Nil & Void

The world of Ouranos bestows upon its inhabitants a chance; a chance to awaken as a Bearer and given access to the System. However, that chance truly is just random chance. One moment someone is normal, and in the next they can be a Sword Bearer, a Shield Bearer, or if they’re lucky, a Salami Bearer. In the Ananke Empire, they pride themselves on their Human Bearers and of the Bound who belong to them. Among these Bound is Nilhil, a child who was found in the center of a compound called the Heap, which lies in the center of the Empire. Shortly after their 18th birthday, chance arrives unexpectedly and changes their life forever as they are thrust out into the world that’s been unknown to them for their entire life. As they awaken as the Nothing Bearer, they must explore both their new powers and a world full of heroes and legends, and of gods and monsters. This is my first story ever! Please bear with me as I learn the ins and outs of authorship. I also post this on Royal Road.
