Morals

Creed's POV

"Be safe on your journey." said Anemone

"We will." said 2B

I looked at the group and we had over 60 androids with us. Half of them will stay outside the building where the female android we saved was held.

"Oh and I gave a name for the female android. Her name's Samantha." said Anemone

"Okay." I said

"Be safe Creed." said George

"I will. You take care of this camp." I said, "Keep the captain on a short leash."

"I will but make sure you come back." replied George

"Yea I will." I replied

I nodded and shook his hand before patting Pooh and walking out of the camp with the 60 androids.

"Creed are we set?" asked Avery

"Yea we are." I said

She nodded and we began to move out of the camp. I turned and looked at Samantha who seemed to be struggling to walk.

"Samantha you should ride Pooh." said Tory

"Oh..." hesitantly replied Samantha

"It's okay she won't hurt you." I said, "Right Pooh?"

She grunted and nuzzled me with her head. Samantha hesitantly walked towards Pooh and Pooh suddenly sniffed her. Samantha squeaked in fear but relaxed when she saw that Pooh was just trying to sniff her. After about a few seconds of sniffing Pooh relaxed and lowered herself allowing Samantha to get on.

"Pooh is good with androids." said Tory

"Was Kong supposed to come?" asked Nines

"No." replied 2B, "He's just following me."

I looked at Kong who was following 2B.

"Creed, you were outside. How was it?" asked A2

"Nice. There are a lot of nice views." I replied while smiling

I looked up at the night sky as we walked through the City Ruins with torches. We decided not to use the flashlights so that we can use them later.

"Lead the way Samantha." said 2B

She nodded and we began to follow her and Pooh's lead.

"There's no turning back from this." Avery said to me

"I know. I never intended to turn back." I replied

"Okay..." sighed Avery, "Let's get this over with."

I nodded and we began the long rough journey. I held 2B's hand and our fingers interlocked with each other.

"Not everyone's going to make it back." I sighed

"No, everyone will." said 2B, "You'll make sure of it."

I sighed and rubbed my neck.

"I'll try." I said

2B looked at me and I think she noticed that I was visibly stressed.

"Creed, we have 2 weeks until we get there. We'll plan everything." said 2B

I smiled and nodded.

"What would I do without you?" I questioned

"Shut up. You did a lot of things without me for 2 years." hissed 2B

"Right right, sorry." I nervously said

"Your punishment is still not over. We'll continue when we get back." whispered 2B

"W-wait w-what? I thought we were done." I stuttered

"No we are not." replied 2B

I chuckled nervously and I just elbowed her a bit.

"Don't go too hard please?" I quietly begged

"No." whispered 2B

"Damn it." I chuckled

"What are you two whispering?" asked Nines

"Nothing." both 2B and I replied at the same time

Avery looked at me and Nines just tilted his head.

"Nothing nothing." I quickly replied

Avery just nodded but her eyebrows were raised.

"Right." sarcastically said Avery

"This is going to be a long 2 week journey." sighed A2, "How annoying."

12 hours later

2B's POV

"Just the thought of not being able to shower for 2 weeks disturbs me a bit." said Avery

"The longest we lasted was 3 weeks." said Creed

"That was too long." sighed Avery

We were laying down, looking at the night sky filled with bright stars.

"What does feeling dirty feel like?" asked 4S

"You don't want to know." sighed Avery

"Really?" asked Nines

"Really." replied Avery

We stayed silent for a few seconds watching the stars. Other androids were either sleeping or awake, taking security measures.

"Do you think the world will go back to normal?" asked Creed

We stayed silent for a few seconds.

"I don't know." replied Avery, "Even if we do... Do you think it'll be normal?"

"What do you mean?" asked Creed

"Like... think about it. Do you think humans, androids and machines can live together?" asked Avery

"Of course they will." replied Creed

"How can you be so sure? Every single one of the soldiers you saved back there do not like any of the androids." said Avery

"...Right..." sighed Creed

"Plus, let's be real Creed." said Avery, "It's morally wrong to fall in love with a machine. No offense to you androids."

My heart ached a bit when I heard that.

"None taken." replied Nines

"We're not supposed to be mating with a machine and you know that Creed, after all you were religious for a while." said Avery

"What does religious mean?" asked 4S

"I'll explain that later." said Avery

"But I don't see them as androids." replied Creed, "I see them as human beings."

"You may see them as humans but it doesn't deny the fact that they're machines." said Avery

Creed sighed and rubbed his eyes.

"I don't know..." sighed Creed, "Maybe we can uhh make it a law that humans can't mate with androids...?"

"No that's stupid cause you are." said A2

"Right... then maybe we can go into hiding." said Creed, "Run away from this world."

We stayed silent for a few seconds before I replied.

"Am I a burden?" I asked

"What? No you're not. It's just a question of morality." said Creed, "I love you and it'll never change."

"We'll figure this out later." said Avery

The atmosphere died out and none of us wanted to talk.

"Sorry for bringing that up." said Avery

"It's fine... it's not like it's our first time thinking about it." replied Creed

I looked at Creed and he seemed to be feeling sad.

