Excerpt "What do you mean this is where I belong?!!!" She asked incredulously. "It is the truth. It might sound extremely absurd and unbelievable, but it is the truth." He said, his voice tinged with helplessness. "Hell, it is absurd." She threw her hands up in the air exasperatedly. The seriousness in his eyes told her he wasn't at all joking or messing with her. He was damn serious. "Ugh. What shit am I involved in?" YUMMYLICIOUS FOOD

A knock sounded on the sturdy double doors before it was slowly opened. Aristia observed alertly as three females entered the room, dressed in matching maid outfits like the one seen in animes. It was black with a white apron, sleeves and collars. The one who looked the youngest, who was also the one leading the others, called gently;

"Princess? Oh, you're already up." The girl said when she found her standing in front of the mirror. Her dress had frills in the apron.

"Good morning Your Highness." The maids greeted. The youngest maid smiled brightly at Aristia.

Her smile was so contagious that Aristia couldn't help but smile in return while also observing her.

Connecting the novel's description with the girl before her, Aristia recognized her to be book Aristia's personal maid Adeline Towsen, a commoner. She was seventeen years old, had fair and smooth skin, light blonde hair that stopped at her lower back and dark green eyes. A pretty lady. She had a bubbly personality and could get along easily with other people.

"Good morning. Good morning Linny." Aristia called her maid by the nickname Aristia called Adeline, while also replying to the other maids' greetings.

"Princess, it is time for your bath, you have classes today," Adeline said. "Princess should prepare early as today is your first day of ever attending classes."

[Classes?] She thought, before it dawned on her.

[That's right. Aristia is supposed to be attending classes like embroidery, etiquette, dance, music and history. According to the people of this world, it is the knowledge and skills required for the noble girls in this world to be a good noble woman, wife and mother.] She rolled her eyes inwardly.

Then her narcissism started to resurface.

[I already learned those things in my world as a daughter of a wealthy aristocrat family. Though I learned how to knit and embroider out of boredom. I was good at horse riding, archery, fencing, and martial arts. I wasn't called genius child and multi tasker for nothing. I could say I was pretty awesome. The novel said that 'Aristia's also a genius' but no one knows that yet. Even so, I should be making me some money instead of sitting and sewing patterns on handkerchiefs all day. That would just be a waste of my brilliant mind.] She silently sneered. She had the beauty, brains and talent and she had never let it go to waste. She wasn't planning on doing so now either.

[I have to go to school all over again? I don't have a choice about it though since the history here is definitely different from that of my country back in Earth. I'm not even sure this is Earth. Plus, I'm pretty sure Aristia's parents will not agree with her not receiving the required education for noble children.]

Thinking of all this, Aristia let out a sigh, "Alright Linny, let's go." The other two maids had already left to prepare the bath.

"What are you doing?!" Aristia asked when Adeline pulled her clothes. She stared at her with a guarded look.

"Princess, you have to take off your clothes." Adeline said with confusion written all over her face.

"I can do it myself." She said, wrapping her arms around herself.

[What do you wanna see, huh?!] She thought, forgetting that this was not the first time Aristia would have been bathed by others.

"Princess, I have to get you ready. The Master and Madam will not be pleased with me." Adeline said with a conflicted and confused look. Did the princess decide to throw a tantrum?

[I forgot that in medieval times, the servants bathe the Masters of the house. I'm not used to this.] She was hesitant.

She didn't want to make things hard for the pretty maid. "Fine. But they have to leave." She said, pointing at the other two maids.

Adeline glanced at them.

"We will take our leave, Your Highness." They bowed and left.

Only then did Aristia enter the bathroom.

***

After a long and relaxing bath, Aristia with the help of Adeline, got dressed in a blue long sleeved ankle length dress before she went down for breakfas. All the maidservants she passed by were dressed the same way.

On reaching a door she assumed was the dining table, a guard after bowing, opened the door for her and shut it when she entered. She looked around the large dining room and saw a few maids standing by the wall with their heads bowed.

[Aren't their necks hurting?] She thought and turned away from them to stare at the people seated at the dining table.

There at the dining table were Aristia's parents, Grand Duke Wilson Amberale and Grand Duchess Catherine Amberale.

