Chapter 5

"Three dozen kunai, shuriken a dozen explosive tags, some dried foods, ninja wires."

Naruto again checked his things before going to the training ground, for his genin test.

His shadow clones were already in the training ground transformed into things to give help when he would need.

As far as he knew Kakashi was an ass. And he would very likely try to humiliate them. So, no thanks. He decided he was not going to get analy probed by Kakashi. For all he cared he wouldn't mind if Kakashi were to use that on Sasuke.

'It will probably help him take out the stick out of his ass.... probably.'

He was preparing for the exam and show what he could do. He could always go to his Hokage grandpa and ask to help him. Jokes aside.

'That aside today's morning is giving me a good feeling.' He smiled as he locked the door of his apartment. Only two shadow clones were transformed, hiding inside his apartment. And yes he knew how Hiruzen and Kakashi entered his apartment using Genjutsu. And so there were also two shadow clones hiding around his apartment.

Being the weapon of the village ment almost no privacy. Talk about... He decided to keep calm.

One of the advantages of Using shadow clones was how fast he could improve his skills. After using that many shadow clones he had mastered most of the things he should. The only exception was the academy clone jutsu. For some reason he simply couldn't use it, even while his chakra control was good enough to run on water subconsciously.

His shadow clones and he had decided to make what he knew more. So combining them he had few moves under his sleeves that were very much life saving, fast and tricky. And all that not even talking about the brute force part. He could make hundreds of shadow clones without much effort and while putting effort that would reach thousands in number.

The only thing he would need were few ninjutsus. Especially long range ones. With his chakra amount he would be able to make them much stronger and dangerous.

While thinking about making a Tornado to destroy his enemies Naruto reached the training ground. He was just at the time when Kakashi had told them to come.

There were two reasons for him coming at the time Kakashi said. First, it was ordered by a superior. Another reason was Kakashi was an ass, and he could see Kakashi not wait in the shadow and come out instead of being late for hours. That way he would be late and very likely failed the exam, too.

His teammates looked like they would fall anytime. He didn't mind that. He sat under a tree and decided to meditate. Naruto wanted to read books but that would catch Sakura's attention, he was pretty sure of it.

'For now take good care of your dear Sasuke kun.' There was a reason Naruto never thought of trying to make Sakura fall for him. Because Sakura Haruno brainwashed herself to love Sasuke. And it was more than love Sasuke was her future, her life, her goal, she was just too obsessed with Sasuke. After all in canon she was even willing to leave the village, her parents, her friends all for Sasuke.

'And even after all the shit Sasuke will do she will still go to him with open arms.' Naruto felt like snorting in laughter because after marriage Sasuke was away from her most of time, to the point he wasn't even about to recognize his own daughter. Even though it was from canon timeline. Naruto decided to stop thinking about it.

'When will the bastard come..'

Sakura Haruno stared star struck at Sasuke. They were in the same team. And after the exam, which Sasuke and her would pass, they would become a team Together.

And no one would be able to stop it. Not that Ino pig or that bitch Ami.

She glanced at the blonde dumbass and stopped herself from frowning. As a charming lady she could not let herself frown, especially in front of her beloved Sasuke.

The dead last was different. For the entire day at the team selection day he hadn't talked to her. Not that she cared. She was happy that that numbskull was not making problems fir her.

But only if their Sensei came at the right time and not make them wait for another few hours. She was hungry. Not only that she was even on diet and didn't even eat a lot the previous night.

'WHERE IS THAT MASKED WEIRDO! I WANT TO SMASH MY FIST ON HIS FACE.' Even her inner self agreed with her.

Hunger was also making her feel more irritated. To the point she was thinking about punching Naruto to get some satisfaction out of it. The same Naruto she could see sleeping... under a tree.

Sakura wanted to rush over and smack him. Wake him up, and shout at him that they had a survival test.

But having quite time with her Sasuke kun made her rethink about it. She was not going to let the opportunity slide out of her hand. She was at least going to make Sasuke more interested in her. Even have small conversation with her....

'5 hours! 5 FUCKING HOURS!' Sakura screamed in her mind. They were there for five hours, the sun was now almost on top of their head and no sign of their jonin sensei.

