The flight to the Savage lands wasn't very difficult in fact things were going very smoothly which by comic logic meant that something was wrong. I don't know what it is yet but I was certain it was going to be a pain in the ass. Traveling through the Savage lands was like going to Jurassic Park only I was pretty much bored after ten minutes and Luka didn't care at all. Sure it is interesting to watch the dinosaurs roam around in their natural habitat looking majestic but that is kinda unimpressive considering the world we live in.

Eventually we actually stumbled across a vein of vibranium without meeting any of the locals. The comics made it seem like you would instantly bump into them the moment you entered the Savage lands. I used my psychic power to scope out the area to ensure that there wasn't any nearby locals hiding in the shadows. When I still had yet to find anything I just brought out the mech and had Luka get to work. Our work went uninterrupted for two whole days before someone finally showed up. A woman wearing a bikini-loincloth riding a saber tooth tiger holding a spear.

Spear woman: Who are you and why have you come to the Savage lands?

"I am Julian Black and my associate is Luka currently piloting the large mining machine. As for why we're here it should be very apparent that we are here to acquire the vibranium in this rich vein. Now that I have introduced myself and my associate could you please introduce yourself as it is only good manners"

Shanna: I am Shanna O'Hara Queen of the Savage lands and you are currently stealing from me!

I immediately signaled Luka to halt what she was doing although technically we already gathered more than enough. I would still prefer to be able to return and not be marked as a thief. The fact that she was out front lowered my guard but the moment she announced herself as a queen had me scanning the area. I found that there were a few battalions nearby hidden from sight but not from my psychic power.

"I am sorry Queen Shanna we had no idea that this place belongs to anyone in particular had we known we would have sought out your permission. Is there anything we could do in restitution to make up for this egregious error on our behalf."

She began to stare at me very hard trying to determine if I was being genuine before making her decision.

"I know that this is rather shameless but is there also any way we can buy the vibranium that we already excavated as we are in need of it"

Seeing that I truly intended to acquire the vibranium legitimately rather than absconding with what we have already acquired she seemed to relax. Even though she had yet to have her troops arrest us removed most of the attention along with the fact that I recognized her tittle rather than ignoring it and acknowledge her claim to the land.

Shanna: We can discuss this at the city you will come with me

Luka: And why would...

I held up my hand signaling her to stop

"I am sorry Queen Shanna for Luka's outburst. Please understand that she meant no offense it's just that she is concerned with our safety"

Shanna: Understood. Know that because of your cooperation you and your associate shall be treated as guest until you prove otherwise

"We thank you for your generous hospitality and hope not to offend you or your people"

With that we were led back to the city as her escort made themselves known.
