16 So Long, Farewell

Even though the money in his sacks decreased onto small amount, Elliot still was satisfied and can't wait to try those things out.

He was looking at the items time to time for some reason, he wants to try it immediately. But now then, if he makes Arch wait, he will be just nagged again.

He fasten up going through the crowds, some bumping into him as he tried his best to avoid contact. He didn't know the reason why, but he just hates contacts.

Seconds or so, he arrived at the inn where it was more livelier, maybe because it's evening, perfect time to hang out for these men. The innkeeper, doing his usual things, noticed Elliot standing in wonder at the doorstep.

"Hey young man!" He called out onto Elliot, whom turn to him.

"Yes?" Elliot asked, going to the counter.

"Your father Martin told me to tell you that you should go up after going here, and..." Tom stopped as he made a hand movement like a tip. Elliot smiled in amusement, of course, money.

"How much is it?" Elliot groaning asked, getting his sack to get his galleons.

"Only 230 " Tom said, as Elliot raised his eyebrows.

"230? That's very low. I think I have enough sickle for that.." Elliot said as he get his hands on the sack.

"Uh no kid, galleons. 230 galleons," Tom smiled at him, as Elliot widen his eyes.

"What? Isn't supposed to be 100 per night only? How did it get to 230?" That's why he thought that the payment is in sickles. In his past life, he mostly lived in inns when he was just starting out in the Wizarding World. And he surely hasn't find any inn that cost over 200.

"Additional fees. Your father bought some foods and drinks, also destroyed some glasses," Tom claims, and Elliot sighed helplessly. He was pissed now.

"230 is it..." He got his galleons out and his heavy sack before, barely even weighs now.

Tom received the money saying the room number to him. Elliot grit his teeth in annoyed manner going upstairs, barging in the room.

"yah... i don't have any money now, for your information...." Silently said Elliot, where he see the leisurely eating Arch in the bed, while reading a book. Posting like being in a photo shoot.

"Don't worry, what I get I pay, you get you pay"

"Oh"

Elliot's attitude changes immediately faster than the light, like nothing happened at all, as faint anger was not even seen.

Now that's resolved, he jumps on his bed feeling the soft mattress that his his body.

"Ahhhhh"

Elliot wants to sleep, but he first wants to try the items he bought.

"Did you bought the ingredients?" His master turned to him, asking.

"Yeah, in the sack right there," Elliot pointed at the big sack that lies on the floor.

Arch smiled, "How poor, doesn't even have a space sack, " mocked Arch, space sack, he means the sacks that even it looks small outside, it has the magic ability to hold more than hundred items. It comes in different styles, cheaper meaning the weight is still there, while expensive ones, you can store more things and also the weight doesn't matter.

"Well, here," Arch throwed the book he's reading and Elliot opened a page to see what it is.

"That's the things you should learn first"

"Why so?"

"Because because, just learn it you weak child," Responded Arch who seems annoyed with his everyday suspicion.

Elliot finally smiled seeing his master's face. He admits it, he can be annoying sometimes too.

Elliot looked into it, and it's the procedure, ingredients, of potions he doesn't know. But thumbs up to his master, atleast they have direct names, like the one he spotted. Named

"Potion for Sleeping In A Second"

Simplicity at its finest.

But now then, he asked his main question, "Aren't you already leaving?"

There was silence between the two for some seconds.

"About to" He responded, Elliot nodding, as much as how annoying his master is, he still was a great teacher in all honesty.

"Why, you're sad already?" Tease his master as he saw Elliot going back to his bed only nodding.

"As if," growled Elliot wiggling his toes stretching it, it was strained due to hours of walking.

"I know you will be, so I have a gift for you,"

Arch pointed at his bed, Elliot puzzled.

Until a purring sound is heard at his ears,

"fuCK!"

He stumbled away from his bed falling into the hard floor, but that didn't matter as he face a black furred animal, sleeping silently in the bed.

"yah, swearing bad, and is that how you greet your own pet, you insolent child, tsk tsk.. " A playful Arch nagged Elliot as he stays still on the floor unbothered of what Arch said.

"What is it?" Elliot got up dusting his body, embarrassed, not facing his master.

"It's a panther. Owls, ravens, roads, who the hell care for those. If you managed to get into a fight, your a kid who always thinks first, and panthers are relatively have a good agility which can bother the enemy first," Explained Arch. Even though his looks might not be tell this, he always have his reasons for everything. He's smart.

And Elliot himself knows that, after all, not only Arch learned things or two about his student. His student also learned something from him, his master.

Elliot nodded in understandment and got closer to the panther. It's pretty small, just like a puppy size one. It must be have just been recently born.

Carrying a size like that would be fine, but once he gets into 4th year or so, the panther will be too big that he can't just hang around in Hogwarts and act like having it is fine.

It's small so it's cute. But in the future, it's big, it's wild.

He gently caress the animal in his sleep, waking him up accidentally. The panther's eye was finally revealed. With its pure black fur that can almost absorb 70 percent of light, and it's blue eyes that shines like an ice.

"Faux is your name now," Said Elliot.

"How cute! Even my cold student is falling for it!" Teased once again his master. Where he just ignored it while smiling at the black panther's small face.

"Well then, carry Faux, we're gonna go" Told Arch as he gets up cleaning his clothes.

It was pretty sudden but Elliot still obediently followed. As much as he hates that man.

Elliot was happy now that he's repayed. They got into Gringotts Bank and suffer the puking rollercoaster ride once again. But still, he got back his money, with few more as Arch gave him 500.

After that, they got into a very dark alleyway outside the Leaky Couldron, in the muggle world, Elliot waits still as his master Arch was very slow.

Since it's outside the Wizarding World, his master Arch is probably now parting.

Elliot finally moves as he see his master smiling face at him, getting close to him.

"Can you turn around for a bit?" Asked Arch, in a low and caring voice like to Elliot, whos puzzled but nonetheless, still trun around.

Arch suspiciously put his hands on the middle of his back, Elliot feeling uncomfortable.

"Your not doing something are ya?"

"Of course not" Replied only his master.

Elliot just let him be in his own business. But suddenly, his master started speaking some unknown words to him. Like chanting some unknown language.

He can't understand it so he helplessly stand there peacefully.

"ARGHK!"

Until a sharp pain strikes his whole body, and it was getting more bad as milliseconds passes. The pain was agonizing and he felt like he was being tortured in the sudden tims. It was excruciating to the point he can't breath properly and like someone is sucking the soul out of him.

He can't feel his master's hand anymore as Elliot falls in the ground, alone, groaning, shouting, and whaling in big pain. he was punching the ground for help, it was too much to handle for this moment. He lays unconscious alone in that alley, as light embides his hand.
