3 The Test

Jin had turned 10 he had a small party of course then Gin had told both junko and Jin to get a good rest they'd be doing something big tomorrow of course they did as they where asked when they woke up Gin had taken them out to the forest then said " this is my final test for both of you you shall both survive here in the forest for a month but you'll only help yourself not each other got it " they both got mad at the last part yet they couldn't do it for more than a minute then Gin grabbed Jin and took him to the other side of the forest then left saying " good luck Jin "

Jin still mad went to find something to let his anger out on findings Boros a massive boar like monster with huge tusks hearing Jin it charged yet stopped dead in its tracks as Jin glared at it then Jin dashed at it the boros charged at Jin wildly yet Jin caught its tusks then broke the tusks after that while the boros was roaring in pain Jin jumped over it with his leg over his head and swung it down into the boros head causing its skull to shatter and its brain to turn into mush by the shear force of the kick ( the boros was at least high C rank to low B rank ) after that Jin then dragged the boros body behind him as he found a cave with a pack of shankos wolf like creatures with a lot of spikes along there body the pack lept at Jin thinking him and easy meal yet then Jin still somewhat mad disappeared from there view only for many to drop dead as Jin had hit each of them square in the chest which broke there ribs and caused the the heart to be Pierced as well as just about crushing every other organ in the chest area of the shankos body's ( a pack of shankos are at least low to mid B rank ) then Jin claimed the packs old cave as his own taking all of the body's into the cave and beginning to make a fire Jin was also slightly breathing

A week had past since Jin had been takin into the forest with junko he had mostly killed any and all monsters that came by the cave he had found a nice water fall deeper into the cave where he wound often swim in to take his mind of things and just relax in general ' I hope junkos ok ' he thought as he cooked his lunch' ahh she'll be fine she's a strong demihuman after all ' he quickly then looked over to the entrance of the cave and herd growling Jin then got up and dashed into the big monster an kicked it in the chest Jin found that its bones where stronger then most then the monster clawed at Jins leg scratching it slightly the he saw what monster he was dealing with it was an ursine a massive bear like creature that was at the very least high A rank to mid S rank Jin got ready for what could be the fight of his life the ursine the got in front of Jin and then clawed down at him as Jin dodged its claws managed to catch his arm and chest Jin quickly got out of the cave and then began to think of a way to beat the ursine its hide was very thick and hard to pierce yet none piercing weaponry worked wonders on it Jin decided his plan he turned and ran into the forest the ursine following the smell of his blood into a very dense part the ursine looked around then Jin jumped off of a branch kicking towards its head the bear caught his kick yet its paw was very much to hurt as it grit its teeth Jin then used his other leg and kick at the bears head as it grit its teeth catching it off guard making Jins kick hit its temple making the ursine let go of Jins leg in an daze yet before Jin dropped down to the ground Jin grabbed the ursines arm then began to bend it in an unnatural direction the ursine slowly coming out of its daze felt its arm getting bent weirdly only to feel the bone snap under a massive amount of strain Jin had bent it very unnaturally then punched it with all of his strength then as he let go the ursine clawed at Jin grazing his fore head

Blood began to cloud Jins view yet Jin decided to make sure the bear would stay stunned by kicking it in its reproductive area the bear kneeled down in pain using its only working arm to defend its specific area then it found another kick to its temple putting it in a deeper daze yet as the world blurred around it it saw a very quickly blur charging at it before it could do anything the ursine felt the blur connect a very quick fist to its chest with maximum force Jin it didn't stop there he then continued to push his fist deeper into the bears chest his eyes began to flicker silver as he screams into the forest the bear also roars as it began to bite into Jins shoulder then Jin punched the bear int the head his eyes now fully silver and being hit by this stage 1 apotheosis punch made the ursine stand brain rattle in its skull making it unconscious Jin lifted the bears jaws in a way so that it stopped biting into his shoulder and wouldn't have caused any more damage then after laying the bear down Jin jumped into the air then slammed his leg into the ursines chest making blood come out of its mouth Jin then made sure it was dead and it was ( the ursine that Jin fought was at least low S )then he wobbled back to his cave collecting herbs that would help his healing process as he went by he had learned about them during his non training time

He decided not to hunt anything mostly just boros to big during this time as he healed he had medical leaves covering his cuts and didn't want to reopen his wounds or make the leaves fall off

Junko had not really had many big fights with any monsters as her demihuman feature was one of an apex predator with very few enemies though some of the bigger monsters had come yet after some time they all fell this was mostly because junko dragged out the fight to a point that the monsters knew that had no chance against her and so they could feel despair she knew that jin would have had troubles against them but she also knew that he must me growing stronger

Jin had began to try and get to the 2nd stage of apotheosis he also meditated in his energies to get better control over them he had also healed enough to a point that his wounds where scars

A few more weeks had passed and this week was the final weeks and it was the final day Jin had felt very close to reaching the next stage of apotheosis he was currently exploring a Rocky Mountain area then he felt danger and moved out of the way finding a skarn charging at him ( from dauntless ) it was at the very least a mid S rank and it had used rocks from its surroundings as armour Jin knew he would be in for a fight the skarn was slow yet tanky and could hit just about as hard Jin would have to wait for the skarn to tire itself out a or try and cripple it the skarn began to stand on its back legs seeing this chance Jin punched its legs causing it to fall over Jin the punched into its chest yet even the scales where quite tough Jin had put more and more force into his punches until finally he felt like he was hurting it then it got up and threw itself over on top of Jin before that could happen Jin got out of the way then the skarn began to push the sharp tops of the rocks towards Jin some had knicked him yet none did very much damage

The skarn then got back up and sent sharp rocks at Jin he was able to doge most yet some hit him Jin then began to get towards the skarns head after getting close enough he kicked its eye making it become enraged a red glow outlined the skarn as it began to relentlessly attacked Jin causing bruises and cuts across his body Jin the went into his 1st stage his eyes turning silver and began to trade blows while also doing his best to doge the attacks sent at him by the skarn the rocks of the armoured skarn began to crack under the silver eyed Jins attacks then the skarn made a rock wave around its body as it did some of the rocks dug into Jin he then shattered the rocks that stabbed into him his eyes having crosses in them his eyes glowing a bright blue ( like the cover ) he felt new power surge though him he went and attacked the skarn yet this time he controlled the attack to be sent through the rock and into the internals of the skarns body he also made the skarn lose control of its amour causing the rocks to fall off of the skarn leaving it completely defenceless against a stage 2 apotheosis Jin

The skarn was coughing up blood as Jin went to finish it with a quick jab to the head finishing it for good after that Jin walked away from it he coughed up some blood then fell onto the ground from exhaustion

Jin soon woke up in his bed not the one made in his cave but his own bed he got up and found junko waiting outside his door " oh heya Jin have a nice nap " she said smiling yet that smile had something unerving about it she was having some thoughts ' that skarn was lucky Jin had killed it if it got away I'd show it the true meaning of fear and of course DESPAIR' Jin just shivered then got up he was covered in bandages fumiko the came " well look who decided to wake up " Jin just sleepily asked " how long was I out for " Gin then stepped in " at least a week kid you pushing your self like that after achieving your 2nd stage of apotheosis was quite taxing on your body and energies but you both passed the test with flying colours " Jin and junko smiled as they herd this then fumiko said " now both of your will be going to school " there smiles faded with they herd that
