12 Hide and Go Die(11)
Amidst the chaos in the dark, noisy dining room, one particular participant was strangely quiet.
Although said participant, Chu Yi would have preferred to speak but at the moment , his entire body was being suffocated by a humongous tentacle that seemed to have no qualms in completely blocking off his senses.
It wasn't painful to say the least, but he had been rendered completely blind and could only be carried around in the warm almost burning heat of the creature.
He struggled slightly in its hold but that only prompted it to squeeze around him tighter.
Afterwards he felt himself being lifted out of the dining room and away from the panicking group, knowing he could neither struggle nor resist he settled down in its hold.
He didn't sense any killing intent from the creature either and was honestly quite curious about where it intended to take him. Seeing as it had directly mauled Wu Xin to death, it definitely wasnt merciful, so what exactly had provoked this big guy into kidnapping him.
Nonetheless, after what felt like a brief minute, he was released.
He was still on the train judging from the sound of railways calling out from underneath the wheels, but in a hidden compartment hidden away from the rest of the passengers
The room was brightly lit, and was littered with heaps of dead branches and straw.
In the middle of the room sat large nest of the room and in it laid a gigantic egg.
He seemed to see a glaring green field above the head of the tentacle who was meticulously checking the room for intruders.
Generally Octupus and Squid-Like Creatures lay thousands of eggs the size and color of rice grains a year. Small enough to be stringed along into tiny sacs to hatch under their mothers care.
This however was definitely not a squid egg. It was a dark black in colour, huge and at that moment had cracks being rendered all over it as whatever was inside started hatching.
Why had he been taken here?.
The humongous tentacle would obviously not answer and was busy tidying up the nest for birth.
Crik- Crak
He had been kidnapped here just in time, because at this moment the egg had started shaking , the large cracks along the the top of the egg spreading rapidly.
BOOM-
Out of the shell came a wet paw. It flailed around helplessly for a bit before grabbing onto the side of the egg. Tearing the shell sway bit by bit, it strenuously clawed it's way through.
CrRACK--
Another paw, then with a large sound of shell breaking, it broke triumphantly out of the shell.
What came into sight was a strange creature. It resembled the Cerberus from Greek mythology, with three vicious heads and yet its coat was adorned in pure golden, like an Angel's armor. There was something harmonious yet opposing about it.
It was as if a creature of pure evil and pure good had been meshed together, fusing and completing each other to create this-
"Ankiron. Guardian of the Seven layers, overseer of the heavens. "
A solemn and reverent voice sounded, a man standing above a group of of God to announce the birth of the divine creature.
He didn't know where this memory came from, but he instinctively repeated the name out loud.
Ankiron.
A sharp pain instantly assaulted his brain.
He could feel a low throbbing erupt in his temples at the moment he uttered those words.
Ankiron.
He felt as if he had been stripped of something important but he couldnt remember what exactly he had lost.
[Mama]
What?
He was instantly brought out of his thoughts. In his mind there resounded a sweet childish voice.
[Mama]
Who was it?
Instinctively, he glanced at the the just born Cerebrus. Its golden eyes staring back innocently at him.
[Mama]
Who is your mother! You're a mother! You're whole family's a mother!.
He instantly figured out the ins and outs of the matter. As the first person that came into his sight, the little cherub had imprinted onto him and took him as his mother.
What kind of fucked up bullshit was this.
The damn tentacle that had still been roaming about just now, had instantly disappeared after the Cerebrus's birth.
Who could tell him what he was supposed to do in this situation.
He couldn't leave since the tentacle had been the one to bring him here, and he refused to be the mother of anything.
Admittedly it was cute, with clear golden eyes dripping sweetly with honey, fur still wet with the embryonic fluid from the eggs, but giving off a pitiful air as it stared at its mother, wronged.
But first of all, the gender was wrong.
He was a man through and through and secondly
They werent even of the same species, he knew nothing of how to take care of it.
As if sensing its mothers reluctance, the little cherub started whimpering sadly, paws holding pitifully onto the shell. The words 'Poor and Helpless seemed to be written in block letters above its head'
Although he refused to admit it. Chu Yi was a total --- and seeing its pitiful little face, he only lasted less than a minute before crumbling into a puddle of fluffy goo.
Stepping over the cracked eggs, he heaved the Cerberus who was half his size out and into his arms.
[Mama]
With a black face, Chu Yi corrected it.
[Papa, I'm your papa]
[Mama!]
[Papa]
[Mama!!]
Fuck it.
The scum tentacle came back at this time but this time carried with it a guest.
The conductor stood aloofly on it's back staring down at Chu Yi who held the wet cherub in his hand.
[Papa]
There was silence before he burst into uproarious laughter, the deep, low rumble of his chest sending shivers down Chu Yi spine.
Still didn't stop him from flying into anger.
He had a feeling that the conductor definitely had a hand in this and he was itching to scratch the smile off of his smug face.
Through gritted teeth he asked,
"What did you do?!."
"Oh no no, my dear. I had nothing to do with this. It was you, who broke the rules"
"What rule-"
Suddenly he remembered.
"Dont feed the pets."
He fed the pets.
