28 The Royals

When Kaga reached home she didn't know what to expect...after all, Aunty Rei or Mother, messaged her mom even before she got home.

She only went home after having a feast with the Todoroki family, Mother Rei was so excited that she whipped up a big feast, and when everyone questioned her. She excitedly said that Shoto and Kaga are now dating which got a weird response from everyone.

They were mainly exclamations of "Finally! We thought you two would never become a couple!", Kaga was surprised, 'Were they always thinking that!?', she thought with a beet-red face.

She was also given another title within the Todoroki family, they now decided to call her Little Sis for the siblings and Daughter is what Enji and Rei call her now.

Getting out of her thoughts, she opened the doors to her home slowly, not wanting to announce her presence like before.

Sadly for her, the whole family was waiting in the living room which she needed to pass through to go to the halls that connected to the stairs up to her room.

Upon even showing a bit of her face in the living room, she was blasted with the sight of her family looking at her, especially her Father and Mother. All she could do was greet, "Tadaima? Haha?"

The twins at least eased the nervousness within her heart since they came running with their little legs, ""Onee-chan! Okaeri!"", Little Katsumi and Taigen greeted their big sister and immediately went for her tails, to which Kaga allowed them to play and hug it.

Of course, Eri and her favorite pet Kairo the white-winged tiger came to greet too, "Okaeri, Onee-Chan!" "growl~", Eri said as she went towards her Onee-chan with wide arms expecting a hug.

Embracing Eri back and carried the twins too with her tails, she made her way to one of the sofas and sat comfortably under the gaze of her parents.

The first to speak was her mom, "Kaga, darling, care to share the great news? Your dad here does not know about the fantastic news yet!", clearly from her mom's tone, it seems she was very supportive of the idea.

"Ahem~!"

Kaga began clearing the imaginary blockage within her throat, "To keep it short, me and Shoto are now dating!", Kaga said hurriedly which came out as a bit of a shout.

"AHHHH~ My daughter is all grown up now, but remember, no grandkids yet okay? Though I'm fine with it~", Ayane teased and joked with her daughter and pulled her up for a hug.

The latter couldn't help but blush and be embarrassed from the suggestive jokes her mom made, she then glanced over her dad who seemed to be plopped on the sofa...staring off into space.

"Mom, I think Dad short-circuited...", she gestured towards her mom, but Ayane simply brushed it off as an overdramatic dad.

"Come, follow me, explain to me what happened!", Ayane began dragging her daughter towards another room. leaving the children to play with their Big Sister Eri and the playful tiger Kairo.

Upon reaching another room, Kaga first decided to play dumb, "B-But nothing happened!", she tried defending but ultimately failed since the event surfaced again in her mind making her blush.

The curse of having fair skin!

"Shoto's Mom has already told me that she caught you two in the act!", Ayane accused and acted like she deserved an explanation.

"Okay, okay, basically I was training Touya-nii and Uncle Enji, and after being tired I wanted to rest on the floor.

But instead, Shoto caught me surprised from behind, I then ordered him to carry me to the living room.

When we reached the living room, he was about to place me down but I insisted he stay as is cause I was already in a comfortable spot.

So I ended up sleeping on his lap while leaning on his chest.

Fast forward to when I woke up, we talked a bit...and one thing led to another...then boom! We ended up kissing"

Kaga explained while already covering her face with her hands in shame, it was just too weird to explain it to your parent.

Ayane however was just grinning from ear to ear, she was only teasing her daughter to explain it and wholeheartedly expected her to just run away to her room, and she was fine if that is how the scenario played.

She was definitely surprised when her daughter started to explain but still felt warm about the fact that her daughter felt comfortable with sharing these sorts of things, it just meant their relationship as mother and daughter is healthy!

'Ahhh~ It's always the 'one thing led to another' scenario, I think that's how I and Ryu started dating...we were sparring one moment and the next moment...we started kissing too! Mother like daughter!', Ayane began to reminisce of her younger days with Ryu.

The two then just bonded through the night until Kaga fell asleep on her mom's lap,

"Sigh...you grow up too fast...you went through your emo 'phase' pretty quick too, but you'll always be our little girl even though you're already this big!"

Ayana said as she stroked the hair of Kaga who was asleep, "...Shoto...if you break the heart of our little girl...you would wish you were never born~"

A few months have passed once again, during this time the couple has already told Himiko about their relationship, her response was a memorable one.

Himiko simply stopped her countdown of how long until the two become a couple, apparently Himiko calculated the days of how long it took.

Since Himiko met them when she was six years old, which is basically eight years of knowing them, and when Himiko did the math it was around 2,920 days.