"Pods. What are your opinions?" I asked

"Humanity was taught that it was inappropriate to fall in love with a machine in a sexual manner but that was when technology was very poor so they meant machines as in cars, phones and other items that don't represent a human like androids." said Pod 042

"Right." sighed Avery

"Can we please stop talking and just go to sleep?" asked A2

"Sorry." whispered Creed

Creed hugs me and wraps one of his legs around me.

"I love you no matter what." he whispered

"I know you do." I replied while smiling

I kissed his lips before he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. I waited for everyone to fall asleep and when I heard Creed snoring quietly I got up and gently placed Creed's head on his bag. I quietly walked away from the group with my Pod.

"Where are you headed to?" asked Pod 042

"Nowhere specific." I replied

"Understood." replied Pod 042

I got to this big rock where I could sit, so I jumped up and sat on top of the rock.

"I suppose you followed me here to talk." I said

I turned and looked at A2 who jumped up and took a seat next to me.

"You seem a bit down." said A2

"I am." I sighed

"Want to talk about it?" asked A2

"Sure." I replied

"What's bothering you?" asked A2

I stayed silent before looking at A2.

"After everything that happened, the virus, the ark, I thought this world would be a better place." I said, "But the longer I live, the harder it gets."

I looked up at the sky.

"Sometimes I wish I was just some toy YoRHa uses." I said in frustration

"Basically you want your old life back." said A2

I nodded.

"What about Creed?" asked A2

"I think he'll be better off without me." I replied

A2 sighed and shook her head.

"Don't say that. Creed means a lot to you." said A2

"Right. I said that out of spite." I sighed

"Forget about it for now." said A2

I nodded.

"If Creed doesn't care, then he doesn't care." said A2

"I understand." I replied

A2 nodded and we sat there in silence.

"A2, what was worse?" I asked

"What do you mean?" she asked

"I don't know what's harder. The time before we met Creed or now?" I replied

A2 stayed silent.

"Everything that happened in the past was harder. We didn't have the ones we need next to us." said A2

"Right." I sighed, "What am I even saying."

"You're just frustrated that's all." said A2, "I've experienced it before."

"All of us have. Mine was when... YoRHa was destroyed." I sighed

"...Mine was when I left YoRHa." added A2, "And when I... had to kill you."

"Right. The virus." I sighed, "We've been infected with the virus twice."

A2 looked at me and nudged me.

"Relax. You didn't kill anyone." said A2

"But I severely hurt Creed." I said

"...We all hurt someone." replied A2

I looked up at the stars and sighed.

"When will... when will we ever rest?" I asked

"Who knows, maybe never." she replied

"Right... who knows." I repeated

"Go and get some sleep." said A2

"We don't sleep." I corrected

"Sorry, habit." she said

I smiled a bit and jumped off the rock with A2.

"Don't tell this to Creed." I said

"Who do you think I am?" replied A2

She smiled a bit before laying on the floor next to 4S. I laid next to Creed who was sound asleep and kissed his lips.

"Pod, shut me off." I ordered, "And wake me up when it's necessary."

"Understood. Shutting you off." replied Pod 042

1 week and a half later

2B's POV

Even with the structure of the complex Samantha gave us we couldn't figure it out because it was so complicated. Creed looked at the structure and kept studying it while we kept walking. Creed rubbed his eyes and put the giant paper away.

"Is something wrong?" I asked even though I knew what was wrong.

"I can't get hold of the structure. Samantha's confused about the structure as well." sighed Creed

Creed looked up and sighed.

"And the fucking android we caught bit his tongue out." sighed Creed

I looked at the thug android who was tied up and being carried on Kong's back. His mouth was gagged, his blood soaking through it.

"This entire complex is a maze." said Avery, "Anyone who wanders in there will get lost in 5 minutes."

"We have our Pods though." said Nines

"That's the good part but not everyone does." replied Creed, "We need to break off into."

"Why do we have to break off into groups?" asked Nines

"It'll be a lot more efficient to split up. Sticking together may lead to massacres and it may be time consuming." said Pod 153

"Pod's right. They have the greatest advantage against us." said Creed, "We need to split in order to keep the casualty rate low."

"Creed! We're here!" yelled Apollo

"Here? Where did you lead us?" I asked

"The place where I found everyone." replied Creed

"The prison?" I questioned

Creed nodded and we got on this dirt path and began walking on it. My eyes slightly widened when I saw a giant, round prison.

"I would have mistaken this for a stadium, not a prison." said Avery

Up ahead, Apollo and a couple other androids opened up two giant steel doors allowing us all to enter. There was a giant courtyard in the middle with a couple small stone huts scattered around.

"Rest up, we move out tomorrow." said Avery

Everyone nodded and Creed tilted his head towards me.

"Let's go to my room." said Creed

"Oh you had your own separate room?" I questioned

"Yes I did, it's pretty small but it's enough." replied Creed

He leads me into the prison and walks through a bunch of halls. The atmosphere was heavy, almost gloomy.

"Here." said Creed

He opens up a door and enters a dim room. The room could probably only fit 7 people at most with no room for anyone. There was only one bed and one small drawer and one small window but you couldn't even look through it because it was high up on the wall.

"Sorry, this room is a bit you know... dull." said Creed

"It's fine, we're only going to be here for the night." I replied

He nodded and yawned.

"The sun's about to set. Let's get as much rest as we can." I said
