Corruption

Lex was having bad luck, one move after the other he failed to close the distance between them. Not to mention, he was exhausted from the fight. The spells he used were draining his energy like a leech. 

If he did not end the fight with Lycster soon, he might not be able to win it. 

"I cannot let that happen," he muttered to himself as he looked at Lycster.

Lex reached for his pocket, he had kept this item hidden just in case he needed a little boost. It was a small gemstone brooch that stored energy and power. He was able to channel the energy and power stored within it to give himself a boost. 

That was how he had one the previous match. Now, he was about to use it to win against Lycster. But Lex had failed to take one thing into consideration. If he had listened to his teacher during class, he noticed that the brooch was cursed.
