Abruptly zed's body stops moving and fear start to showing on his face as if his worst nightmare appears before him, a bead of cold sweats appearing on his whole body, his face pale, his whole body trembling uncontrollably then he fell to his knees.

"You saw it too, didn't you?"

"The Red Mirage..." * grin*

Ray slashing his wooden sword toward zed and stop a hair width before it touches zed's neck then sweet sound ringing in his head

[A counter technique that creates three-dimensional images of certain visual concepts from thoughts and emotional impressions within the minds of others, specifically their greatest fears. Despite the fact that the user has to probe a person's subconscious in order to discover the mental image they wish to project, this technique shouldn't be confused with actual telepathy. Although the user can consciously initiate the mental probing in order to find and project an image, the probing process itself isn't governed by their conscious mind. ]

Hence, the user does not consciously know what the image they seek in another person's mind is (in any more detail than that it is the image of the object of his or her greatest fear) until its image actually appeared in the three-dimensional form before them. The three-dimensional images that Shin causes appear similar to holograms, and can be seen by anyone in their vicinity. However, only the people who user derives the image will perceive it as "real," indistinguishable from the real person or object it portrays.

To other people, the image is recognizable as an immaterial illusion. The seeming materialization of the object of the opponent's greatest fear invariably has an immediate emotional impact on them. The image dissolves and ceases to exist as soon as user ceases to maintain sufficient concentration to keep it visible. Shin is an abbreviation of Shinkirou which means "Illusion".

*Zed's POV*

I'm happy that when I heard from the lord duke that the second young lord want to seriously train hard to become a true knight, my happiness was double, as his father's sworn brother and as his grandfather's subject that watching him growing up from baby until now. That's why the morning on the scheduled day I was rushing to his room to immediately start the training.

How stupid I am! how can I forget that he needs to have breakfast first, he still in growth age in 16 years old! what if his growth got stunted if he doesn't eat his breakfast? how am I gonna face his father in the afterlife?

So I'm heading into the training ground, I told every servant on duty to clean the training ground as fast as possible then watch the surrounding area and told the rest to leave. He didn't want his second young lord ashamed because of his ba... *cough* immature swordsmanship, because before this he watching his training several times in the past and every single time he starts to sweat a bit, his older brother, Adam du gladius, the first young lord, forcing him to rest...

As expected, his swordsmanship is really immature, he fell in second hit *sigh*. At least, he didn't give up yet, and his brother nowhere to be seen.

*several hours later*

I'm really impressed, it seems like he is a genius in hardworking, it was his brother that made his potential buried with his overprotective attitude. I can't wait to tell the old lord that his second grandson already become a man that he can be proud of also about this and see his reaction, it'll be funny to see, hahaha

I knocked him aside again, every time I defeat him he immediately stands up again and shouts "AGAIN". This time, I think there is some kind of sharp glint in his eyes? or maybe it was just my imagination...

*swish* I attacked him again and again but 'huh? an after image?'

(Ray) "Mumyo jinpuuryu..."

When I heard his voice I hurriedly turning my body to attack him again to train his reflex but when I'm turning around my vision suddenly gone red, then the image of my late sworn brother when he got killed by the enemies in front of his eyes then I and the whole army gone berserk for revenge for him, even though we win and manage to slaughter the enemy's army, our side also have heavy casualties. That memory got played again and again and his feeling of regret and powerlessness get stronger and stronger every second that passed.

"Are you okay?" Ray said while retracting his sword from Zed's neck, his face look calm but his mind cheering out of excitement both from the quest notification in his mind and from the fact that he now can move this body as he wants even not as fluid as his game avatar body

Slowly zed's eyes got clear again, his pale face gradually back to normal and gain a healthy hue, his trembling stopped then he slowly stood up.

(Zed) "W- What was that?" after calming himself zed finally asking Ray about his move earlier

"Uhmmm, my self invented skill...?"

(Zed) "Ooh, so it just your self invented skill..."

(Zed) "..."

(Zed) "wait, what... WHAT DID YOU SAY?" Zed unconsciously shouting to his young lord, this shows how surprised he is right now. How can he not get surprised? A young boy, at the tender age of 13 just invented a skill that could make him, a soldier that has gone through many bloodbaths on the battlefield, kneeling and felt fear from the depths of his soul. Really, seems like calling him a monster is still underestimating him...

(???) "Uhm, excuse me. I'm sorry for interrupting, but now is nearing the time for lunch and young Lord Adam strictly warned that young Lord Ray is not allowed to skip any of his breakfast, lunch, and dinner."

Both Ray and Zed feel surprised because this Butler comes unnoticed, even though they both let their guard down, but who are they? A former number one player and A soldier that should have to be always alert to his surroundings all the time. Maybe their instinct has gotten dull because they have been submerged in the feeling of peace that they had gone through for too long.

(???) "In ten minutes lunch would be ready, young Lord, do you want to take a bath first or you want to go as it is?"

When he heard that question, Ray awakens from his stupor and felt a shiver down to his spine. 'Thank god he wasn't an enemy, otherwise, I would be a lump of dead meat right now.'

"Thank you, Vince, I'll take a bath first then eat."

(Vince) "As you wish young Lord." then Vince disappear suddenly as if he never there at all

After that Ray went to the main villa and took a bath. While inside the bathroom, he began to ponder 'I just acquired a personal specialties skill, that can't be training acquired skill as this previous body owner didn't know about that skill...'

Personal specialties were divided into three kinds: Innate, Training Acquired, and Talent Awakening Acquired. 'That left Innate and Talent awakening, but this Gladius family's style inclined towards western sword style, while my skill style more inclined towards eastern sword style'

'Only Innate that left then, is it mean that I can acquire back all of my previous skill? but how? are those skills bound to my soul? In any case, getting a personal specialty was a good thing. Specialties can offer additional benefits to adventurers apart from attributes and skills.'
