2 Chapter 2

Emily POV -

After Brandon and I had our small conversation at the beginning all we did was listen to music, which I got to pick this time. I was looking through my music on my phone when I came across one of my all-time favorite songs, " Say Amen (Saturday Night)" by Panic! at the Disco. I turned my head towards him and let a slow smile creep onto my face. When he saw my face, he just rolled his eyes.

When we arrived at school Brandon got immediately out of the car and I slowly followed after him.

"See ya after school," Brandon told me as he was running towards his friends. I just shook my head and started to walk to the door of the school. As I am on my way to the door when my only friend Leah cot my attention.

"Hey Em wats up!" Leah greeted me. It should be a crime to be as happy as she is in the morning!

"Hey, Lee. I still wondered how you can be so happy in the morning?" I questioned while looking at her in shock.

"Well not everyone has to be a zombie in the morning like you!" She exclaimed. Then she started to pull me into the school. Before I knew it we were at my locker.

"Lee calm down we have plenty of time before school just and before all of the people get here," I said as I opened my locker and grabbed the textbooks I needed.

"I know I know. But I heard that Jayden Hudson is coming back from his suspension today so I don't want to be in the hallways when he gets here!" She said in a high pitch screech.

" ok ok I get it, and I agree let's go get your books," I told her as we started walking towards her locker. As we were walking around a corner I bumped into a wall.....Leah started laughing at me. I walked back and started to rub my nose. "Ouch! I am glad you find my misery amusing." I said as I continued to rub my nose. " I sorry Em. It's just that you ran into an actual wall!" She said as she was trying and failing not to laugh. " And the best friend of the year goes to Leah Evens! I hope you like your award. " I said as I handed her an imaginary award. "Why thank you. I also would like to thank the academy." She said dramatically as she held up the imaginary award. " You can stop now and we can go get your books or would you have to continue your speech? " I questioned her. " Fine fine let's go get my books before we're late." She conceded. When we got to her locker...
