14 Diagon Alley

As I step in going forward outside the brick wall, the sunlight that burns my white skin and the hoards of people active shopping in this are surprised me.

Nonetheless, I excitedly smiled. It's like the usual, the first thing that caught my eyes is the shop that sells robe, Madam Malkin's Robe for All Occasion, then there's the Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor. The mint flavor there is my favorite.

Then there's the couldron shop just beside me, different silver things that shines brightly and reflects me as i stare at them in nostalgia.

This is Diagon Alley. The cobllestoned alley where you can shop the usual wizards things. The popular spot for buying the items required for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Like usual, it's a narrow alley, unusual for a shopping area to be. But all of them fits perfectly and you can basically live your whole life here.

But then, even with these shops that are mesmerizing to go at, one shop just attracts me from the rest. Ollivanders.

Some might say I can't get a wand yet, as "you need to be 11 year old for that". And it's exactly wrong, it's only because I hasn't received the letter yet. But currently, he actually can already own his own fitting wand.

But then, technically, that reasoning is right. The Quill of Acceptance, or also knows as the Magical Quill, is a thing that list magical child birth in Europe.

But then, even if your listed. That does not mean your already qualified to be a student at Hogwarts. Your letter will only be prepared once your "accidental magic" comes up. It's where your first magic sightings and moment is recorded. And that way, your already qualified. Meaning, your core has developed and you can receive your wands.

And even at the age of nine, my core is already developed. But then, Ollivander will probably not allow me to get one.

Well, that's a shame then.

"You also know to know three cross and two up?" The voice of my masters cut my thoughts and brought me back to reality.

"Sure," I answered nonchalantly.

"In my record... that ain't in the books..."

Arch slyly smirked, as I just realized that.

But that didn't get my uninterested mind off,

"Sure," I again said, making him feel annoyed.

"So, what will you buy first?"

He asked.

That's a question I would now answer.

"Just follow me, can't sum it up yet," I responded and then walked off away.

"Hey! You shouldn't talk to your Master like that!" A pissed Arch shouts as he was left all alone behind.

My first stop of course, is Gringotts Wizarding Back. All the way in the middle, one of the tallest structure, so it isn't hard to find.

My feet was in rush as time is precious to me. Thinking, my savings, with me being stingy and always going for discount, coupons, and all of the things that can make me reduce payments, with the average pay of 50-100 dollars, which is converted into euro, everyday, I managed to save up to £15,987. Which 10k of those, was up to Claude to deposit into a muggle bank, I asked him for it. And I will use the left 5k to divide it into galleons, knuts, and sickles.

I arrived at the bank, Gringotts still looks the imposing snow-white multistoried marble building , near its intersection with Knockturn Alley, it towers over the neighbouring shops due to its tall figure. The only place in the Wizarding World, where British witches and wizards store their money and other valuables, in heavily-guarded vaults miles below ground.

I entered in, seeing the goblins, who has the characteristics of being greedy. A foe you shouldn't have. Inside, a set of white stairs leads up to a set of burnished bronze doors. The doors are flanked by a goblin in a uniform of scarlet and gold. This is the entrance to Gringotts, and it leads into a small entrance hall and another set of doors. Through these doors, also flanked with goblins, is a vast marble hall long counters stretching along its length with doors leading off to the vault passageways with around a hundred goblins sitting at them. The vaults extend for miles under the city and are accessible through rough stone, complex and interconnected passageways by means of magic carts that are operated by goblins.

It gave me sure some mysterious feeling, the same old feelings I had. No time to waste, I came up to one of the goblins to exchange my money. Arch following behind.

Waiting for some time, I tried to calculate how much would I get. But then, it was already delivered to me.

"1104 Galleons, 510 Sickles, and 4903 knuts.."

The goblin said to me.

"Do you want to buy a sack? The big one fitted for your exchangement is only 2 galleon.. "

The goblin offered. I'm sure i can buy better sacks in Knockturn Alley but I had no choice. I nodded and they got 2 galleons off my money. Putting all the left ones inside the sack.

Now Im troubled to carry that all through my time here.

I turned around suddenly backing off as Arch creepily stared and stand me behind all through those times.

"Let's go," I said to him but he denied with his head.

"Nuh oh, follow me this time, Mister Faust"

Arch said to me, doing the exact thing I did to him where he left me and got on to the main goblin on the middle.

Arch first coughed to get the attention of the goblin.

"Mr. Claude Brook please, would like to withdraw" He told the goblin which slowly stared at him for a few seconds. Wow, is con man his old job? Why didn't he just made his own vault?

"And the key?" the goblin asked in its husky voice.

"Here," Arch brought out a golden fancy key, giving it to the goblin.

The goblin then ordered someone to lead us to the underground.

But I was pretty shocked, it totally didn't cross my mind that my master have a vault. I thought he just left all of his wizard life already. It seems there's something more still.

He signaled me to follow him and we got into the carts going to the vaults.

"Why use Claude's vault?," I discreetly asked in a low voice.

"Hm, sure," he replied, smirking up to his ears.

So we gonna be like this huh?

In contrast to the grand marble of the entryway and the main hall, the passageways to the vaults are stone and dimly lit with flaming torches. We slope down to a track, and it did took a while before we've gone to his vault.

"Vault 694!"

The small goblin said stopping the cart.

In truth, I have never been actually here due to me being poor as a wizard. And this is my first time being in the underground. It's definitely the opposite of what's in the surface.

But then, I remembered how Malfoy before boasted about how deep their vault is, while insulting the Weasley's vault, in the upper floor and usually left with only small amounts.

So was my master always already rich ever since he was born?

This is a pretty darn deep vault, but I' don't know yet what floor exactly is a deep vault.

The goblin hopped outside holding the lamp. The goblin hands the lamp to Arch , and began doing something with his finger and the door.

Drawing some lines, the door made some metal sounds, and then finally opening up.

Arch got in, as I see the insides of it.
