1 Dilemma

Nick was a typical college student bored of his monotonous lifestyle and just wishing for something exciting to happen that would change his life.

"How I wish a nuclear war would occur and start a survival phase in a nuclear winter, fight against typical radioactive zombies alongside one or two beauties to share heartwarming moments together", Nick thought.

"Sigh! If only something interesting happened to me once in a lifetime. It would be wonderful", and that's what happened.

Because being a damn fool who daydreams as he crosses the street, he ends up like ground beef on the pavement. "Oh crap! I just begged for an interesting life, and just turned into a pile of shit on my way to school".

"Oh well, this is something normal that could happen to everyone, and now that I will be stranded here in the earth as a damn ghost with the only option of being a fucking pervert like a certain culture ghost or my current state is some kind of third person astral projection before leaving for the underworld. I really have no idea, but at least; I achieved my goal of have an exciting once in a lifetime experience. Literally".

"The only thing I regret is still being a virgin despite being 19 years old, shit, if only I had broken my damn monotonous lifestyle and looked for a girlfriend at school or at least went to visit a prostitute in the happy house with my friend fatty Tony when I had the opportunity. How unfortunate".

"Oh well! There is no reason to cry over spilled milk, and now what will it happens? Will I be sucked into the underworld or scattered like dust?" Nick said.

After saying that, I felt a little dizzy which is strange I mean; I'm a damn ghost, aren´t I?

Oh hell, how I appeared in a heavenly palace out of nowhere. I'm high. No that's impossible I'm a goddamn ghost, so what the hell is going on! Perhaps I was transported to Lucifer's castle upon hearing that I am still a virgin. Does he intend to destroy my butt? Oh my god, I have to escape or my manhood will be in danger just when I was going to jump out the window, I heard a dignified and noble voice that said: "Stop, where do you think you are going Nick?"

Hiiiiiiiiii, He knows my name and have found me. My destiny is sealed, so that's why nobody on earth wanted to go to hell, shit, shit, shit. If I had known, I would have become the pope or a monk at least. Now it's too late! 

Resigned, Nick turned with his head down; begging the heavens to at least treat him kindly since it was the first time that he was going to be uncorked. Then, the voice sounded again in the room: "What's wrong? I know; you have become a wandering soul. Recently. But why are you paler than a sheet of paper?" The voice asked in dismay because this was the first time, she had seen anything so strange. 

Nick didn't know how to respond. How was he going to tell him that he was like a damn sheet of paper because he was afraid that his ass would be destroyed or at least that's how he imagined it. "Cheeky boy, how dare you imagine that this lady would do such a thing also I'm Lilith the nature goddess, don't you dare to compare me to Lucifer that disgusting and gloomy boy".

Holy shit! The heavens are on my side this time. I free myself from the claws of the depraved demon, and I get a wonderfully goddess with a divine body in all measures and her face is… I don´t have enough words to describe it; it´s just out of this world.

 Oh hell! Do not think that I am a damn perverted parasite; well, I am but a normal one. I characterize myself more for being an intelligent and shameless boy, but this time I would like this woman in front of me to take me as her servant just to witness such beauty every day and who knows to get a chance with her.

This was what Nick was carelessly thinking without noticing that Lilith was stunned, because this was the first time that she had heard such a thing. Since the people she normally receives in her palace are often reverent and fearful of her power. 

Seeing her expression change slightly. Nick was shocked and terrified. Oh shit! It's all over; she heard what I thought, I'm an asshole. How could I forget that I'm facing a goddess who has many fantasy abilities. Of course among them the power to read minds.

Lilith without changing her dignified expression began to speak; "I have summoned you here simply because your soul has gathered enough karma to allow you to reincarnate, so you have two options. You can reincarnate in your original world as a baby, or you can reincarnate in another world in one person of characteristics and age similar to yours without guarantees that you live a life full of comforts".

"What do you choose? The safe option or you will risk and get a new life full of uncertainty". Lilith asked once more, so Nick this time began to think seriously and ponder the pros and cons of each option. 

A new and safe life full of opportunities to amend my past life and try to find happiness in it, or I risk reincarnating in an exciting, but dangerous and unstable life. 

This is a really complicated question, as despite living a monotonous life; I really love my country and its inhabitants. Of course I love my family very much and my heart really hurts when I leave and leave them, but this is how the cycle of life really works. Some are born others they die. And on the other hand, I have the option to live the exciting life that I have always wanted, but without the security of even having a family that supports me at all time.

So what is worth more? Appreciating what I have and start again or say goodbye to everything and continue with the natural cycle of life and my presence in my original world completely disappear.

"Haaa! Lilith I have decided; send me to the new world". 

"Are you sure?" Lilith asked quite surprised by the answer, because she thought Nick was just a perverted and dreamy boy who would choose the option of the new life in another world just, because it would seem fun and nothing else, but the really wise thought he just had. Really made that she saw him from a different point of view; since his thinking was very mature for a 19-year-old boy.

"Well I will send you to a world called Ligno, of course you will receive the advantage of having a system that will support you during your new life".
