any problems," one adventurer said with a laugh. He was feeling proud of himself.

"We should go back to the city," one of the adventurers replied with annoyance. Spending time with casual people was a waste of their time. This was the pride that some adventurers held. The others agreed with his words and left for the city.

The adventurers left after gaining many compliments from FBS Fulcron.

"Good job guys," Emile said, "that was a successful mission."

"That was a unique experience," FBS Fulcron said as he scratched his head.

"I'm glad they can't check our information or they could have recognized that we are much stronger than we look," Nimble Rod said.

"Well, those adventurers are only NPC's so they can't see the players ranking or determine our strength by identifying us," Emile said.

"You never know what abilities those NPC's could have," Nimble Rod said with a shrug.

"That's true. Let's leave and get our rewards," Emile said. That was enough action for one day.

They used a space gem to teleport to White Star City. They walked to the Adventure Guild to gain their quests. Before they entered the guild they wore masks so that the adventurers don't recognize them.

"Emile?" Stella laughed as she looked at Emile who was wearing a mask.

"I don't want people to recognize us," Emile said as he looked around.

"I'm here for my rewards," Emile said.

"You shared the mission?" Stella asked as she stared at the three people who wore a mask.

"Yeah, but they won't reveal anything," Emile said. He didn't want her to assume that he would tell untrustworthy people.

"Hmm..." Stella said as she crossed her arms and squinted at the people behind Emile.

"Heyo," FBS Fulcron replied to her gaze by waving his hand. (1)

"Please trust my words," Emile said. Emile knew he revealed confidential information, but he trusted his party members to not reveal anything.

Stella sighed, "All right, I'll trust you. I hope they reveal nothing about what they have done and witnessed."

"Thanks a ton," Emile said. Emile realized why the quest was shareable. She wouldn't have gotten mad, so the game made the quest shareable among friends.

If Stella didn't trust Emile, then the quest would have been solo or she wouldn't have even asked him to try the quest.

She gave them rewards for their hard work. Emile grew to level 11 due to the experience. He was the first to reach level 11 since he killed a King Ranked monster which gave an abundance of experience.

Emile had new options after this level up. His strength, agility, and vitality increase by three. His spirit and intelligence increased by five. He had 15 free attribute points which he could use to upgrade his stats.

Emile had 20 free attribute points before the level up, but after the level, he had 35 free attribute points. He could get three special points for the auction or save them for an emergency.

"All right. Thanks for your help. That quest should appease the adventurers for a week or two," Stella said.

Emile and his group walked out. On their way out they saw the adventurers who killed the worm. The adventurers couldn't recognize them since they were wearing masks. They gave strange looks at them.

They walked past each other without a problem.

"That was easy," Emile said after they reached a safe distance away from them.

"Yeah," FBS Fulcron said with a laugh.

"All right, that's enough of our adventures, you guys can do whatever you want," Emile said. Emile handed Severn some silver coins for his hard work.

After splitting up from the group, Emile activated the skill book and learned {Berserk}. His chest plate's skill became obsolete.

Emile needed to complete his sword quest to gain a better sword. He walked to the place which held the most information. The library.

The librarian was getting familiar with Emile since he would come to visit every few hours.

"What do you need this time," The librarian asked with curiosity.

"I need to know where the Priest Guild is," Emile asked.

"Oh... If you walk to the left of the library and take another turn to the left when you see the Blacksmith Guild, you'll find the Priest guild," The librarian said.

"Oh... thanks for your help," Emile said. He walked out of the library and followed the instructions.
