Pov Vex: 

For the next 2 months i was following the same routine, wake up early, practice my ink element, go get breakfast, train for most of the day, manipulate the ninja, then go back to sleep. 'Nothing really interesting happened during that time, exept me getting down how to do , which by the way its just stupid and almost useless, exept for some specific situations. Imagine a , but it was human, the only cool thing about it is that you can put some of your own elemental power into it and use it as a defense'.

'I find it appalling that  was the only way they figured out how to use elemental power in their attacks, give me a few years and I'll be able to think of at least 1 way to exert elemental power, of course other than just putting all your power in to the ground and watching the environment change, they did find another way of exerting elemental power, the golden weapons are able to bring your power to the surface and help you control it, for some people its the only way to control their powers, its like Thors hammer from Marvel, he isn't able to use his lightning powers without it, but it is possible'.

'Speaking of elemental power, mine has come a long way, I'm now able to convert the upper half of my body into ink, converting my entire body like that is only really useful when i'm able to predict a hit coming at me, it takes too long to become fully converted, so i won't be able to use it reactionary, only preemptively. A really useful ability I was able to do was make my nails really dense with ink to form claws, so I won't need any weapon to do cutting damage, it's also a good sneak attack, nobody suspect that yours nails can actually turn into deadly weapons'.

'I haven't been able to figure out if I can do a range attack, I've tried a couple of different things like fire ring my ink like a projectile but as soon as it leaves  my body it loses all density and eventually just comes back to my body anyway'. So the powers of my Ink are as follows:

1. Ink regeneration: Any ink blasted off my body will find its way back on its own, this isn't as powerful as it seems, if any of my ink is destroyed so will my body when it reverts, so i'm not indestructible in full ink mode -Passive ability

2. Ink density: I'm able to harden specific areas of my ink body by increasing the density of ink in that area, the denser the ink the harder it is to keep under control - Active Ability

3. Ink Convert: Im able to turn any part of my body into ink, the more complex the body part the harder it is to turn, such as the brain. The more body I convert to ink the harder it is to keep under control. -Active Ability

4. Ink Transform: Im able to turn any of my ink body into any other shape, this requires my imagination as the more complex the object the harder it is to imagine - Active Ability

5. Ink Revert: After I've run out of energy my body will automatically turn back to normal, this is based on stamina. I'm also able to do it on my own free will. - Active/Passive Ability

All that was above is what I wrote in my journal. It's what I use to keep track of my current powers and abilities. It also has my combat ability. 'I'm never telling anyone about this, it's like a resume for my combat power and how to counter it, I'm keeping this nice and safe in my concealed pocket'

'Master Wu has been gone for a week, it seems that he is going to get the fire master Kai from his blacksmith, he's then going to have to train as a ninja to save his sister Nia from the Evil Lord Garmadon, and look at that it seems that Wu is back' I look over to see Wu with a 18 year old boy with fiery red hair, an intense look in his fiery red eyes, and a constant frown on his face, he looked at everything around him with suspicion.

(Kai)

Kai - "As if this stinky little dojo is going to help me save my sister, why don't I just take my armor and sword and swarm in his place" He says with irritation resounding in his voice.

Master Wu -"So your plan is to go into a fort that you don't even know where is, outmanned and outgunned, with no combat experience whatsoever, just armed with a measly sword and armor... Do you have a death wish?" He said while stroking his beard, Kai looked flabbergasted.

Kai -"Ya so?" He said with an even bigger frown

Master Wu "I'll leave you alone to do anything you want, if you are able to beat Vex here in a 1 v 1... here you can even have this wooden sword" He said as he handed Kai the sword, he looked over to me and mouthed something like 'Annihilate him off the face of this planet' ok maybe he didn't do that but it would be funny if he did.

Master Wu - "The rules are simple don't hurt your opponent too hard and the first to get a hit wins, Now Start!" As soon as I heard the word start I made my nails into ink and made a dull and soft version of the more lethal nails, Kai was already running at me and had already started swinging his sword down. This was child's play to dodge and soon after I rushed my new dull nails into his stomach. "Gah '' The air in his lungs was expelled as he fell to the ground.

Master Wu - "The winner is Vex" Wu said in a blunt tone, it was as if he had expected this outcome l.

Kai - "I want a rematch that shot barley -"*Scccccrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaappppppp* the sound of my nails dragging across the ground interrupted him.

Vex - "You see these nails? They are currently hard as steel, sharp as a knife, the ones I used on you before I made dull and rubbery, they wouldn't be able to hurt a fly, if I used the sharp nails in that attack....** i act like i'm winning even though i don't care what happens to him. "I'm sure you could imagine what would happen". I look over to see his face had slightly contorted into one of fear. 

Vex - "But don't worry i'm not an enemy, i would never hurt you, i'm not sure about garmadon though, he might just outright kill you, so it's good for you to figure out now rather than later to not overestimate yourself" i say with a kind smile.

Master Wu - "Vex is right, overestimating themselves is not what a ninja does, and you are here to train in order to become a ninja, not a brute, you do want to save your sister right?" Kai Bows down to Master Wu and says 

Kai - "Yes Sensei" he still had that frown on his face even when he did this 

Master Wu - "Good, now i will show you to your room" Wu Leads Kai to his room as he meets the other 3 Ninja in training, a little while later when everyone has gone to sleep i go to meet Master Wu, who was meditating. I knock on the side of the door and Wu says

Master Wu - "I told you to not interrupt me when i'm meditating" he says while still in his lotus position

Vex - "I think my training is done and would like to go and try to find my family
