22 Chapter 22 - Mason

Even though I’m keeping my face expressionless, I mentally smile to myself as I feel Kane and Porsche’s link form with our pack. I know that it is only a matter of time before Kane becomes a part of our pack. However, I don’t know what has taken Wyatt so long to do the ceremony. I couldn’t help but to take a peek into his mind while Kane was training. I know that Kane has no intention of going back to his old pack and he loves it here. He even likes training with me.

However, I have to keep my mind clear and focus on the business meeting. Wyatt won’t be happy if I mess this project up. I look across the conference table at an older gentleman along with his middle-aged son. They both seem to be calm. However, the middle-aged son has a few drops of sweat forming on his forehead, which is often a sign that something else is going on here.
