3 The Rokungan

**********************

Greyhawk and Snake reached the periphery of the dirt road, towards their front laid a vast open space, a big dome like structure was situated in the middle of the expanse.

Under the sunshine every hue reflected from that big dome was kissed by brilliance, it was a symphony of colours. The dome had silver, gold and green spread all over it's imperfect surface, a blemish that only added to its beauty.

"The Rokunga" Snake commented as he glanced at the Greyhawk "This is where all the masters of the herders, The Rokungans have lived for hundreds of years"

"Do you think I'm a 9 year old brat, who doesn't know anything? Let's get in and do some work, shall we?" Greyhawk spoke out with his lips forced in a curve.

'Truly frustrating, I wish I could kill him soon. It would be utterly satisfying' he thought as he rolled his eyes.

"Sure." Snake said with a hearty laugh as if he could hear that thought.

Greyhawk could see that there was underlying meaning to it, as if the Snake knew what he just thought of but he decided to stop his mind to think in that direction…. Right now, he was here for some important businesses and besides..

'He is just a merchant..' He reassured himself which gave him enough self-confidence that he could deal with anything that this merchant throws at him.

Both of them started walking towards the entrance of the dome and as they got closer they could see the massive structure more closely.

They both were awed at it's beauty, it was simply incredible.

Snake had been here a few times but no matter how many times he sees this giant structure of metal and grass. He could not help but get distracted by it's wonder.

The dome was different for every time, whenever you took your gaze off of it, the engravings change.

There were many engraving enchanted on the dome, mainly of people herding their livestocks, it made one's mind wonder as to why the engraver had done that. Just what was he thinking while making such an architect?

But it clearly radiated the maker's emotions, it wasn't one emotion that could be perieved, they could perceive different emotions from this structure: Anger, Love, pity, sadness, depression, Motivation and Pride.

The dome itself was coloured light brown, and made of mud, stones and metal which now had solidified over time giving it a majestic feeling, there were pillars everywhere around it, supporting the ceilings which branched out of the dome to provide shade to all the guards who protected the dome.

The iron gate had been forged hundreds of years ago. It was a clear ten feet tall and made of twisted green rods, the end of those rods were curved in convoluted patterns and was guarded by 2 guards wearing masks.

As Greyhawk and Snake reached the entrance, one of the guards came forward with the intention to stop them.

He was wearing leather clothing and had a full, ripped build, the mask was made up of sheep's skull and covered half his face when he wore.

He looked like a force to be reckoned with. Any normal person would think twice before getting in the way of such a troublesome guy.

"What brings the travellers of east to the Palace of the masters?" He asked in a monotonous voice

Being a hot headed young man, Greyhawk could not withstand the constant underlying insults from snake and now being stopped at the gates just made his temper flare up.

"Tell that fuck-"

Just as Greyhawk was about to say something, Snake interrupted him and leaned forward and said, "Oh, I apologize for my rude friend here, but we were supposed to meet up with Master Rokunga here. Are we in the wrong place?"

Greyhawk glared daggers at him but snake could not be bothered with it, he was too lazy and busy to help the fiery brat understand their situation. Besides, the situation wasn't in his favour right now.

"Is he expecting you?" The man in leather asked

"Oh yes, he is very well expecting us here, we did had quite a talk when he visited the country of Tear" Snake replied with the same old professional smile on his clever face

"Stay here" The man commanded and entered the dome, he couldn't help but let out a low whistle in admiration of the interior of the dome.

Just as the man went into the building, Greyhawk turned around neared Snake, and peered into his eyes while speaking with a hint of a threat, "If you dare interrupt me again, I wouldn't take the fact into consideration that Dvolhnir likes you before I gorge those eyes of yours out from their sockets and burn them in front of you before putting them back in their places."

"Hey hey hey, why must you be liked that when we are partners" Snake backed up, putting his hands in front of him after which he placed his hands on the Greyhawk's shoulders and said slowly with a slight grin on his hold face, "But you do know what Dvolhnir does to people who do things that you are thinking of doing, right?"

His eyes transformed into little slits which surprised Greyhawk but he decided to not comment on it.

Just as Snake completed his words the man who had went into the building came out and said while standing straight "I apologise for the inconvenience, but my master said that he expects no one to visit him at this time and has ordered me to show the travelers way to outside"

Snake frowned "Can you go and tell him that it is Snake sent by Dvolhnir, and has a very urgent matter to discuss?" He politely requested them while staring into the eyes of that man.

"Master has said that no one is allowed in until his orders" The man sternly replied not giving an ich, "Now if both of you may show yourselves out-"  He said while pointing towards the road leading back.

"Tch-"Greyhawk spoke out before tilting his head, a bit annoyed at the reply "What's your name?"

The man was taken back a bit by this sudden question "Rim, now-"

"Fuck you Rim!" Greyhawk blurted out as he stepped forwards with a crazy look on his face, it was a look which clearly spoke that he was tired of all the shit going on.

Rim suddenly saw Greyhawk's hands turning blurry and the next moment he felt a searing pain in his throat and when he looked down he found out that Greyhawk's hand was there embedded in his throat.

Rim slowly looked upwards before the lights of his eyes went off and he fell down on the ground with no life in those eyes.

"You!!!-" Snake was horrified at this scene, he had thought of negotiating with them so as to not fight but couldn't help and question him, "Now, how are we supposed to meet Rokungan?"

As Snake was speaking this, the other guards appeared around the dome and witnessed the scene, they decided to run towards Snake and Greyhawk and capture them for this.

"Che-" Greyhawk muttered and then became a blur, all of a sudden, the guards who were running towards them stopped and a big hole, and a weird structure of the size of a hand could be seen on all their necks.

Greyhawk blurred from his position and Snake could came face to face with the Greyhawk standing there smiling towards him.

"Lets go now, no one is here to interrupt us." Greyhawk smiled and started walking towards the entrance door with a smug look on his face.

Snake facepalmed as he heard that "Retard" he muttered, a frown clearly visible on his face

Greyhawk reached the entrance door and kicked it while keeping his hands in his pockets, the doors creaked before it fell down and made way for Grayhawk.

"What the…!?" Greyhawk muttered, eyes widening with shock clearly evident in his eyes by what he was seeing in front of them.
