95 Downpour Street

Thunder crackled at the window of one building. The rain started to pour at a horrendously fast pace. The water falling down from the sky landed onto the ground, it's contract banging our ears ever slightly.

Both on my left and right, people were running towards the nearest building or mall, in order to find shelter, keep themselves as bay whilst thunder was booming, and birds were flying away. There were more birds in the sky than before, compared to any day before the news of Nimble, causing weirdness to happen around the world.

In my view, I saw a child, his clothes were drenched because of the rain, but he was standing still, just on the sidewalk accross me.

"Get over here!" I said. Other people shouted beside me to that child, but there was no reply.

I went over there myself. I dodged a lightning bolt that gave my feet a slight shock because of the wet ground. It acted as an agent to combine with the electrcity of the lightning.

I knelt down to the child. At this view, I could see that he was shaking, and was afraid.

I wanted to ask where his parents were, but even then his safety was priority number 1. I couldn't just stay behind and expect someone else to help him.

The child then slightly moved to the left, and his eyes began to tear up. I turned to see a man and a woman waving, shouting. It must be his parents.

"I'll help you get there. Just hold onto me tight." I said to him. He was hesitant at first. "Trust me. If you're scared then you can close your eyes. You can't be here."

He complied by allowing me to pick him up. He positioned his face against me, refusing to see the rain. The rain itself poured down on me, as I began to walk back.

As I began to sprint across the street, it slowly became wider and longer. Below my feet, fish were swimming by fast, some of them even jumping before going back in.

I heard a wince from the child, who looked left. I turned to the same direction, and heard people gasp as I saw the wide jaws of a shark, opening its mouth. I jumped with the child before running.

We let out a breath as soon as a lightning bolt struck the dangerous shark, who collapsed and was taken along the current of the wet street. The parents of the child thanked me, while I looked at the sky.

Somebody tapped my shoulder. "You think Nimble is responsible?"

I simply replied. "At this point, I'm sure we're all wondering whether or not the weirdness would end. We'll just have to go through it."