But surprisingly after that day, a few weeks only passed and Himiko said that she found the 'one' for her, when Kaga further question her best friend on who the boy is. Himiko excitedly showed an imaged of a broccoli boy training heavily in a park.

The moment Kaga saw this she spat out whatever drink she was drinking, which Himiko didn't bother. Kaga was shocked since the picture Himiko showed was basically a healthy-looking Izuku who had ripped muscles to show.

Apparently, Himiko can smell emotion is what she explained to Kaga...or at least she thinks so, but Kaga believes her nonetheless. Well, the reason why Himiko got so interested in Izuku is that he exudes a smell that attracts her somehow.

So ever since then, she has been constantly pestering the poor guy who just wants to train, though slowly but surely he got used to her presence is what Himiko described their conversations with one another.

She even got to meet Bakugo, a new fact that Kaga learned is that the Bakugo of this MHA can also use his quirk on his feet, basically a short-fused ironman that shouts everywhere.

Though this fact is alarming for Kaga, since in her mind if the quality of Heroes are somewhat better then it should also translate for the villains having better quirks too, at least she is comforted by the fact that she has saved a handful of people.

People like Jin Bubaigawara, Manami Aiba, Himiko Toga, and Eri, though she doesn't treat them as 'characters', she treats them like family. She finds it funny when she kept reading fanfics about how MCs only realize that the people they are talking to are real people...like what?

If you view them as characters moments ago, then what are you? Well...technically they are one!

Anyway, back to Himiko's love life, apparently the two started going out more, and Izuku was astonished when he revealed himself as quirkless yet the girl in front of him didn't care. Himiko bluntly said that she is interested in his personality, not him having a quirk or not.

This is where Himiko became greatly attached too since Izuku didn't mind her quirk being related to blood and actually found her quirk interesting...predictable. Himiko was quite happy that someone apart from her two friends viewed her quirk as interesting.

Long story short, Himiko is now storytelling her meeting with Midoriya, etc.

Moving on to other happenings...

Kaga immersed herself in playing musical instruments, but she quickly mastered them since to her it was just a matter of muscle control...which she has excellent control on.

Then she became a bit more daring and started recording herself singing songs from her previous life and posted them on HeroTube, though she lets Manami edit the recordings first before uploading them.

Kaga just sings songs from her previous life and treats it as her own, although she makes sure to research first if it actually exists in this universe too.

But to shorten the explanation, Kaga became an instant hit and was being treated like some Goddess for her amazing voice...yet again another aspect of muscle control but also because her natural voice is amazing too.

Kaga received numerous praise from her family and friends, her second mother Rei even kept teasing her son, Shoto, if he even deserves her. Though this sent Shoto into practicing an instrument of his own and found out that he was actually incredibly talented with the Piano.

Of course, Kaga noticed this and even made a few recordings together, which immediately made the people planning to court Kaga shut up.

They were such a famous duo/solo that Kaga received multiple offers from recording studios and even the chance to perform on stage, though they were instantly rejected since this was just something Kaga found as a hobby.

Anything turned into a responsibility loses the fun in it is what Kaga thought.

It was also a hobby that the couple enjoyed doing together instead of their usual training and dates together, and unfortunately, Himiko wasn't quite interested in the whole singing and musical instruments thing despite having a cute voice.

But here is where Kaga facepalmed...she does not know whether this universe has a way to play with fate but...Himiko was actually scouted to do a photo shoot for a magazine...the theme? School Uniforms!

'If only you knew that her entire theme originally was built on the FOUNDATION of a schoolgirl character', Kaga joked to herself.

Unsurprisingly though, Himiko became a huge talk around Japan for her cute nature, and then suddenly a media outlet made a connection between Kaga, Shoto, and Himiko being best friends.

It gained enough traction for multiple media outlets to talk write about the three and their exploits, their previous achievement in the Tokyo Sky Egg was actually brought up again.

A big media outlet labeled them as 'The Royals' since whatever they do, they always get the top place...and somehow the nickname stuck since a lot of people found it fitting.

People then began talking about how talented The Royals were, amazing quirks, musical talent, looks, and everything. Weirdly enough, the three didn't care one bit and just continued with their lives as if the extra gazes were nothing.

The three didn't want anything to do with the media, since even if they say they work hard to get to that level, no one would really take that seriously anyway. They just imagine you being born with it instantly.

And this was how they spent their months leading up to the first episode in canon, the day where the sludge villain incident will occur, Izuku gets recognized by All Might...but of course...there will be some extras along the way, and the cause of this? A certain fox girl!