Sakura felt like she was going to explode. She felt hungry. She felt irritated that Sasuke didn't even bother looking at her. Naruto bastard still sleeping under the tree like nothing happened. All the while...She wanted to scream and curse at their bastard of a sensei.

Not only that all her attempts to get Sasuke's attention and talking with him failed.

"Good morning." She looked up hearing the voice. There stood there so called Sensei like he wasn't hours late.

"YOU ARE LATE!" Sakura realised it was her who was shouting. Then stopped herself and looked at her beloved Sasuke to see his reaction.

She was relieved to see Sasuke not caring about it. She didn't care that Naruto was standing with them now that their Sensei was there.

"Don't mind the small stuff." 5 hours of waiting was not small stuff.

"Here, you have to get these two bells before the alarm rings." Kakashi said as he put down a clock. In his hand two bells hanging.

"Only those who gets a bell passes. The one with no bell goes back to the academy. Come at me with the intent to kill." Sakura was little scared hearing that. She was not willing to go back. Not to mention hims saying to go at him with intent to kill! That was dangerous!

"You must be joking, Sensei. Going with the intent to kill! That is dangerous!" And she said so. No matter even if their Sensei was a jonin he could get injured.

Next moment the atmosphere changed a little. She was not sure but probably their Sensei not happy hearing that. Because he started to chuckle.

"Why, of course. If you wish to go back to the academy you don't have to give your best. The exam has started." He said as his posture relaxed a little. He stood their not caring about them.

Then she saw Sasuke directly attack him. Next moment she blinked. Why? Because Sasuke was behind their Sensei and it looked like Kakashi was always there. She didn't see how he dodged Sasuke's attack!

"Aren't you a little too confident?" Kakashi said as he looked back at Sasuke.

Sasuke without saying anything started to throw shurikens at Kakashi. Only for Kakashi to dodge them with ease.

But that was not the case of Sakura as she had to jump away like her life depends on it, the shurikens were going toward her.

"You almost injured your teammate." Kakashi said, there was something in his voice but Sakura was not able to tell from her place.

"They will only hold me back. I will pass this exam alone." This time Sasuke answered Kakashi's question.

"Aren't you a little too confident." Kakashi said nothing more as Sasuke became more alert. Because Kakashi put his hand on his pocket.

Next Kakashi took out his Icha icha paradise book, and started to read it.

"Don't mind me continue. It's not like it will matter." Kakashi's words were like trigger making Sasuke attack him more aggressively.

All the while Naruto watched all that from his place. And Sakura decided to hide herself in the bushes.

"Fire style: Fire ball jutsu." Naruto had to admit Sasuke was going all out. But why was he feeling that he could take Sasuke on. Naruto jumped into action next moment. And with that five more shadow clones appeared besides him.

Sasuke was tired and would not put Naruto in danger. Next his shadow clones surrounded Kakashi. One went to fight him. Two attacked from sides, others started to act as support throwing kunai and shuriken.

The entire thing happened in just few seconds. In a way Kakashi was trapped. But Kakashi was a jonin after all.

"Well that is something." Kakashi said standing outside of the encirclement. His book was no longer outside. At the same time there was a log with kunai and shuriken poking out.

"How come the dead last is doing far better than the rookie of the year." Kakashi said looking at both of them.

All the while Sakura who was hiding in the bush felt like her mouth would fall off. She watched the entire thing. She was shocked to find Naruto's clones were solid clones.

"Well you don't have to think about that. That is old news." Naruto said as dozens and dozens of shuriken and kunai went for Kakashi. Several more shadow clones appeared besides Naruto.

"I don't think a week old news is that much of an old news. Especially your growth is quite astonishing." Kakashi said as he started to dodge and deflect them. He even purposefully deflected them toward Naruto and his shadow clones.

"Is this all your plan?" Kakashi asked standing with no scratch on him.

"Like any newly graduated genin can do better." Naruto's reply paused Kakashi for a moment.

"You are right about that. But I still don't see any reason to let any of you pass." Kakashi hummed. Next he vanished from his place. Sasuke who was looking at Kakashi felt pain in his stomach, and next thing he knew he was flying. He only stopped after sliding on the ground for several meters.

