10 Elven Kingdom pt.2

I had a nightmare about my past again...I could feel something weighing on my body. As I opened my eyes to look at who was on me I saw Kayla.

"Wake up! Grandpa Marek wants to see you!" Kayla said happily.

"Ugh…Can you get off my body so I can sit up." I sighed in relief once she was off of me.

"Alan and Grandpa are waiting downstairs." She told me.

"Okay, I'll be right there in a sec, let me get dressed. You can wait for me outside." I said back.

"Don't take so long." She said while walking out of the room.

As I took a shower and got dressed I went downstairs. I saw that grandpa, Alan, and Kayla were all at the dining table. When Alan saw me he smiled and waved.

'Papa I'm hungry, let's go eat.' I could hear Aria's stomach growl.

"Hahaha, yea, let's go eat." I grinned at Aria.

Stepping in the dining room Aria hopped off my shoulder and ran to Kayla. Aria has grown quite fond of Kayla and Alan in these past few weeks.

I went and sat down next to Alan, the maids gave me a plate of crepes and strawberries with some bacon on the side. Aria ran right towards me and grabbed the bacon.

"Hey!" I reached for the bacon that Aria grabbed and began a tug-of-wars over a piece of bacon.

Everyone stared at me and started laughing. Eventually we both settled on having half of the bacon.

"Finish up your breakfast, we will be going to meet with Aldith." Grandpa Marek told us as he stood up.

"Oh, I have to tell my parents that I am here in one piece, can I borrow a communication scroll?" I asked.

"Sure." Grandpa Marek handed me a scroll from his pocket.

I grabbed the scroll and began to write on it. There are two different kinds of communication scrolls, the first one is when you say a person's name and then you can see the person. It's

like when you facetime someone on a phone but without the button. You just picture what they look like and say their name. The second kind is like a letter, you write something you want to say to a person then you write the person's name at the end and the words will disappear from the scroll, sending what you want to say to that person. These scrolls can be used more than once.

As I finished writing the letter to my parents the words slowly disappeared and then I handed the scroll back to grandpa Marek.

"I'm done, let's go." I said to Marek.

We traveled into the woods to a little hut, 'I guess this is where Aldith lives.' Grandpa knocked on the door and then an old lady opened.

"What do you want Marek I- Oh, I see you brought children this time Marek." She said while looking at us.

"Yes, we are here to do some business, mostly here for August." He pointed me out to Aldith.

"Ah, okay. Let's go go ahead inside, stop standing outside." She gestured her hand inside the small hut.

"Let's sit at the table, it's better if you sit and talk." She said while pulling out a chair.

Taking a seat on the wooden chair we began to talk about our adventure then at the end, my beast will.

"Awakening your beast will, will take a year or so." Marek said while deep in thought.

"After awakening your will it will also take a long time till you fully control it…" Aldith added in, aslo deep in thought.

"Also adding that I will need to go back home in 2 years…" I also added.

"This will be quite difficult but I think that you can do it even after you leave, I will tell you what you have to do before you leave Esmond..." Marek said looking back up.

Looking up at Marek wondering why he stopped talking, by looking at his face you could tell that he was deep in thought, but then he spoke up again.

"Alright, we should go back. August, you will be coming with me to work on your core and beast will." He said to me.

"Okay." 'Finally! The day he was waiting for, it took so long to come here but finally it's happening.'

As both me and Marek walked separate ways of Alan and Kayla we waved goodbye.

Me and grandpa Marek both went to the training building a few miles away from the castle. Stepping into the training ground you could see it was pretty big, at least as big as a football field. With weapon racks on one side and archery ranges on the other side, at the very back there was a room which I think was the meditating room and magic practicing room; leaving a somewhat big space in the middle of the whole field for combat and magic training.

We settled in the field and he began to tell me the basics of how to awaken my will.

Step 1: Breathe in as much as you can and try to insert your mana into your core at the same time

Step 2: Breathe out and and connect the flow of your mana that is coming out with your MB

Step 3: Use the surrounding and insert your mana into your core again

Step 4: Focus on the flow of mana between you and your bond, by doing this it will create new passageways in your body. These passageways in your body that you recently created will be the "tunnels" for your beast will to flow inside of.

I did this for a few hours, I couldn't take a break in between because it would break my connection with Aria and that will destroy my "tunnels" which will lead to my mana core breaking which is pretty bad if I do say so myself.

As soon as I felt my last tunnel being done building I let out a shaky sigh.

"Good job brat, we will be working on your core tomorrow. Rest up well tonight." He rose up and walked off ahead of me.

"Let's go Ari." I said while standing up.

She jumped on my shoulders and we went off into our room.

The next few days weren't so different, Kayla and Alan started to work on their combat training with me and grandpa Marek.

Grandpa Marek started to teach me new techniques using the sword while also trying to practice controlling my will at the same time. Marek isn't a seer so he couldn't really teach me magic so Aldith took over for him for the magic part of my training.

As Aldith taught me more and more about magic, I could tell that she was at least at silver core. Her control with wind and water magic is amazing, she is also a deviant so that meant that she could turn wind into sound and water into plant magic.

Even though I could practically control all the elements, I want to get more advanced so I can be a deviant.

It took Aldith at least 5 years to fully control one of the elements but she says that I was a fast learner so I could do it faster than her…

Maybe I should practice more, it doesn't hurt to try and practice more. After I thought about this a little more I decided that I would extend my time on training. If I do I could purify more mana core faster.
