Spiritual Sea

When James woke up he noticed that his surrounding view had changed, instead of using just his eyes to view it was like he could see everything around him, all 360 degrees. James could see all of the details around him, From the rocks on the ground to the tiny droplets of water falling from the ceiling to the ground. He could even see the ants that were crawling away on the ground all around him. This was spiritual sense, it was much more detailed than your actual sight and it was 360 degrees around you. It was something that every cultivator wanted, but a very minimal amount of people actually have it. If you were to try and develop a spiritual sense on your own it would be incredibly difficult, but James had the help of a flower that was incredibly rare.

Soon James noticed that there was something in his head, it looked almost like there was a lake in his head so he decided to ask Winter

'Hey Winter what was this new thing that has popped up in my head?'

[That would be a spiritual sea, it is the place that holds your spiritual sense, the larger it grows the larger the spiritual sense grows. The spiritual sea is divided into realms also, but since it is incredibly difficult to cultivate, it will take a long time to reach the next realm. There are five realms, they are river, lake, sea, gulf, ocean. Each realm is further divided into nine smaller ranks the same as the actual cultivation realms. The rank that you are in depends on the length of your spiritual sense, rank one of the river realm is 10 meters and below, rank two is 20 meters and below, so on and so forth, currently since your spiritual sense has a radius of 15 meters, you would be in the rank 2 of the river realm. You have a long way to go if you want to have a large spiritual sense. The dragon that you had met only had a spiritual sense that was in the sea realm so you can see the difference between realms. To be able to increase the length of your spiritual sense and increase the size of your spiritual sea you would have to get a cultivation manual for your spiritual sea, and the cost of one is immense. The cheapest spiritual sea cultivation method is priced at 100,000 points in the shop and the quality is very low.]

From this James got a lot of information on his spiritual sense, he wanted to get a spiritual sea cultivation method but he knew that it was going to take a long time so he just had to have patience. Although James was new to this world, he was not new to the game of patience.

James figured that since he already had a spiritual sense he should go out and find a lake that he could take a bath in before he had a chat with him. He just noticed that he hasn't taken a bath since he was reincarnated into this world, the man might not of said something but he was sure that at this point he had to be smelly so he wanted to be able to present himself well not that he could communicate with him. Maybe he would even but his turtle top hat on, he just remembered that he had that, it wasn't an important item so he had put it off to the side in his mind and had forgotten about it.

As James was looking around to find a pond he came into contact with many beasts, he was staying relatively close to the cliff side so he wasn't encountering any monsters that were a match for him. Most of the beasts would just run away from him since they knew that they weren't a match but there were still some that took the challenge. Out of the ones that took the challenge most of them were of the second body tempering realm so James didn't even bother to take them and eat them since they wouldn't give him any spiritual qi.

Eventually James found a spot where he could take a bath and jumped right in, it was a very refreshing feeling being immersed in water after such a long time. The water that James had found was something like a pond at the end of a waterfall, it continues after a bit of a pond but since it is at the bottom of a waterfall the erosion was greater causing a pond to form. James felt incredibly relaxed in this pool of water but he knew that now wasn't the time for this. Since James was a turtle he found it quite difficult to clean himself because he couldn't reach to his back and clean himself so he needed to just hope that he was cleaning himself.

Eventually James could hear footsteps coming from in the distance, he didn't do anything and just continued to clean himself since he needed to get back to the cave so that he could talk with the man that he had just met and now had a way to communicate with.

Suddenly James heard a sudden splashing noise coming from near where he was so he was surprised. He looked to the direction of where it came from and he noticed that there was something or someone that had jumped into the pool of water.

James saw a head pop up from below the water and he was instantly dazed, it was a very beautiful woman. She seemed to have some nice black silky hair that was currently wet causing it to be a very dark shade of black. Her face was something that one would expect to come strait to heaven. She had very nice green eyes with a bit of blue mixed in causing an incredible contrast. Her cheeks and lips were a nice shade of red causing them to look nice. When James started to look down he instantly averted his eyes because she didn't seem to be wearing anything. All the sudden James seemed to hear a voice that was very nice to the ears, it seemed to soothe his very soul.

"Hmm, there is a turtle here." said the lady.

The lady started to approach James and instantly he tried to swim away. Almost as if she was a torpedo she arrived in front of James in a second causing wind to flow by James' face and there seemed to be a larger wave that was created by the motion. all of the sudden the lady picked James up by his shell and held him in front of her face.

"You look very cute. Those little stubby feet with the shell on your back, and the face that has a ton of wrinkles even though you seem to be recently born." Said the lady before a truly captivating smile had crept its way onto here face.

When James had saw the smile his heart stopped before his heartbeat started to rapidly increase again. This woman's smile seemed to be heavenly, that was all James could describe it as. After James snapped out of his daze he wanted to try and communicate with her through his spiritual sense. Since it was his first time doing it, it took him a second to figure it out but he got it.

'Umm can you please put me down' Said James to the woman through his spiritual sense. James' voice seemed to be a bit crackly because he was a bit nervous considering there was a heavenly beauty right next to him. His heartbeat was still incredibly fast and wasn't showing any signs of slowing down, if anything it seemed to be speeding up even further.

The woman seemed to be incredibly surprised that James had talked in her mind. It seemed as though she couldn't understand what was going on before something finally clicked in her mind.

"Spiritual sense." muttered the woman.

After a second the woman finally put James down and seemed to have a intrigued expression on her face. Everything seemed to become very awkward quickly. James figured that it might be a good idea if he had just made his way towards the shore but before he could do anything he heard the heavenly voice again.

"Why do you have a spiritual sense, and not even that why do you have intelligence when your are just at the fourth rank of the body refining realm." asked the woman in a somewhat shaky voice.

'I'd better get going, I have someone waiting for me, id love to answer your questions considering your incredible beauty and who wouldn't love to entertain someone of your beauty but at the current moment I cant talk.' James tried to be as calm as he could but he just couldn't calm down so he decided that it would be best if he just got out of the situation before it went further.

'I live towards the west in a cave on the side of a cliff if you ever wanted to visit.'

James said that before he sped off into the distance to his cave abode before he embarrassed himself. Through the entire conversation James had never looked down because he thought he might actually die if he had dont that. Since he had never had any experience with women in his previous life he had no idea what to do. He had never had a girlfriend in his entire 20 years of life previously. After that James continued on his way to the cave, although James didn't forget to put his top hat on before he got back to his cave.
