The Night Calls

Night had fallen once again in the now quiet town of London. The slight chill of spring wind was slowly becoming more prevalent as a light-skinned woman stalked through the cobblestoned streets clad in a black cloak that covered her skin from the frigid wind. As she walked, her chocolate brown eyes lingered on the prostitutes that stood in the alleys and the stray cats that seemed to find some form of comfort with them. She found it ironic, that two things very different yet very similar would be able to find comfort in each other.

The woman chuckled to herself softly.

The wind picked up as she continued walking, moving through her brown wavy hair. Papers that could be heard coming towards her grew louder as the wind grew fiercer. She caught the pages that almost slapped her in the face.

"MURDER IN WHITE CHAPEL

ANOTHER GRUESOME MURDER-"

The woman tsked as she threw the paper to the ground.

She didn't understand why her mother sent her to what she decided was a "sad excuse of a city." It had been nothing but underwhelming and the black clad woman was growing more impatient and hungry as she walked through the streets.

"Hey! You don't leave me you bloody harlot I paid for you!"

A door a couple of meters in front of the brown woman was pushed open with force, a pale woman stumbling holding onto what looked to be a shawl around her shoulders.

The prostitute paid no mind to the black clad woman as she ran away from the man. The tears on her face had ruined the makeup she had done. Anima could see the small bit of her cheek that was red and almost swollen on the other woman's face.

Her eyes faced the man that now had his eyes on the woman standing in front of him.

"Hey! Why don't you come in for a good time?"

She could smell the alcohol from where she was standing and grimaced at the rotten smell. However, she saw an opportunity in front of her. Her frown of disgust soon morphed into a smile.

"Sure," she shrugged

She followed the man inside of his house.

The man's home was a comfortable size for a single resident. If the woman had needed it, she would've chosen to live in a small home like the man's.

"So," he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her further into the home, "what's you're name, sweetie?" In the middle of the room was a beige chesterfield couch. Her eyebrows raised at the choice of furniture for someone who was obviously not very wealthy.

"Anima."

She couldn't help but notice the candelabra fallen on the floor, wax melting and oozing into the furniture.

"What an odd choice for a name. That's alright, I've heard of names that sound more barmy than that. That doesn't make you any less pretty, don't it..."

He was disgusting but she was hungry. She was very hungry and irritated.

Anima was too hungry to play with her food for tonight. She grabbed the man's neck and pushed his body with hers to the couch in the center of the room.

His body landed with a thud and a soft "oof" escaped his lips. His face held pleasant confusion and there was no hint of refusal from him.

Anima placed herself over the man. The bulge in his pants could be easily felt through her clothing. A smirk formed on her lips.

A finger slipped under the buttons of his trousers. She made quick work of ridding the man of his trousers and grabbed the piece of flesh between his legs.

Without wasting any more precious time the woman threw off her cloak.

"Oi, why are you in slacks?"

She wordlessly continued moving her garments as well as his out of the way. With no further moment to waste Anima placed herself on top of the man.

The feeling of him inside of her was underwhelming, causing her to curse under her breath.

"You like that, don't you? You dirty girl..."

She tried greatly to not scoff in disgust. In her mind, this man was lucky that she had even decided to choose him and give him her time, even if it would end in his death.

She placed her mouth over his, hips moving against his rhythmically and skillfully to ensure his utmost pleasure. The man underneath her was enjoying every bit of the altercation; him moaning and moving his hands across her skin, gripping it with each change in movement.

Anima was almost ready, her meal was almost ready. She needed him to be on the verge of release before she could eat him, she needed him close to seeing the stars.

It hadn't taken much longer for the man to release his pleasure into her. Once he did Anima gripped his chin with such a strong force that moans of pleasure were soon being replaced by groans of pain.

Anima still held her lips against her victim, unmoving and waiting for the Qi that would soon be hers to devour.

Slowly but surely, the life force of the man beneath her grew dimmer and dimmer. His body began pruning, as if he had been preserved in a coffin for an eternity.

A content sigh left the succubus' lips.

Her stomach was now full for the time being and her urges were somewhat satisfied for the time being. The woman placed her trousers back on as well as the cloak that was thrown to floor and walked out of the house without glancing back at the body she left behind. Scotland Yard would be able to find his body in a couple of days, maybe even longer.

The night air was even more frigid than before. The wind had grown calmer and the moon shined brighter in the sky.

It was a good night.

Anima continued her trek through the streets, going wherever it was that the night called out to her.
