11 The second wish on the list

It was afternoon when she got home; the sun was not too hot, it's only her third day in the Cove, so she wanted to enjoy the beach. When no one's at the beach, she changed into her swimsuit and ran into the water. She documented herself through her phone to let her family know that she enjoyed the rest of her life and that she didn't have any regrets.

"Mom, Dad, and Ty, I'm sorry I didn't tell you about cancer and took away the time that you could have spent with me when I'm still breathing. But I want you all to remember me looking happy and healthy, just like now." Then she ran to the beach and did a cannonball.

She made sure her phone's camera captured it.

"Woaaaah!!!" she screamed and landed in the water with a tremendous splash. And then she laughed hard by herself. She took her time swimming on the beach until the sun was out. Alex was back to bring her dinner.

"Good evening Isabel, I brought your dinner." Alex gave her a usual polite smile. Isabel would want to look for Ed, but she didn't want to just snap out of everyone like a "Karen". Alex was the assigned attendant. Not that she's bad at her job.

"Thank you, Alex." She thanked her and wondered herself cook her meals, but she didn't want to lose the opportunity to get served by a top chef in Borres.

Isabel ate her dinner at the small beach table and bench with an excessive umbrella outside her yard's fence and still planned to play in the water.

"Uhm Isabel, regarding your second wish, do you want company or would you like to do it alone?" She meant getting wasted by alcohol. If possible, she would like a male companion so she could go ahead with her third wish, which was getting laid. But she was getting attacked by her shyness.

"U-uhm, will it be tonight?" She uttered, asking. She didn't want to make it obvious that she's too eager.

"Yes, we can have it tonight, we can drive you to the grove, or we can just send you more drinks besides the collections you already got." Alex sounded business like once again.

"I'd like to go to the grove." There are few people and she might have enjoyed talking to them.

"Then we shall arrange it." Then Alex went away.

She flew inside and choose simple jeans and a shirt. She can't wear a club outfit. Even if she'll get drunk, she should look respectable. She knew it made little sense at all, but that's the way she liked it.

A few more minutes and the cart drove by George was waiting for just a few meters away from her vegetable patches.

She was hella nervous in her panicked she grabbed her backpack; she guessed her backpack was her safety blanket when she felt threatened by something unknown. It's like her link to a home she abandoned.

"Okay, I'm ready." But she looked like she wrestled with a grizzly bear. Her hair was uncombed, and she was catching her breath. George stared away because she looked hilarious.

"Be my guest." He said, letting her into the cart.

They decorated the grove with something like an acoustic bar. There was a band with a vocalist, playing mellow pop music. The music she listens.

"There are several baristas that were hired tonight. Which cocktail would you like to try first?"

George held her elbows to support her. Just like an actual date. Although Isabel preferred Ed, George handled women better. She canceled the idea of having her third wish tonight, because she won't do it with George, nor he would be interested to do it with her.

"Honestly I never drink, so if you can recommend any drink that you would think tastes best." She gave him her most charming smile, like what she did with Ed the last night. George did not blush like Ed.

"Absolutely." He answered back, then went to get her drink. Isabel gripped the straps of her backpack because her insides were churning. She got drunk easily with the margarita last night.

She couldn't possibly get drunk in her dreams, could she? Hash's wine has a distinct flavor that she could still remember the taste. It had a strong flavor, but the aftertaste was sweet. She wanted to taste that again and to smell his fragrance, that strong pleasant aroma. And that mind-losing kiss.

If she got drunk tonight. Perhaps she could dream of him again. Isabel was in a total trance when George went back with drinks. He was holding two tall cocktail glasses with colorful drinks in them.

"Hey! Isabel, are you okay?" George had been calling her, but she was so focused on imagining about Hash.

"Oh hey, sorry I just remembered something, but it's not important, what's this called?" but before George can even say tequila sunrise, she chugged it down her throat. Nah, it doesn't have the same effect.

"This tastes good." She can barely taste any alcohol on it.

"let's stay closer to the bar." She pulled George's hand. Inhibition has gone when the alcohol touches her lips.

"What other mixes you got?" she asked like a pro. In fact, she learned some cocktails from her digital library the last time.

" I got some cosmopolitan, pina colada, vodka watermelon.." There was a variety of stuff the barista has mentioned but she loses interest. She just wanted to taste everything.

"What do you recommend?" She grinned.

"Try piña colada." The guy on the bar automatically answered. She nodded and waited and shifted her attention to the band that played acoustics.

They're playing Versace on the floor. She doesn't have a Versace dress, but if Hash was real, her dress could have been on the floor.

She smiled naughtily at the thought that his pectoral muscles can talk. She felt warm upon remembering his huge physique. Her body's circumference could fit in both of his hands. Her face got red when she remembered his hands on her waist. It felt so real, like she could still feel the warmth it caused on her back.
