4 CH004 My time at Yancy Academy

Arriving at the private school, my first impression weren't exactly great. The first thing I witnessed was Percy and Grover being pelted by peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwiches coming from the bus. What followed them off the bus was probably Nancy, Percy's personally bully for the time he is here till summer when things go haywire.

Thinking I better introduce myself to them I walked up behind Nancy and grabbed her hand as she reached back to pelt another sandwich towards the boys heads.

As she turned around to look at me I leant down getting next her ear. "Why don't you scram and take your sandwiches somewhere else and eat them instead of wasting them, I hate people that waste food."

As she made eye contact with me and looked into my blue eyes, a shiver ran through her whole body and she tensed up with fear. Unknown to those around us beside Grover as he could feel what I was doing, I was putting pressure on her with my aura alone.

She nodded her head and scrambled to get away from me. Watching her leave I turned back to Percy and Grover and smiled. "Now that the bi**h is gone, it's nice to meet you my names Cody, I was invited to study here by Mr. Brunner."

Off to the side I could see Grover sigh in relief and his shoulders loosened like a heavy weight was taken off his shoulders. Guess the monsters where starting to get to him. Percy introduced himself, however he had to rush off as the bell had rung to signify classes starting soon and he didn't want to be late again with mrs Dodds on the loose. Watching him leave as he pulled Grover along with him I watched as they disappeared into the school. After they left I took a deep breath in and immediately smelt 2 different distinct smell of monsters around the school. I wonder what the second monster was going to be.

Anyway I made my way into the admin building to get everything sorted and I started my day.

Few weeks later:

I had found the monster on my second day of school and boy did he smell bad, he was also the PE teacher and he kept a very close eye on Grover and Percy, he mustn't of found out about me yet as he paid no attention to me or the rest of the class during PE period. Which was kinda fun as we mainly just played around and the gym junkies bought out weight sets from the storage room as an excuse to study different muscle groups. Amateurs, at least say your working on an assignment about different muscle systems, that's at least closer to what we're studying.

Anyway back to the teacher, he was big, not fit big but heavy big. I don't know how he got a job in a fitness related position, but he musta pulled some hella moves with the mist or something to trick the principle to let him work here, maybe he had help from the fury, wait are the two even working together because so far I haven't smelt any sort of interaction between the two here on campus. Anyway I think he is a cyclops but I haven't learnt any magic tricks to peer through the mist yet so I can only guess at the moment.

Maybe something have changed with me being here already.

Anyway, school was actually fun since I didn't have to worry about paying attention during class since I knew we would be leaving soon, and just like in the stories the trip to the museum was coming up soon, and surprisingly the second monster still hadn't made a move on Percy and Grover. Anyway today was the day that we would be going on the field trip, and not to my surprise, but to Grover's demise both monsters where on the trip as well as mr Brunner.

And everything went the same, Nancy throwing food, albeit at another student, as I sat in the seat behind Percy and Grover. Kids yelling throughout the whole ride, mrs Dodds staring at Percy and the PE teacher sweating up a storm at the front of the bus.

Arriving at the museum I noticed Mrs Dodd moving over to Nancy and speaking into her ear. I watched as her eyes glazed over and then came back into focus, hmm I wonder what she is planning.

Moving through the museum Chiron can clearly be seen picking Percy multiple times about Greek history. And every correct answer Chiron gained a smile, however out of the corner of my eye I noticed Mrs Dodds and the PE teacher both making eye contact, as if talking to each other. I guessed something was happening soon.

We moved on and soon lunch time came around so Grover, Percy and I moved off to the side and sat with our backs to a fountain in the middle of the yard outside the museum. Then I saw it happening, the start to Percy's new life and my new adventure I had been training for. Nancy. Nancy made her way over with her posse of girls, sneers on the faces and heads held high looking down at us.

"Well we'll we'll, the two cripples and the retard, what a fitting trio."

I just sat there and watched as Percy got angrier and angrier with every word she said, in the corner of my eye I watched as the water behind us trembled, surged upwards and shot towards Nancy and her group, completely drenching them and knocking them over, Nancy seemed to come out of whatever spell The fury put on her as she looked around wondering where she was and why she was wet until she looked at us before her.

"MRS DODDS, PERCY PUSHED ME IN THE FOUNTAIN!!!"

And just like the bat she was, she swooped down from her spot on the stairs and stood before us. Her eyes gleaming with satisfaction.

"Mr Jackson, follow me please we shall discuss your punishment elsewhere." Moving off she pointed Nancy to the closest gift shop to buy another shirt, as they disappeared into the museum again I saw the second monster moving off from the group and entering from the opposite side of the museum, they must be wanting to meet up in the middle to trap him.

I pushed Grover to go and get Chiron while I moved over to the entrance of the building the second monster entered through. Moving through the museum I could hear the voice of Mrs Dodds screeching at Percy and a low voice making incomprehensible noises muffling her voice making the words incomprehensible.
