4 Awakening
2 years have passed, now I'm 3 years old.
Sitting on the cold wooden floor reading my books as usual, this time I was reading a book called: Awakening your core. I knew that normal kids usually awaken at 11 but why not give it a try?
Usually kids in my old world "awakened" at almost the same time as this world, but we had a different way of trying to awaken then this book said.
The way the book said is to try to feel your mana core, a bright ball in your body that holds your mana, you breathe in and try to feel the mana go inside- breathe out and feel the mana flow out. I tried to do it this way but it didn't work so I tried how I did it before in my old world.
The same first step; breathe in and feel your core, breathe out and feel the mana flow through your passageways in your body. Breathe in again until you can't breathe in anymore, when you breathe in try to picture colorful light and a white dot, when you breathe out try to connect the lines to the white dot.
Now I sat here 4 times and on my 5th I finally connected all the lines together with the white speck then I heard a big explosion a few feet in front of me.
"AUGUST!" my mother screamed
As I opened my eyes I found myself in the middle of a crater, seeing my father and mother in disbelief.
"I can't believe our son has awakened…" my father said with a mix of concern and surprise in his voice.
"..." my mother couldn't believe it, she must have been super surprised.
'This didn't happen before' I thought to myself in surprise. Maybe it's because things are a bit different here...yea, that might be the answer.
Few hours later…:
"What will we do?" My mother said in concerned.
"We will have to take him to a tutor." My father said in a certain tone.
"It will be too dangerous for him!" My mother said worried.
"Aug, what do you think?" My father asked.
"Why don't just wait until I am old enough?" I asked questionably.
I never thought that I needed a tutor or even a teacher because my parents are already powerful since they are S ranked adventures and are plenty wealthy…
"Maybe...I think it's best if we train him first and wait until he's old enough then we will move to Eden." My father said seriously.
"That sounds good, we will wait a few more years then." My mother said relieved.
Good, maybe I will try to purify my core these few years. I think this is the best choice even though I want to be an adventurer.
"We will train starting tomorrow, I will teach you some sword strikes here and there, and your mother will teach you some magic." My father confirmed.
As I went to sleep I kept thinking about tomorrow; 'I just can't wait to see if I can pick up some tricks from fighting my father' It's not like I never held a sword in my previous life; I was a king after all! How can you be a king without knowing the way of the sword and magic?
Oh well, I guess tomorrow I will deal with the things that tomorrow will bring.
