Earthquake

As per usual, like every other day, you could hear Emma waking everyone up.

Jack got up and started to rub his face. He got down as he shook Luke up, "Luke wake up, its morning"

He quickly went through his bedroom door as he saw Sophia and Amanda came out of both bathroom at the end of the hall as they went back to their room.

When Jack went in the bathroom that he usually use, he could smell the sweet scent, as it was quite alluring.

Quickly after taking his shower, he could see Adam waiting to use the bathroom, as he soon went in as he closed the door.

Jack wen to get ready, grabbing his backpack and clipping in his pocket knife.

Going down stair, as he goes back to sit on his chair on the dining table as breakfast was already served.

The family once again were together, as they were on the dining table.

"Sophia, Amanda, can you girls come help me do some grocery shopping this afternoon?"

"Sure" Amanda replied, "We got nothing to do today anyways" added Sophia.

Soon everyone was done, Owen first went outside to check his yard, as he already had things he prepares for today.

When Owen left, Jack knew he also got to go. "Alright, see you guys later" as Jack called out as he went through the door.

Outside was hotter than usual, Jack could see Owen taking out the lawn mower, he also bought some chemical herbicide and a big sharp shears.

"The grass is about the height of my calf's. If it grew any higher, you wouldn't know what hid in there."

He got his bike as he walked out of the front yard, he could see other neighborhood houses that has the same exact problem.

Even the sidewalk had some grass and weeds poking out

Jake started to pedal as he saw something that scared the sh*t out of him.

It was a fist size grasshopper, "TF!?, This isn't the Amazon forest!" Jack quickly pedal as his bike ran over it.

*Squaasssh!!*

Jack could see the grasshopper getting crushed, as large amount of bug juice starts to spill out of its corpse.

Jack wasn't prepared for something like that to appear in front of him as he tried to ride his bike, as the weird vegetation wasn't weird enough.

He continued to ride his bike, as he could see some of the nearby dog behind the fences seemed to be more aggressive as if agitated, but some seemed to be tamed by their owners and some seemed not so much.

Jack quickly pedal away from housing area to the busy street.

Jack quickly got to work on the corner of a Four-way stop light, as it was a busy day being a Friday.

Something obscure was soon happening as Jack quickly went inside

Jack has been outside for the past 2 hours, as he has been sweating buckets.

It was 12 in the afternoon, It was break time for Jack, he came back in to eat chicken for lunch.

Jack was eating with some of his fellow workers, Eve and Dave, they were discussing some of the weird events that has been happening

As they were talking, Jack notice something minuscule on the side of his eyes, as he can see his water bottle causing ripples for a second.

Jack thought it was nothing, it's just him tripping, but he caught it again! as both of his workers didn't notice it at all.

Jack took a closer look as he could see the ripple coming quicker

*ripple...ripple....ripple.....ripple.....ripple...ripple..ripple*

Jack soon notice that it wasn't the table shaking but the ground was shaking

Jack, Eve and David all went under the table, this happen all around the restaurant as everyone duck under the table.

Jack couldn't think as the ground quake faster and faster, as it was accelerating. It felt like standing on a shaking round table, where he didn't have no balance.

All he thought was hoping everyone at home was safe.

This earthquake event didn't just happen in the U.S.

It all occur to all the continents: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Antarctica.

The plates of the earth were moving as every of the continents were getting closer but didn't merge. the current Atlantic Ocean was gone as it was occupied by North America and Europe.

South America sat on the left side of Africa and Australia on its right side occupying the Indian Ocean.

All the continent shifted closer to the Atlantic Ocean. Antarctica also moved up, just beneath Africa.

As the continents were close enough to see the sun bright performances.

The earthquake lasted quite a while. The quake decelerates as it comes to a sudden stop.

Jack looked around as he could see that people were still under the tables after the earthquake.

Jack and some of the braver people in the restaurant stood up from under.

They could see the restaurant was a mess with mini cracks spreading on some part of the building, with heavy dust that clouded inside the building.

Jack squinted his eyes, as he covered his mouth as he waved the dusted away.

The situation begins to calm down, He was shocked what he saw outside.

Most building was able to hold, as some building was able to stabilize with cracks, and some with broken walls or with some collapsed part and corners.

In the supermarket

Emma, Sophia and Amanda were in between the shelf in the aisles as it protects them from any falling derbies. They weren't the only one on the aisle as there were a mother and a child also in there.

They were fortunate that the shelf didn't crushed them as the two shelves fell and formed a triangle roof. Some of the other shelf fell and some were able to stay stable.

The Earthquake stopped, and people came out of their shelter.

"Help!! Help! call 911!!" "Hheeelllppp!! somebody!!" "agghhh!!, help! anyone!"

The three could hear multiple people yelling and crying for help in agony.

The three crawled out as they help the mother and child out. "Thank you" the mother said sincerely. Everyone in the supermarket must have felt quite lightheaded as it shook everyone out of balance.

There were already some people giving a helping hand to those who were stuck between the shelf.

Emma, Sophia and Amanda looked around as they could see that some part of the roof was cracked up, creating small and large holes.

As they look around they were shock, as they saw a metal beam that crushed the lower body of a man that feel from the roof.

There was also a women unconscious with a bleeding head wound, that was hit by a falling debris as she lay on the open roof.
