It was scary and exciting at the same time, but the mystery remained—who was he?

The news stayed full of his latest exploits, but to get a picture of him wasn’t so easy. He moved too fast, and he seemed to want to move around in secret. Was he real? Was he from another planet? Had he been created by the night? Had he fallen to Earth from a star? The talk was outrageous. But the Night Flyer stayed silent. He simply continued to stalk the avenues, the holes, the hiding places looking for the bullies, creeps, thugs, and killers in an effort to keep the streets of the city clean.

Deuce, along with everyone else in the city, sucked up all the information he could regarding the Night Flyer, but unfortunately, after meeting him he couldn’t help thinking of Gabe naked, in bed, or starring in any number of illicit scenes that played through his mind.

It was true. He’d fallen in love, but it was a forbidden love.
