Attending Jacob's class was refreshing and fun at the same time. Not only it was those two, I felt no regret coming inside. I learn many things just by listening inside and probably, I will attend his classes in the future. Well, my time is not too tight to not include attending Jacob's class. Besides, I only have a few classes in my schedule so it's all good. I formed a smile under my mask as I remember how Jacob was teaching. Even though he talks like a gangster, the way he teaches is heartwarming that would make everyone love his class. Since it was decided that I will attend his class, I proceed to go to Hans's class. Only a few steps would take until I entered but I was stopped the moment three people blocked my way They seemed to be guarding the door's entrance, blocking the other students who is entering the class which I was also having the same treatment. Complaints were heard but I was there, waiting for them to let someone pass. It was then the one big man guarding, looked at me and spoke in a threatening tone. "You, leader said to follow us. You can't enter here because leader is having a teaching lesson from instructor Hans himself." My attention switched to the big guy, who had just spoken. Seeing the big guy who I don't know, I remained standing at my place and decided to speak with him. "I don't give a care who your leader is but why can't I enter? Is your leader some kind of VIP now?" As I said it, the big guy formed a frown and expresses his anger through his voice by saying, "It's Travis. The best archer in this stadium. Why can't you enter? Because he is special and you aren't." Right... Special? Who gives a shit about it? I just wanted to learn and go through the days of being serious about things in this world. If you want to bully someone, please not me. I tilt my head at the side, a gesture that is saying I'm confused. Even so, the three remain in their position, blocking everyone from entering. 'I was going to make an excuse for being late but... this is a good reason.' And, does this guy just submit to another guy for a day? How funny...' I looked around and saw the talk I was having with the big guy, started to get more attention, which I don't like but I knew it couldn't be avoided. "Ok, I will not attend." Since the class isn't available for a certain reason, I turned around to look for a class that I needed to attend which would help but once more, I was stopped by not only one guy but also the other two. "Didn't I say to follow us? The leader said to give you something special." The same guy spoke in a disbelief voice which I found unbelievable. Although my face wasn't visible for them to see, I let them look and made them think I was annoyed... "..." Even so, they seem to be blockheads hence it seemed to not work. For a moment, I was becoming irritated by their antics. Sure, do this kind of thing with me but not when they're a lot of people around. Another thing, they're already adults yet didn't act like one. These bastards... they seemed to want to destroy the quiet living that I was supposed to do for a month. On the other note, I couldn't just let them beat me up by them because of that sole reason. The evaluation I had on Nash would possibly go down, resulting in him kicking me out from the group which I was avoiding in the first place. I glanced at my surroundings and saw students are getting more curious in my direction. They began to gossips about their friends. 'Just one time, Gin. After this, I will not repeat beating other people. Sigh... I promised I won't be back on being delinquent again... I already change...' Helpless, I let out a sigh from my mouth before staring at the three and speak in a sarcastic tone. "So, where will you beat me up?" … From the other people's perspective, it might seem three guys escorting a man from who knows where but it was different from the people who heard the conversation between Gin and the big guys. The ones who knew are interested. 'No... why is it getting larger? Aren't the people supposed to enter one's class now?' Gin mused inwardly while looking at the three escorts. On his front was the big guy who Gin talked with, quickly deducing that he was the leader of the other two, who is guarding him against both sides. Gin was following them silently but he stop when the big guy on his front also stop. He saw the front guy entering a room with him taking a glance at the sign. [Training Ground] 'First time seeing this.' Gin mused before he saw the other two entering inside. Entering, Gin looked at the room's design and nodded in satisfaction. Different types of areas are seen such as sword training area, archer training area, and much more are available inside. Everyone could surmise that it is a place to test your skills as it was enormously big, making everyone move freely inside. In every area, newbies are seen practicing something in each area or putting their skills to the test by fighting the wooden dummies. Fights are seen in some areas but it only seems to be a friendly match. Gin continued to observe and formed a frown on his face as soon as he looked above. It was the same glass from the time when they explained various things. Although he can't see what was on the inside, he knew there was someone there. 'I'll just finish this quickly as possible.' Gin mused inwardly, seeing the design of the training ground. Gin stretch his hand on the air while glancing at the other people, seeing them getting more interested as they stopped doing their activities. Looking at some faces, they had a looked of 'we're going to see someone getting beaten up' or 'something will happen here'. It was such a sight to see. After walking in the middle of the stadium, the people one by one gathered. "We fight here." The leader of the three, spoke with a deep voice. "Ok." Gin replied, unbothered, "So, we fight here and nothing more." "Yes, and the three of us will beat you up." The same guy continued, "Since we're three guys, we'll use our hands to fight. You, on the other hand, will find a weapon you can use. Sounds good?" Gin didn't give any response and proceeded to find himself a weapon. Analyzing things carefully, Gin decided inwardly, 'I'll not use a bow to those guys. I might kill them which is bad. Hmm, is there any weapon available?' In just a span of seconds, Gin quickly finds an answer with him smiling lightly, 'Oh? How about we use it?' He then proceeds to look for his chains in the weapon area and look for a weapon to use to fight the three. At one of the glasses above, Nancy could be seen looking at the training ground with strange eyes. Her aura and expressionless face have weird implications for the people near her to avoid making contact. Nancy didn't even bother them a glance as she was so focused on one man. It was the man who is currently finding a weapon while the majority was watching his movements. 