2 CH002 'Meeting and Fixing a Mistake'

"Welcome poor soul, to the next stage in your life"

Looking up my vision was met with a Beautiful lady dressed in white nun clothes, large golden and pure white wings spread from her back and a warm light showered down from behind her.

"Who are you"

Unknown being: "I am the spirit that watches over souls and their transitions"

After looking around and thinking, I asked 'the' question "So does that mean I died in that accident."

A crestfallen face came over the spirit,

"You young soul where not meant to die at 18 in that accident, you were meant to live a long and joyful life filled with friends, family and wealth, unfortunately the spirit that watches over the environment exerted some of her power trying to deal with the rising global warming, you in turn where hurt because of that storm that formed when they weren't watching. However, you are not dead, yet, your body is still alive but it is in a critical condition that would leave you crippled for life if you were to return."

"Were to return?"

Spirit: "Yes, for our mistake and changing your fate drastically, we would like to offer you a new chance at life in another world as we can't let you go back to yours and change your fate as the timeline has already split from this accident and changed paths, However the only thing we as spirits can allow you to control in your new life is your appearance, family, starting point and destination, and a small wish to help aid you in your new life, the universe you are going to must be randomly selected in case fate still has a plan ready for your new life."

"How could fate already have a plan for me"

Spirit: "Even I cant help you find an answer with that, fate works in mysterious ways"

"well how do we find out what world I'm being sent to?" Looking around, I don't know if she is seeing something I'm not but we're still in a blank space.

Spirit: smiling, "With this of course." The spirit turns and gestures like a women on a game show and a large wheel materialised into existence. "With this spinning wheel, fate will be able to guide you into the world that it has seen you living a fulfilled life in."

"ok, well then, I was expecting something more, ahhh"

Spirit: "More like what"

"well something more complicated then a roulette wheel to decide where I'll be spending the rest of my next life in."

Spirit: "Oh don't worry the wheels is always maintained and oiled so there shouldn't be a problem with it."

I looked sceptically at the spirit, however I slowly made my way to the wheel.

Grasping the rung I looked at the wheel faces however the writing were all blurred out, I looked towards the spirit with a questioning face.

Spirit: "To make it more of a surprise when you learn your new world!"

Looking back I reached higher and grasped the rung, pulling it down with all I had the wheel started to quickly spin, I guess now we wait.

IT SPUN FOR A WHOLE HOUR!!!

Jk, I don't know how long it spun but it took forever to finally show some signs of it slowing down. And as it got slower the ticking noise of the marker on each of the faces got louder, and louder until it stopped, looking at the wheel I waited for the worlds name to unblur and find out what world I was going to.

Spirit: "Well let's see where you are going now."

As she moved her hand over the words it started to unblur.

'Percy Jackson and the Olympians'. The world of Gods with alter egos and demigods fighting monsters daily to survive.

"Oh I actually know a bit about this world, or movie and books so I should say."

Spirit: "Excellent then we can move right on to the next step where and when do you want to appear in this world."

"I would like to appear on half blood hill just outside of camp half-blood, about a year before Percy gets there."

Spirit: "Ok," and she swished her hand "Done, now let's move onto your family."

"Actually can I not have a family I don't think I would be able to love them like my family back in my old world, it would feel like living with strangers."

The spirit just smiled sadly at me an said "that can be arranged, you will have parents in this world, that is necessary for your soul and body to be connected to your universe however I can make you an orphan and give you a backstory of living on the streets and forest if that what you would like."

"Yes please." There was another swish of her hand

"And now for my appearance, hmm can I have some more time to think about it."

She nodded.

Sitting down for a few minutes I can up with a rough sketch of what I would like to look like, "are you able to make me look like what I'm thinking about?"

The spirit concentrated "Yes I can, but are you sure you want to look like that, I don't know how people are going to react to your new body's but it would help with your backstory and making it more believable."

"I'll be fine." Hopefully.

Spirit: "Ok then it will be done" and once again she swished her hand. "Now for your gift before we send you off into your new life, as long as it's within my power I'll try and give it to you, what would you like."

"Well I was wondering if there was anyway you can help boost or increase my learning ability and make me adept in everything, so like if I tried blacksmithing it wouldn't take long for me to learn it or learning to wield a weapon it doesn't take long for me to be a master swordsman or bowman."

The spirit made a thoughtful pose and hummed, "Give me one moment I'll talk to the spirit of learning and education and see if they can help me with empowering your wish, they are much more suited to help with this request." The spirit stilled and seem to freeze like a statue, staying like this I began to think of how my life would be in the new world, would I join Percy on his quest, or would I just keep training myself for the wars and battles to come so I don't get killed, for a second time, maybe I should ask to see if I can make one of my 'parents' to be a god. Hmm but which god should it be.

As I was thinking the spirit awoke and smiled, being amused at my thoughts. "Ahem, your wish shall be granted."

Pulling me out of my thoughts I thanked her and said I'm ready to start my new life, I didn't ask her about the parent thing as I didn't have a clue who could be a good godly parent for my new body, and I'll just have to wait and see if what I look like is as badass as I pictured in my head.

"Well I don't really have anything else to ask, so when do I leave?"

Spirit: "Right Now!"

Then I blacked out.

After some time I felt grass beneath me and my back leaning against a tree of some sorts, opening my eyes, I was met with the view of a lush forest, with a highway winding through it. hearing a noise of a twig breaking, my ears flickered and my head spun in the direction of the noise. What I saw left me giddy with excitement.

Before me was a centaur, being followed by a small group of people with armour and swords and a satyr in the back of the group.

Centaur: "Well your, not a normal satyr, what or who are you and how did you get inside the barrier?"
