A youth in his eighteen of age accepted the card handed by the receptionist before he left the processing counter. Behind him stands more registering youngsters that also here for the same matter as he does.
Without further ado, the youth left the so-called Mining Incorporated Corporation branch and headed to the business street to purchase some food and also to prepare for his task tomorrow morning.
But before he made his first step, the youth turned around and took another glance on the building's entrance.

"Earth! You're going to witness the birth of Yubo Space Continent's best miner! Get ready to receive the arrival of Fan Zheng!" the youth named Chen Fan pointed at the planed filled with grey, blue, and greenish hue right above his head.
Surprisingly, the ground he stands actually located not on the planet earth, but a gigantic space colony. This colony itself named Yubo Continent, splits into 81 Sectors and 7,920 Sections. Each section itself hold 5,000 residents, regardless of status, sex, and age.
Other than the Yubo Continent Colony, there are three more colonies accompanied it as they hovered according to the earth's Moon orbit, where the moon itself was destroyed and no longer exist.
As one of the residents born within the Space Colony, Chen Fan's mindset can be said to follow the Spatial Generation, which lacks love and appreciation towards the planet name Earth. In their eyes, the planet itself is just a fuel source that was so enormous it can fuel a hundred more colonies without problem for more than a thousand years.
Happened twelve centuries ago, the Earth, held most of humanity most modern technology, was challenged by the might of a meteorite carrying disaster that will change their lives forever.
Known as Meteorite Zukunft, or future in English landed under the eyes of billions of people living on Earth. As the landing spot is located in North Berlin, Germany, in the lake of Monchsee.
Armed with curiosity and technology that allows them to drain the water away, the Germans took the lead in the research of this meteorite, which started the changes to this world.
A living microorganism the world decided to name them "Alternative" is spotted living in the surface of the entire meteorite, making the researchers questioning a simple fact that puzzles them forever.
How did "Alternative" survive the heat when entering the atmospheric level of the earth?
The question leads to further researches, with each country participating in unveiling the truth behind the "Alternative" method of survival. It took the world ten years to found out that "Alternative" is nothing similar to any microorganism found in the surface of the Earth.
Instead, the "Alternative" carries the feature of hundred nucleus cell feature that allows their expansion to proceeds a hundred times faster. They also found out that "Alternative" has the tendency to consume waste matter, such as plastic, food waste without a hint of a picky eater.
Other than contributing to mankind as a specialist in waste control, "Alternative" produces a valuable resource upon a certain maturity, which is said to be their adulthood stage. From the cell similar to the size of male sperm, "Alternative" could grow into their infancy stage with the size of a tadpole, and adolescent stage with the size no bigger than a grasshopper.
But in "Alternative" Adulthood Stage, with a body no longer than an adult human palm, they stopped growing and started to expands their number, which is similar to releasing the one hundred nuclei within their body.
After all these preparations, the slime looking "Alternative" will starts producing a kind of liquid rich in Aromatic Hydrocarbon and elemental components greatly exceed the usage of Nitroglycerine. Through multiple research and test results, mankind decided to introduce this product to the public in various purposes.

The existence of this organism itself allowed humanity to involve themselves in natural, clean, ethical energy.
Twenty years after the day "Alternative" landed on Earth, over 15% of the world introduces the application of ACF in the automotive industry. With the life cycle of 100,000 Km for every 100ml of Cellular Fuel, it gave the industry a decade of entirely advancement of technology.
From the upgrade in the fuel tank, combustion system, electronic equipment, they soon followed to the chassis, made, and design. Through the application of "Alternative" into the automotive, branded automotive like BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, and Hyundai face bankruptcy due to increases of challenger in the industry.
Not long after this booming advancement in automotive, it wasn't a dream to design high performance, lightweight, mass traveling automotive and also into aviation technology. The ten years of introduction alone brought the world together, forming the Alternative Automotive and Alternative Aviation, two huge world-conquering organizations.
Similarly, those day to day product face booming advancement in their made and sources, and through the introduction of ACA and ACC, the market grows into something nobody can completely control them. Plastic and paper were replaced by a large number of new ACA and ACC products, promoting a stop in exploiting the natural resources earth gives to mankind.
Five decades after "Alternative" entered the lives of mankind, they become the humanity best companion, where almost everything includes any product from the three into their making.
But...
The prosperity did not last long. On the period of the sixth decade to the tenth decade, marking one century of Alternative's existence, mankind develops the technology mature enough to enter the age of space exploration. At first, two colonies and four relay stations are proposed and made to raise their chances of survival.
And in that five decades of space exploration, Alternative mutated. While the origin, the piece of meteorite is taken and exploited by mankind into making, the two other factions, those that migrated into the body of liquid in Lake of Monchsee and those into the soil of Earth, started to develop differently.
Vegetation faces forceful development in their gene, turning them into Soil Mutation Alternative. The body of liquid that left the Lake of Monchsee followed the same path and focused on mutating the population within the sea.
One century after that, mankind forced to escape from the Earth itself. While the "Alternative they cultured followed the path of Peace and Prosperity, the Mutated Alternative followed Destruction and Gluttony.
The Mutated Alternative gave mankind one century to leave the Earth. After their departure, the Mutated Alternative infected the entire Earth, battling until what it was now, a Grey, blue, greenish planet, named New Earth.
Sadly, the changes in New Earth somewhat affected the Lunar Moon. Ten centuries is all it took to destroy the satellite. Now, only the remnants of its minerals are seen everywhere in the New Earth's orbit, seemingly crying to the New Earth's cruelty.
And in the ten centuries, mankind advances. Cultured by them through heart and soul, "Alternative" grant mankind further improvement, allowing them who lost the planet they originated from, to fight back for what was supposed to be theirs.
Through continuous plunder, mankind created two more space colonies, extending their numbers to one hundred and sixty million residents. As for the Relay Stations, they became mankind's resources station, each designated for different purposes.
This allowed the vacancy for job flourished. One may not die out of hunger from not being productive, but to further enjoying what was available in the Space Colony, one will have to earn them from working. This is also the reason for M.I.C's existence.
Mining Incorporated Corporation
This company took the job one step further, focusing on the reclamation of every available resource they can lay their hand on New Earth. While it was a glorious thing to become of the miners, the risk it involves certainly more different from what any shepherd will face.
Two days after Chen Fan collected his M.I.C Identification Card, the announcement for miners to board the shuttle and depart into New Earth is finally here! Provided with weaponry, emergency aid kits, and miner's equipment, All Chen Fan need to do is collect as many resources as he could before reaching the Colony Launching Base!
If everything goes well on his first trip, this trip alone will be enough to feed him lavishly for an entire week without checking what's left in his pocket! Furthermore, as long as you don't wreck, lost, or used the equipment provided by the M.I.C, he will be there just to collect some pocket money!
