Shortly after the infamous Pamela Isley left and I barely had time to get a drink Cortana informed me that there was once again someone at the door. I wasn't even surprised this time as I had expected for someone to show up after Pamela's visit. I was even certain that there were probably supers waiting nearby in case something happened. Some probably hoped that an incident would occur to give them a legitimate excuse to poke around for my "safety".

Answering my door yet again I greeted with a familiar yet unexpected face of Superman. One of the first individuals that I met with when I first arrived. It had been months since that time at least he had the decency to look embarrassed after handing me over to the Government and not checking up on my situation.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of the extremely busy Superman to finally decide to check up on me?"

Superman: I deserve that I should have tried to keep a better eye on you as you were a foreigner in a strange land and I just left you to the government unlike I had done for others in the past.

"Yes, I have looked into that and wondered why I received such different treatment considering your history with other space travelers"

Superman: I have no reasonable excuse I should have been there I am deeply sorry for that

"I know that you didn't fly all the way over just for an apology about the lack of courtesy. So why exactly are you here?"

Superman: For what it is worth I am truly sorry but you are right I didn't just come to apologize I wanted to know how you knew about the Martian civilization on Mars

"So the green xeno is from Mars then... but his appearance doesn't match exactly is a hybrid of some sort?"

Superman: He is a shape-shifting alien not a hybrid he has altered his form to be be less intimidating to humans

"Intriguing and to answer your question it was hard not to notice them as their psychic presence is massive. Although one would need to actively reach out to try and feel for life on Mars to notice it. Which is what I did to scan for life once I got close enough in my ship"

Superman: Then did you go to meet with them?

"Of course not as that wasn't the purpose of my flight I was scouting for lifeless and uninhabited locations to conduct research. Although how come you came directly to me for answers? I haven't released this information to the public and only informed three individuals that were with me. I have yet to hear from any news organizations about this confidential information so how do you know?"

Superman one of if not the mightiest of all earths heroes a perfect boy scout on par with Captain America was unused to deception (outside of hiding his secret identity). Which is why after Bruce revealed the troubling information about Jonn he went directly to the source to confirm this himself. This had led to him inadvertently exposing the Justice League as having a mole, secretly spying or one of those at the meeting was a Justice League member. If Superman suspected that I was thinking the last option then simple deduction would expose Bruce. Tony Stark was well known as Iron man and Lex Luthor was a known antagonist to the Justice League leaving Bruce as the only one left.

Batman: Because I was watching you

Appearing out of the shadows at exactly the right time to cover for Superman's slip.

"That doesn't seem like a valid excuse to me how exactly were you able to get close enough to listen. I know that you didn't get past Cortana digitally as you have attempted to multiple times already and failed"

Cortana has already informed me about the hole in the security in the form of outside devices. She could have easily blocked it but I intentionally left that open to leak information. I couldn't leave this hole forever though as it was too obvious as I new to the world. Such a mistake could be an oversight early on but not indefinitely.
