50 Chapter 50: Red Heavenly Tribulation
The world had become so silent that the only sound they could hear was the accelerated beating of their hearts.
It only lasted for a few moments, but that short time was a relief to their poor souls, terrified by the events of the last few hours.
Of course, that stillness didn't last long as the red glow finally turned into a thunderous and destructive roar.
BOOM!!
That thunderclap sounded out from the center point, shocking the entire world.
The sound was so furious and disruptive that many nearly passed out when the sound reached their ears.
But it didn't stop there because an instant later, an even more intense red light than the other eight streaks condensed to the center, and then a lightning bolt of a dark red color darted down toward the ground.
Tian Yang kept looking at the sky with a severe expression because the power emanating from there was truly terrifying. When he saw that flaming snake falling toward him with a shocking speed, he felt tremendous pressure all over his body.
He tried to counteract that disruptive pressure with his unique constitution, The Heavenly Dragon Body, but unfortunately, It was too powerful, and his knees started to give.
That strength continued to build up at an alarming rate, but luckily it suddenly vanished, and he managed to straighten his knees, which had buckled a little from that power.
That pressure hadn't been able to bend him, but the ground beneath him fractured.
His feet sunk at least two or three feet, and some deep and wide fractures had formed in his surroundings.
Fortunately, it didn't last long, and he was able to relax his tense body.
That intense light disappeared shortly after, and he noticed a strange thing rotating around his body.
It was a long and skinny thing similar to a snake, but its figure was covered with particular lightning made of Fire and Thunder qi.
Tian Yang looked at it for a while with an interest expression because he noticed that the intense light around it was slowly dying.
But it didn't last long because he felt a vast amount of pure energy enter inside his head and then slowly transforming into pure elemental qi of Fire and Thunder for his Heavenly Veins.
He finally understood that the Heavenly World Pearl, that insatiable treasure, was slowly devouring and converting that energy.
He could feel the two Heavenly Veins of Element's qi grew a bit inside his belly.
The Fire qi was already at its peak, but this Heavenly Tribulation was a necessary step to finally reach a complete state and start his path toward greatness.
He wanted to check the situation inside his belly, but another rumble rang out in the sky.
BOOM!!!
The second red lightning struck his body, but strangely he felt that the pressure was as powerful as the first.
He tried to lift his head a little, but then another noise even louder came from the sky.
The second flaming snake was still moving around him when another one appeared at its side, intensifying the pressure on his body.
The Heavenly World Pearl was absorbing the energy quickly, but the Heavenly Tribulation was faster than it and continued casting its divine judgment at an alarming rate.

In a few seconds, his body was hit seven times by the Heavenly Tribulation.
The process was so fast that five more angry snakes were still moving around him after the second and third bolts of lightning were absorbed.
Tian Yang tried his best to resist the pressure, but his knees could no longer endure with a five-fold intensity and eventually pierced the soil, like two spears.
As he tried to absorb the immense energies contained inside of them madly, the last angry thunderbolt began rotating and flashing at an incredible speed.
The last bright red light grew so intense that it was impossible to keep looking at the sky.
After the intense light, a series of thunderous noises rang out and made the world tremble more and more.

The mountain, forest, and the ocean became turbulent by the intense tremors.
Those noises kept going for a minute, putting the world almost on the verge of collapse.
But then from the North, East, and West Regions… Angry roars filled with an immense power halted the Heavenly Tribulation's bold actions.
Finally, there was silence, no one knew who stopped this disaster, but everyone was elated and excited by it.
But when they lifted their head to the sky, they realized that there was still a red beast hidden inside those dark clouds…
The last red thunderbolt stopped his terrifying roars, but he was there floating above the head of the bold human and finally, after showing its might for a few more seconds, it darted down towards the ground, like a divine spear…

Somewhere in a dangerous and obscure place, an Ancient Door, made of pure golden energy, was covered by some strange inscription.
Those inscriptions weren't old like the ancient portal but were created ten thousand years ago by a group of righteous and brave mighty existence to protect the two Realms.
A few days ago, the first small fracture appeared on some part of it, but today after midnight, a large crack formed, and part of the seal was finally released.
Maybe most of the people in the God and Mortal Realm had forgotten about it, but the monsters, trapped in that obscure world, were still waiting there for the right time.
And after so long, that tiny crack was enough to let some of those hungry monsters escape and wander again those lands filled with juicy food.

When the last red thunderbolt disappeared, those dark clouds vanished after a while, and the sky returned to its normals colors.
The countless stars and the solitary moon were visible and illuminated the Mortal Realm again.
The world was finally back to normal as if the last day was only a nightmare, but they knew it was all real…because…
They saw everything with their eyes…
They felt the World shake…
They heard those thunderous noises with their ears.
Everybody was sure of one thing, the world had changed again… but they didn't know if it was a good or bad thing.

The last heavenly judgment was so powerful that Tian Yang's body was sent a few steps underground, forming a large red crater on top of that mountain.
Tian Yang crawled out from the hole and cursed, looking at the sky, which now was turned back to normal: "Damn… That bastard scared me… Luckily my body was strong enough…"
He stood up and found out that his clothes were full of burns, but then looking around, he finally realized the destructive power of the last attack.
The beautiful mountain covered by trees and rock changed in a completely different place.
A vast barren land and rivers of lava covered the summit now, making it look like the mouth of a huge volcano.
"Mmm… I have to increase my dragon constitution quickly. Otherwise, the next Heavenly Tribulation will be a bit dangerous."
Its destructive power shocked him, but he couldn't stay here anymore because, after all this mess, the most powerful forces situated around were surely coming here to inspect the situation.
He ran away at his max speed, and indeed a few minutes later, the sky above the summit was covered with big flying ships and terrifying beasts.
1 Few people flew down from the sky and landed on the barren land.
Their faces kept growing darker and darker, looking at the terrible condition of the place, and after a while, an old man in the group roared, like a mad lion: "What the hell happened here?? Damn… this place was full of precious medicinal herbs and good metals… Which bastard destroyed my precious mountain??"
His roars were so loud and powerful that the beasts standing in the sky were so scared that they started roaring and flying in a circle above their heads.
Even Tian Yang, who was already a few miles from there, heard his angry shouts and sighed, looking at the flaming mountain: "It a pity… I should have checked around a little�� From his angry shouts, there were surely good objects…"

Tian Yang couldn't enter inside the Heavenly World Pearl, like in the past, so he hastily searched for a safe place to digest all that energy and luckily found a hidden cave to rest after a while.
He sat cross-legged and started looking inside his belly and found out that the internal space was filled with dense purple energy.
That energy was naturally all the Thunder qi converted from the treasure.
This was the purest form of qi, and not like the mixed qi coming from the dual cultivation, so there was no problem this time, but the energy was really too much, so the absorbing process naturally took a little longer.
Tian Yang let the Elemental Vein absorb it slowly and moved his gaze towards the burning red ball in the distance.
It was different than before. Now it looked like a glass ball with a raging inferno at his center.
Only that thin layer of energy was blocking the Fire qi from showing its might, so he condensed the essence qi in a few needles and pierced the sphere.
PLOP!!
The sphere exploded like a balloon, but nothing else happened.
Those lively flames only moved like a curious child for a while before calming down.
Tian Yang was dumbfounded because there was no change on his body or in the space inside his belly.
Well… actually, there was something strange… he couldn't feel his Fire qi anymore…