'What is that kid doing here? I thought he's in Hans's class?' Nancy thought inwardly as she watched. "Guild master, are you interested in the fight?" A woman beside Nancy asked in a respectful tone. She had been watching Nancy very keenly and a faint change on her expression was seen when Gin and the other three men had entered. "A little," Nancy answered with a sincerity that made the woman be surprised. Nancy then continued in a slightly loud tone, unbothered by the people looking and hearing her, "Anyway, Emma, did you find some clues yet?" "I'm sorry, guild master. Still nothing." The woman, Emma, dejectedly answered. "I see…" Nancy muttered, "Continue looking please." Emma gives a nod an answer before she looked past the glass, sitting on her seat. Although she was curious why her guild master was having a slight change in her expression, she keep it herself for a moment as she knew she would see it eventually. "Hey! How about a bet? I'll say that man will be beaten to a pulp by those guys?" A man shouted to his friends beside him. "Hah! Sure! We all know that the three guys will win. So let's bet on the outcome. My bet will be his legs and arm broken!" His friend on his left answered enthusiastically. "Ok! My bet will be his head crushed by the three!" The man on his right, joins. "Hah! That's all?! I'll be betting that he will not wake up for a week and had a trauma when he wakes up. No, I think he will be killed by those three!" The same man, who started the bet, shouted. "That sounds fun. Can I join you geezers?" Nancy, who is near them, spoke in an impassive tone. Hearing someone who they thought wouldn't speak with them made them flinch in surprise. They finally saw a chance to talk to her. Heck, they even felt thankful to the guy, who was also thankful for this. But the people above were really glad as they were only doing this for fun, yet it turned into a wonderful blessing. A talk with Nancy! Making connections to her! The three leaders smiled inwardly as the other others quickly surmised what they were doing, resulting in them to be also excited about this chance. "What about the others?" Nancy continued as he glanced half of her head at the people present inside. "Sure!" The people inside unhesitantly answered. "Now, bet who would win and what will be your betting." Nancy calmly said before she decided to speak first, saying, "I'll be betting my five dungeons to all people in this room with the masked guy winning." "…" After dropping a shocking bet, the room became enshrouded with silence. What's even more unbelievable was that she voted the masked guy instead of the three! The others would willing to lose just to have a talk with Nancy but they felt something was off about it. But do they have time to think deeper? No! On Nancy's side, Emma still remained calm and composed state but she was probably the most shocked about hearing this. She was shocked about the bet as they will lose almost their entire dungeon in just a simple bet! The three, who started this thing, shouted the same words inwardly, 'What kind of bet is this?!' Before the three leaders could continue, Nancy quickly added for them to not think deeply about her voting Gin, "You will match my bet, right? If your not it, then, let's not do this." She devilishly smiled inwardly, 'I will squeeze them all dry. Sigh, what a happy day. I should treat Gin later something. If Gin won that is because if not... I'll be the one beating him up instead.' Hearing Nancy's words, the people inside started to shout their bets out loud. Even though they couldn't match her bet, they would make sure it is either lower by one or two. "Betting my two upper-intermediate grade dungeons at the three!" "Betting my Big Eagle at the three!" "Betting my Spatial Pouch at the three!" "Betting my four intermediate grade dungeons at the three!" "Betting my…" The voices of each leader, whether they're guild representatives or a powerful being in the continent, resounded inside the room as they continued to bet the most, if not, the good thing they have in their possessions. Emma, who is sitting beside Nancy, could only watch and hear them as she hopelessly look at her guild master. She sighed out loud as the only thing she couldn't understand is her guild master's process of thinking. Back on the training ground, Gin continuously finding chains he could use for himself when suddenly, he felt shivers run down his spine. 'What is this...?' Gin mused inwardly, feeling something ominous just pass through him, 'Is someone talking behind my back?' If he only knew he was being a choice of Nancy, who bets half of her fortune in this stupid situation. He would really freak out and ask him why the hell is she like that. If he only knew... 'My luck is really bad today. No chains are here...' Gin hopelessly mused as he scratches his head in annoyance before he narrowed his eyes at one of the instructors that are present. He could see chains on the instructor's side but it was much more different from the ones he used when he was training with Hans. It was the kind of chains that is used to arrest someone. Gin was reluctant but he knew choosing a weapon he didn't know would be disadvantageous. With that decision in mind, he then quickly runs to that said instructor and respectfully asks him to borrow it. The instructor forms a questioning face before he gives the item with a suspicious gaze. Clang! The instructor thought someone would be arrested but to his surprise, he saw Gin putting the chains on... himself. "Thanks, mister." Gin thanked as he watched the metal, wrapped around his wrist, with the chain connected onto the metal. After putting it on his wrist, he didn't waste more time and proceed to go to his initial position earlier, facing the three big guys. Standing, Gin waited for them to move but he saw them just only laughing at him. They felt like it was an easy fight as the chains were supposed to restrict his enemies but they saw it was Gin doing unnecessary to himself. "Hahahahaha! Are we on a comedy show? You'll be beaten up, kid! Hahaha!" The guy at right on Gin's perspective, ridiculed. He could see that the chains are slightly longer as he deduct that it is two meters wide but he could see Gin was just unbothered by it. "Let's start. I don't have all day." Gin spoke calmly. The three guys then stopped laughing and thought that Gin was too calm in this situation, leading them on one thought. The three guys stop laughing and thought that Gin is just joking with them. "You must think of us as a joke, huh." Gin didn't answer and formed a fighting stance while the three does the same. "..." The three started at Gin's eyes for a moment before they started to run at him like wild dogs.
