waking up to laughter can be considered as foreshadowing especially when there should be only one. "I really don't want to know do I."
"But you do. I made a bet with another SUPREME BEING!"
SB just had to shout that last bit with extra depth to his statement.
"Just call me Mike" said Mike
Off to the side of SB was another guy he seemed kind of chill and a bit dopey.
"I'll have you know I don't do drugs. Life just likes to mess with me so I have learned to roll with it"

So... SB You said something about a bet?"
I got SB's mind out of the gutter, or where ever it was. "Oh yeah. So I contacted a few of my, well lets call them 'Friends', to watch your last life."
"You know that's a little harsh when you don't know what to call us. We have know each other since the paleolithic period." Interjected Call me Mike.
"No its just 'Mike' four letters, that's it" Interjected Mike
"That's better" complimented Mike towards the author.
Every one else is looking at mike as if he was going mad. "I'm not crazy, I can just hear a voice inside my head that says every thing I say with descriptions of what's going on if its important.

"As I was saying I had a bet with 9 of my friends to see when you would die. I said less than 2 days. Mike bet within the first week. Every one else was betting one a time frame after the first alien hatched. Well this time it didn't. When you died Lambert and Dalas dropped Kane in their panic causing Kane to squish his face hugger as well melting his head. Lambert and Dalas were scared off their rocker and booked it back to the ship after taking photographic evidence of your demise using a camera of a stick. Once back at the ship they waited out the 24 hour quarantine then proceeded to fix the ship. Once docked with their cargo back in space they launch a beacon that declared the planet extremely hostile due to acid spiting fauna.
They eventually made it to earth with no hitchhikers. Saving 6 people and a cat. Originally there was only supposed to be 1 survivor. You got 520 points for that. 15 years later an expedition was launched to study the fauna through the use of violent criminals who were sentenced to death row. The first 5 years were for planing the last 10 were for training the criminals in how to be a researcher. Of the 500 sent down over a 10 year period and after the base was destroyed 18 times scientist were able to create a variety of materials and material sciences just from the alien and there acid. They were also able to create a better sleep capsule through studying the face huggers and the egg. These improvements lead to better ships with faster transit times. The Karma System deemed it fitting to give you 8000 points for scientific advancement. It also gave you 8 points for having you name incorporated in the Aliens new designation as a Kadaver. It took 25 years but eventually scientists were able to create a scanner that was readily able to trace a Kadaver. It was a good thing too. These scanners were then incorporated in to all observational satellites, scouts, and interdiction vessels. It was found that the Kadaver was good at playing opossum and found on several planets and space stations each showing a large increase of Violent crime and missing persons cases, later to be found out as Kadavers.
Due to the scanners incorporation throughout the Human fleet the rest of the alien movies didn't happen and resurrection took place in a smaller facility that was located in space with most of the people participating remotely. Eventually the station was sanitized anyway.
Over all you were awarded 9371 KP for your last go round due to all of the things that happened. Within 100 years directly related to your death and discovery of the Kadaver. You didn't get any for Resurrection as it was too many years out. You also got some KP from the bets made."
I was over whelmed and said the first thing that came to me. "Well that was a surprise."
"But wait it gets better. We are going to place our champions with you in your next life and bet to see who makes it the longest. All of you will be background characters no one will be a main character, and you cant tell anyone what's going on."
Pacing back and forth I reiterate my understanding of what's going to happen next. "Ok so you and your 10 'Friends' are going to place a champion of your choice in the world I go to next and bet on who lives the longest."
Mike fills in the confusion "Actually its just you and 9 others the being who survives the longest gets half the pot. The losers get to split half of the remainder. The last quarter goes back to the system as taxes. We also have our champions selected. But we wont tell you who they are. We also wont tell them who you are. They each get to pick their own starting situation, but wont have knowledge of where they are going to end up. Be really funny if one of them picks a star ship pilots licence and ends up in the middle ages. You still get or lose KP for doing things as usual. That pretty much sums it up."

SB looks excited. "That's what ever was bet. All bets are split. Half goes in the pot, the other half goes in to the betting pool, not to be confused with the pot.

I begin to spin all the wheels as fast as I can. It almost sounds like im surrounded by 30 giant angry chattering chipmunks. Anyone seen Monty Python Search for the holly grail. Just look for the Rabbit scenes and combine the two. That's what I felt like.
