3 Chapter 3

Emily's POV

After Leah got her books out of her locker, we talk till the warning bell rang 5 minutes till the first period started. As Leah and I said our goodbyes, the hallway filled with teenagers talking to each other and yelling out to friends across the hall. I was walking to my geometry class when the hallway went utterly silent. As I turned to the front door, I froze along with the rest of my peers. Jayden Hudson had just walked through the front doors of the school and every single person that was in the hallway stared. No one moved as he walked down the hallway, it remained that way until the bell rang. Everyone started moving towards their classroom while still giving Jayden a wide berth. When I reached my geometry class I was one of the first people to reach the class after Jayden made his grand entrance. I took my seat in the middle closer to the windows that line the wall. More students filled the classroom when the late bell rang. Ms.Williams, the geometry teacher was going over her lesson plan for the day when the door opened and Jayden walked in with one of his friends named Liam. Everyone was again silent even Ms. Williams. This is getting ridiculous. When they finally sit down in the back of the room Ms.Williams started talking again.

After geometry was over I met up with Leah at her locker and set off towards History.

"How was English?" I asked Leah

"Oh, it was fine. Still boring as ever. I have Mr.Gardner and you know how harsh of a teacher he is. What about you?" Leah responded.

"I had Ms. Williams for geometry. " I answered her.

We arrived at our next class Physical Science with Mrs.Robertson. Leah and I sat together close to the windows. We talked quietly together till we heard, Mrs.Robertson say "Hello class, today we will be reviewing Newton's laws of motion. We will have a project due in 5 weeks. This project will be done in a group of 4 that I will choose. I will explain more at the end of class. Any questions?" Before she could answer any questions the door opened to Jayden and the rest of his group, Mason, Chase, and Liam.

"Glad you could join us, boys. Have a seat." Mrs.Robertson said looking unimpressed. They made their way to the back of the class and when they sat down Mrs.Robertson started to answer questions.

When class was almost over Mrs.Robertson started to assign groups. I looked up when I heard my name called.

"In the next grope, we have Emily, Leah, Mason, and Jayden. All of you please come here and collect your papers." Mrs.Robertson announced. Leah and I got up from our seats to get our papers. We did not even look at Jayden and mason who was also up at the front of the room receiving their papers. When we got our papers and returned to our seat class was over rand with Mrs.Robertson dismissed all of us.
