Suddenly I heard a sound, it was coming from a distance. Apparently, it ..wasn't just me that heard it as Jacob stood up quickly and came to my side while I stopped jumping and start looking around, feeling fear grow in my heart. Jacob stood in front of me in a protective way looking all around trying to make out the source of this strange sound.

And then I heard another sound coming from behind the trees across the lake, every time it sounded louder, nearer. From the shadows of the trees emerged a figure of a man, as he kept walking I could see his face from the low light provided from the moon, it was Keven. He started approaching us with a smirk plastered on his face, amusement showing in his eyes. Going around the lake and stopping in front of a growling Jacob who didn't seem too happy with his presence.