"SASUKE!" He also found his only female teammate running at him, not even seeing the disappointed look on their sensei.

"I don't even feel like teaching you all a lesson." Kakashi said as Naruto's shadow clones started to pop.

"So, you are not among them. Good decision. But how will you rescue your teammates?" Kakashi said but only Sasuke and Sakura was there. He looked at them.

"I should make it faster." With just one seal, Sakura slumped over.

"And here reports say she is good at Genjutsu. I think I wasted my time reading them." Kakashi said as he saw Sasuke standing up ready to attack him again, not caring about sleeping Sakura.

"So, there is a reason your team score is so low. Maybe it was not all wrong after all." Kakashi said as he dodged Sasuke's attack. It was a little sloppy as Sasuke was still feeling the pain.

"Maybe this will keep you down." Kakashi said as he was behind Sasuke.

"Hidden leaf secret jutsu: Thousand year of death!" If Sakura was awake she would have fainted seeing her Sasuke kun in that state.Or maybe she would have gotten nose bleed. After all she was into BL. Sasuke went red and purple with shame, anger and pain. But all that ended when he slammed into a tree and got knocked out.

"So, what are you going to do?" Kakashi asked glancing at a tree where one of Naruto's shadow clone was hiding.

Naruto hummed as one of his shadow clones told him about the situation. Like both Sasuke and Sakura being hostage. As well as Kakashi challenging him to rescue them. He had to say Kakashi was strong, far stronger than him. Still he had a grin on his face.

'Let's see which one works on you.'

Both Sakura and Sasuke were bound to a log each. Both of them were still unconscious. While Kakashi sat on the third, his book on his hand.

"So, you finally decided to come." Kakashi said as he put his book in his pocket. He glanced behind himself.

"Hokage sama!" He stood up and walked toward him.

The Hokage simply nodded and before anything Kakashi punched the Hokage. And it turned into smoke.

"That will not help you." Kakashi said as he looked back at dozens of Naruto.

"Oh, Yeah. Then we will see!" All of them transformed.

"Sexy harem Jutsu." All of them turned into beautiful girls wearing bikini. The effect was instant as Kakashi stood there petrified like a stone, and blood leaking from his nose.

"WE WIN!' all the shadow clones poffed out of existence as Kakashi found Sasuke and Sakura were on there feet.

It took Kakashi few moments to get himself together.

Kakashi had to admit in his life time he had never seen someone use shadow clone and transformation jutsu like that. Not to mention the effect. Even he was shocked cough cough. Nevermind it was great.

He would have clapped. But..

"Great job Naruto. You have completed your objective of rescuing your two teammates." Kakashi had an eye smile. He was also going to have fun seeing their reaction.

"But you all failed." As he said the bell of the alarm clock rang. Kakashi just eye smiled as he saw the shocked faced of the three. Though Kakashi was not that satisfied seeing how quickly Naruto calmed down.

"Not only you three failed to complete the main objective. I am not even going to comment on all the problems. But I am going to ask you. Why do you think we make three person team?" Kakashi asked as he looked at all of them.

"It is because of teamwork. Teamwork to help eachother and work together." He said as he looked at each of them one one at a time.

"But look at you three, no teamwork what so ever. It is even worse. Some of you will be more danger to their teammates than enemies." Kakashi glanced at Sasuke.

"And some of you don't even understand what it means to be a shinobi." Kakashi glanced at Sakura.

"You did a good job. But you still failed." Kakashi said looking at Naruto. Only for Naruto to raise his hand where a bell was dangling.

"What..!" Kakashi looked at his bells. Only for one to puffed into smoke.

There was a deathly silence as Sasuke , Sakura and Kakashi looked at Naruto with the mix of astonishment and shock.

While Naruto's grin turned even bigger. In a way it was victory for Naruto and defeat for his teammates and his so called Sensei.

Authors note: Writing Sakura's pov was annoying. At this time she was nothing more than annoying delusional bitch. Who's reason for becoming a ninja and future goal was to enter Sasuke's pants.

I don't hate her. But I don't like her either.
