5 Where am I?

"It's Dark. It's cold." I open my eyes I see a white ceiling and a capsule lid.

I hear the sound of ventilation some kind of low noise like a far off motor. I'm on a ship. Not rocking, so not on a water planet. Great.

Then I heard it "Augh. I hate hyper sleep" I sat up.

I was in a unit with 9 other pods one was a small pod. Looks like it could hold a soccer ball.

"Alright come on Eddie lets get grub started for when the others wake up."

then it came to me. I was a working my passage back to earth from the, the, well I came from somewhere but now I can't seem to remember. It must be a side effect from the hyper sleep. My crew mates are:

I don't have much information on them. But I must say they seems familiar. Probably from something that was considered a cult classic that I never watched in full but saw in parts. I still don't get the cat. I get up and get dressed following out of the transit quarters into the main area of the ship and star the meal. In a few minuets the others begin to arrive. I put coffee out for those who want it.

After the meal we head up to the command bridge Ripley begins to broadcast to Antarctic Traffic control. Then we find that we are not any where close to Earth. Mother the artificial intelligent is telling us 'She' picked up a repeating audio signal. We are unfortunately unable to translate it in to our own computer language at this time. Ash informs us that we have to go down to the planet and check it out other wise we give up our share of the profit from this run. I don't care either way as I'm working my way over and not getting paid.

We launch the Nostromo towards the planet. It an interesting ride. I feel like we should have died. We took 'hull damage' inside the ship as no leaks were detected. Once on the ground the captain ordered Kane, Lambert, and I to accompany him to the derelict spacecraft to discern what happened and shut off the beacon.

The walk over was a bit strange. At first it was nice although it was a bit foggy. But then the wind began to pick up causing bit of grit to go flying through the air. The closer we got the the alien craft the more worrisome Lambert began to act. Captain Dallas was able to get her to calm down where I could not and we continued onward.

Eventualy we made it to the ship once inside I noted that it looked strangely organic. No sharp edges, no strait lines. Eventually we made it to the source of the signal. There was a giant skeleton just siting there. It had a hole in its chest that was blasted outwards.

"You know Lambert this guy kind of reminds me of a turtle I had back home."

"What are you talking about Eddie how does this look like a turtle."

"Well-"

Kane interrupted me with. "Hey you guys come check this out. Its like a cave or something."

"What have you got Kane?"

"I don't know Captain."

so we all go over. Kane volunteers himself to go first. We hook him up the a recovery rope. He then proceeds to climb down. He talks about the mist. Then he falls down scaring the crap out of us.

"there is something alive down here." the last words we heard form Kane

He then screamed portraying to us that something bad happened. The Captain then ordered me down to check on him.

He had a face huger on his face.

Shit I'm in an Aliens universe. I hope this is one of the later ones that way I have a chance at life.

I proceed to watch my surrounding and check on Kane. His helmet is currently damaged and fused to his suit. Other than that he can pull through if we can get the eggs out in time. I cover his face plate with some duct tape the keep the remainder of his air in.

"Alright guys reel him in. we need to get him back to the ship ASAP. So I can get this thing off him."

I think I heard a reply but I'm not sure, Kane started to raise off the floor. I began to climb up. Then it happened. More Eggs started to pop open. "Ahh. Shit ShitShitSHit got to get out of here like now people."

I climbed up as quick as I could, it was faster than the reel could go and I wanted out now. I got about 3 feet from the top when a face huger launched and got me on my back side. I slipped in my startlement falling back the way I came. Once at the end of my tether I felt a tug and then I was spinning like a tea cup at the state fair on time-laps. It looked like the D-ring in the suite broke off.

I then saw another face huger leaping at me. Flying through the air. It got my face this time. I felt a large impact to my head at an angle. The face huger went splat. I was so excited for a brief moment, before I realized my helmet was melting, I was upside down with my foot tangled in something, and I couldn't get away in time. My face fell in to the binary acid.
