End : Word of Thanks

Well, the end of the novel has come. To all who have been with me from the start until the end, I thank you.

I also wanted to thank all of my readers who have commented with corrections (in alphabetical order). There will probably be more but for now, these are the ones. Thank you:

I hope I haven't missed out anyone. Apologies if I have.

Special mention to one 'dear' reviewer, goldzi, who was extremely unhappy with this novel and left a 1* review with the comment, "plotholes size of planet it not worth to read fk". The first review in a year that I deleted - it had no real content and given after only 8 chapters. I replied, asking where it was before I deleted it.

Said reviewer was clearly unhappy and continued to post 1* review (and once, even a 5* review) each time I deleted it. This went on for about a month with the same content of "reviews sl*t author deletes reviews that not 5 star but leave it emoji bots" every time I delete the review.

In the end, I stopped deleting his review because there was no point anymore. He didn't get what I told him the first time, and he will continue to post until he's satisfied.

Like they say, "Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience."

I would like to state here that I do not delete reviews less than 5*. If I did that, the rating would be 5* now, wouldn't it? What goldzi failed to realise is that I only deleted his review as I deemed it a troll review. All I ask is for a fair review. 

My grammar may not be perfect, but it didn't deserve 1*. I update daily and when I can't, I usually replace it with extra chapters and I always give ample warning (rest etc) so it didn't deserve a 1* either. 

A 1* review is unfair.

So why do I let 5* emoji reviews remain?

Simple. It may just be emojis, but it does convey the reader's joy and appreciation of the novel. I don't understand the bot bit though, for it doesn't make sense to me why anyone would do so. It just gives exp that doesn't do anything else! Fast pass is better, right? Exp? Bleh.

Anyway, writing isn't easy and all Authors put our heart and soul into it. If you don't like it, it's fine but to bring a novel down based on your own personal grudge / feelings / that it doesn't fit what you enjoy is just too much.

Be kind to Authors.
