Communication Problems

James just continued to cook the food ignoring the entire existence of the guy that is sitting next to him. Every once in a while he would just take a peek at the person next to him just to find the man intently staring at him. Whenever James would take a peek at the man the man would smile at him as if he was his best friend.

Eventually James finished cooking and it was time to dig in, James handed one of the pieces of meat to the man sitting next to him and they both started to dig in. As they were eating James was trying to think of a way that he could communicate with this man. He thought of maybe writing on the ground but he didn't think that it would be a logical way to go about this. Finally he decided that he would ask the system since it would always have an answer for him.

'Hey Winter is there any way that I would be able to communicate with this man?' Asked James

[There are many ways that you could go about communicating with him. There are many items in the system that would help you transmit your thoughts to him but currently those are out of your budget range. The other way for you to communicate with him is to reach the qi condensation realm and transmit your voice through your vocal cords when you transform into a human. The final way for you to communicate with him would be to develop your spiritual sense and use that to transmit your thoughts directly to the mans brain.]

James thought about it and currently the best choice for him would be to develop the spiritual sense but he didn't know how to do that. James was thinking about it until finally he had an epiphany, the flower! He had that flower that would help him develop his spiritual sense while he was asleep, he had forgotten about it before now because of the amount of things that he had to do at the time. But this still left the question of how he was going to get the man to stay for the night so that he would be able to communicate with him.

James decided to take a peek outside real quick so that he would be able to tell what time of the day it is since he hadn't checked in some time. As James was on his way out the man suddenly looked at him and asked

"Where are you going?"

James didn't know what to do because he couldn't thing of the way to tell him he was going to go outside for a second. While James was contemplating what he should do the man wasn't idle either. He started to approach James and before long he was directly in front of James. This caused James to snap out of his current state and just point in the direction of the exit of the cave.

"Do you want to leave the cave?"

James shook his head indicating that it was a no.

"Then ill just follow you since you seem to be interesting."

After the man said that James decided that he would just go along with it since he was just going outside for a second to take a peek anyways. James took his time almost as if he was going on a stroll. James would look around at the walls of the cave and think back to the time when he mined all of the crystals out of the side of the cave. It was a lot of hard work and James never wanted to really have to do that again, although the reward outweighed the effort it took he still didn't like it. Oh and if you were going to ask how its possible for James to mine when he's just a turtle, he has his ways, whatever you think it might be may be correct may be wrong, who knows.

Eventually James made it to the end of the cave and he took a peek outside, it still seemed to be bright but it seemed that the sun was on its way down the horizon. The sun would set in about an hour so he figured that he would get the man to stay for the night so that he would be able to talk with him the next day when he finally had developed his spiritual sense.

James started to make his way back into the cave when he heard a voice come from the side of him.

"So you were trying to see what time of day it was. That's pretty clever of you little turtle I didn't expect you to have gotten many concepts yet. Since you look pretty new born I wasn't sure how much your intelligence had developed but it seems to have developed to a frightening degree." Stated the man.

James looked back at the man for a second before turning back around and continuing on his way into the cave. If James were to loom back he would have seen that the man had an extremely amused expression on his face at this moment.

James continued on his way into the cave until he finally made it all the way back to the area that they were both in previously. James used a flick of his hand or stub or foot, whatever you would call it he just flicked it and the fire calmed down until it was no longer seen. At this moment the man looked like he saw a ghost, on his face you could see extreme shock. He soon recovered from the little fiasco that went on but his voice was still a bit crackly when he said.

" D-did you j-just use the fire Dao?!?!?!"

James looked back at the man and just nodded his head before he continued on his way forward. The reason that James was just continuing on with his business was because he wasn't really paying attention to what he said he was just nodding whenever he said something. At the moment he was trying to figure out what he should do so that he would be able to get the man to stay for the night. Finally after a bit James thought back to the words that the system said to him a while ago. The shop function had just about everything that he could think of, he could just buy a bed and have him sleep there.

'Winter would I be able to buy a bed for this man so that I could get him to stay?'

[Yes just for you I will put together a bed set so that you would be able to purchase it without going through the process of going through all the things in the system shop.]

At this point James was very thankful to the system, almost everything that he had asked the system he had gotten an answer to, and the system was always trying to help him out whenever the occasion came up. James thought back to all the times that the system had helped him out immensely and started to feel a warm feeling in his heart, at first he wasn't sure what this feeling was but after a bit there was one thing that came to mind, happiness. The system was for sure the best thing that had happened to him in this world other than, well, being reincarnated into the world in the first place but we wont get into that.

'Thank you for everything Winter.' Said James with sincerity

[No problem host.] The system seemed to have said this with a little joy evident in its voice. James had never thought about it before but the voice of the system sounded feminine, but he had always just assumed that it was an it so he hadn't thought about it but it was clearly a her.

Soon James heard the system talk to him again.

[The package has been set up and it is being sold for a low price of 1 point.]

James instantly bought it and a new package had found its way into his inventory. He instantly found a place that would be optimal to set the bed up and placed it down onto the cave floor. When the bed came out of his inventory he actually noticed that there were two. One seemed to be about a king size bed, it was covered in nice navy blue sheets that had a striped pattern on it. On the bed there seemed to be two nice pillows right next to each other and it looked incredibly comfortable. On the side there was a second bed, it was nowhere near the size of the king size bed, it seemed to be about the size of a poster that you would have hanging the wall in the room. This bed seemed to be for James as on the bed there were no pillows but the sheets were amazing, James loved them. The sheets were a nice galaxy pattern with pictures of cartoon turtles riddled throughout it. It was the optimal bed in James' opinion he was very happy at this point.

The man was standing at James' side for this entire fiasco and seemed to be utterly shocked. Where did this turtle get these beds from, he didn't seem to have a spatial storage ring so where could he have gotten it. After the man recovered he looked back and forth through the two beds before looking at James and asking.

"Is that bed for me?"

James nodded his head.

"huh I wasn't planning on staying the night but since you insist I might as well agree." The man seemed to be very nice and was just agreeing to everything that James threw his way. Although it seemed to be a mix of intrigue and a curious expression, James could still tell that the man had no bad intentions. Since this was the case James climbed up on his bed and decided that he would cultivate for a bit. After the man saw James' actions he was utterly shocked again, this turtle could cultivate?!?!?!?! After a bit the man decided that he would do the same as James.

After about two hours James decided that it was time for him to go to bed and after a bit of consideration eh decided to just take the flower out place it next to him and just go to sleep. A bit later the man seemed to stop cultivating, he looked down at James for a second before looking at the flower, he seemed to not be able to recognize what it was so he just decided that he would go to sleep also.
