"Remnant buildings! Although the danger inside nothing lesser than what I'm facing now, I have no other choices except getting inside there!" Chen Fan raised his rifle and emptied a magazine on the door before he tackled the door to access the building.
Once inside, the threatening roar from the Red Land Wyrm, but his escape did not end here. With a torchlight on his left and rifle on the right, Chen Fan searched for access to a basement level. After a few minutes of searching, he found the entrance, but they were blocked with some tool from the other side.
"HUOOOOR!" the Red Land Wyrm fiercely search for the faint smell belong to something different from them. Anxious to taste this delicacy, the Red Land Wyrm slammed its body onto the building wall, causing debris on the top falls through the open lobby.
"Bam! Bam! Klong...." Rusted chairs, glasses, and tables fell from above and piled in the lobby area. This cut off Chen Fan's escape route back to where he came. Stucked in this passageway with only two doors for him to access, Chen Fan place his bet to the one he'd yet to try.
"Clack..." the door opened the moment Chen Fan twisted the knob.
Inside, Chen Fan noticed a few sets of table and chairs, along with four no longer use desktop computers. Based on their design and branding, these things must be left here twelve centuries ago, when the earlier generation of people escaped from the Planet Earth.
Still, it was something to be proud of as he looked at the decayed condition of the tools earlier generation used. With twelve centuries had passed, what kind of tools or equipment could remain intact? But from the status of these items, they're at least twice better in term of building quality compared to what was made and provided in Yubo Space Continent.

"Scanner found the remnant of the earliest existence of [Origin Alternative]! Emergency report and summoning beacon are activated!" losing control, the Handheld Device in his hand suddenly releases a unique frequency for urgent communication.
"Zzz... Zzz... Ch... Chen... Fan." it surprised him when the device actually becomes a tool capable of long-range communication, although the instruction is somewhat disturbed by static.
"Yes!" he immediately replied.

The instruction from the other side was filled with static, making the order failed to be instructed carefully. After checking around the room for resources worth collecting, the device investigated and supports Chen Fan to collect the specimen.
It was a dried up "Alternative" adult. The corpse was hidden behind one of the desktop computers, therefore wasn't found by anybody during the exploration. After checking around the room and taking proper rest, Chen Fan agrees that it's time for him to make his way through the basement entrance.

It was a bet next, as Chen Fan will have to insert his hand through the opening to try and remove whatever stopping him from opening the door. If he's lucky, there will be nothing standing behind the door, but if he's unlucky, he will have to prepare to lose his hand here while waiting for his death.
"Huh... Let's Do It!" Chen Fan put his hand through and tried to access as much as he could. Feeling that the obstacle blocking the door from inside belonged to a pretty heavy metal shelf, he took back his hand for some handheld tool.
It was one of the wrought iron taken from the fallen debris caused by the Red Land Wyrm. By using this item and putting in some pressure, Chen Fan successfully moved the metal shelf aside slightly, allowing him to borrow the strength from momentum to force open that door.
Three kicks. That's what Chen Fan used to open a way down the basement. Next was a total of forty steps of the staircase for him to went down. Opening the door, Chen Fan entered the pitch black basement parking lot with a torchlight on his left.
"I escaped the mouth of a tiger just to deliver myself into the den of wolves." Chen Fan chuckled on his ill luck of meeting danger here and there as he goes. Out of other choices, Chen Fan quickens his steps hoping that he could found an exit as soon as possible before the monsters staying in this parking basement returns.
Luckily, the path to the exit was an easy one.
Getting out from the parking basement, Chen Fan quickly accessed the Handheld Device for his direction. With over 110 kilometers away from the Launch Zone, Chen Fan will have to finish covering the distance in his remaining six days.
As for now, it was time to rest.

"Captain Lee, there's an order came from the Second Company," a soldier reported. After handling the device with information to the captain, the soldier left.

"Sunmi, Hayoung, Sam, Alex Park, and Black, report to the Hanoi City Armory, we're going for a walk!" Captain Lee order vibrates in the device of these five soldiers, well known as the five stars of Captain Lee.
Receiving the briefing related to this extraction and escort mission, the five soldiers revealed their puzzled expression.
"Should I make a request for a Tempest Minigun?" Black jokes. It was a weird combination, where Sunmi, Hayoung, and Alex Park carries the feature of an Asian, while Sam seems like a European. As for black, he's either a Nigerian or African.
Of course, all of these no longer a major topic to be discussed.
"We're going to make a quick extraction. Remember that the Remains of Origin Alternative is the priority, while the escort mission is secondary. Make sure that the report on Red Land Wyrm and Diamond Primate King is continuously updated without mistakes."
"Ready?" Captain Lee asked.
"Yes, Sir!" the five replied with a hand salute.
"Good!" Under his leadership, Captain Lee took the five soldiers along with him as they make their way towards the Hai Phong City.

2nd Day, Morning.
"Not bad, not bad..." Chen Fan continued to enjoy the delicacy prepared for the miners sent on New Earth. Filled with nutrients needed for one to be active for 20 hours or more, these Miner Rations are always one of the best reward provided to them.
"Should we continue with our journey?" Chen Fan put on the equipment assigned to him and left the small five levels tall building. But before that, he'll have to harvest the two resources vein near the building.

Lucky for him, Chen Fan spotted a dead body belonged to a Cultist Stonecrawler and process the body, adding up a Cultist Crystal Shard and half Cultist Mineral Shards into his inventory. Since the processed material weight less than 10kg, it is considerably light for a newcomer like himself.
The travel took him six hours to complete and reach Van-Tra. Along the way, Chen Fan collected six fruits from the Copper Tree, known best for their fruits with copper source inside, and some creeper vines for Liquid Mercury source.
"Hey, what is wrong with this town?" Chen Fan prepared to head inside the little town, but with the outskirt filled with metal silk ten times stronger than regular spider silk, Chen Fan knows that he just delivered himself into the web belonged to one of the worst predators!