She sat on a seat at the dining table and decided to properly observe Aristia's parents. Her father, Grand Duke Wilson Amberale, had deep black eyes that seemed bottomless and light grey hair. It was his natural color and not due to old age— hell, he looked very young. Wilson possessed a toned physique, with defined muscles suggesting strength and fitness without being overly bulky or ripped.

Her mother, Grand Duchess Catherine Amberale, possessed hair as black as the night, cascading down to her waist in sleek, straight strands. Her captivating sparkling violet eyes shimmered with an enchanting allure. She had an hourglass figure and also wasn't lacking in the chest area.

Aristia was stunned. Their hair and eye colour wasn't what caught her attention, though. It was their faces.

So d*mn beautiful!!!

[I've never seen or heard of anyone as beautiful as these two in my twenty four years alive on this Earth, and I've seen a lot of handsome and beautiful men and women due to my involvement in the entertainment and fashion industries and the high society social circles, also from being a beauty myself. With such dazzling features, it's no wonder Aristia looks so beautiful.]

Could she poach them? She wondered. She could have had a chance if it was in her world.

"... dear, are you okay?"

Aristia was snapped back to reality by the concern filled voice of Catherine.

"Uh, yes... Mother?" Aristia asked, adding the title 'mother' when she recalled the woman's identity.

"Tia, you haven't touched your food," Catherine continued, addressing Aristia by her nickname, "What's wrong?" She noticed how her daughter referred to her as 'Mother' and not the usual 'Mama'.

"It's nothing, ahem... Mama." Aristia replied when she remembered Aristia's way of addressing her parents. "It's just that Mama and Papa are just too pretty." She said in a cute voice.

A blush started forming on Catherine's face while Wilson had a wide smile on his face.

"Oh Cathy," Wilson turned to his wife, "Isn't Tia the cutest?"

"Yes Will, she is."

Aristia ignored her fans of a mother and father when something else caught her attention.

[Holy Cow, look at all this food. There's chicken, bread, milk, stew, pork, beef and wine and all this only for three people? I hope they don't waste any. I hate when people waste good food. There are lots of people who barely have any food to even think of wasting the little they get].

It wasn't like she hadn't eaten most of the food on the table in her original world, it was just that as a well-known business woman, actress and model, she had to watch her shape and thus she couldn't eat whatever she wanted. She had to watch the carbs. She wasn't one of those people who, no matter what they ate, never added weight.

[What are they called again? Ahah, I got it. They're called people with fast metabolism rate... I think. But I don't know if this body is one of them though, since Aristia is not a heavy eater. Oh well, I guess there's only one way to find out].

"I'm gonna eat my way to my answer." Aristia whispered to herself as she quickly made herself comfortable in her seat.

"Hm?" Wilson muttered, but none heard him.

The family of three soon started eating and Aristia wasted no time in gobbling up the food. Aristia, who was usually sophisticated and elegant in whatever she was doing, now was filling her mouth with food last a hamster.

[So delicious, yummy! Ooooh! Yummy, yummy, yummy, yummy for my tummy. My sister-in-law Suzy was always singing that whenever I cooked for the family, she always comes up with weird and tacky rhymes. I still love her though.]

"Aristia eat properly." Her mother warned sternly, or as stern as she tried to be since she couldn't really be stern when facing her adorable daughter.

"Oh take it easy Cathy, we both know Tia's cute even when she's gobbling up her food." Will defended but one glare from Catherine shut him up and he coughed while quickly changing sides.

"Ahem. Your mother's right Tia, eat properly." Wilson said to Aristia.

[Seriously dude? You changed sides quicker than Mr. Kr*bs changes his face when he sees money.] She scowled at him, referring him to a character in a kids cartoon she watched when she was little.

Who was she kidding? She still loved it and still watched it at twenty four. She'd proudly admit it.

Apart from that, she also noticed something. [Despite being in this backward world, Catherine has no fear of glaring at her husband and Wilson doesn't seem to mind at all, unlike what I know about most nobles.] She observed. She still remembered to reply to her mother.

"Yes Mama, it's just that all this food is delicious and yummy– it's yummylicious." She said seriously. It was a funny sight, to say the least.

[Even though I can't resist delicious food, I only showed that side of me to my family. So to act like this today, it seems like Aristia's attitude is already rubbing off on me. I can't let that happen.]

"Really?"

"Huh?"

This chapter seemed a little bit cringe to me. ⊙﹏⊙
