Shortly after having resumed his spirit, Xin exited in hurry the tent to not hinder the other children who will take the test.

Then, after he take some distance with the tent he began thinking about his martial soul. He remember the lessons of his father, the martial soul influence your path toward cultivation, someone who have a dog soul would have to learn a canine technique to try to develop his spirit into a new evolution like a giant wolf, if he tried to take a bird technique he could end with a dog but instead of a mouth it would have a beak. If the cultivation technique is suitable for the martial then the soul could have a comprehensive developement when cultivating and can influence this developpement but it was rare that someone do that because in general the soul which is used for the cultivation is mostly better than the martial soul. The possessor of a dog soul will not choose to remain with the same dog's mouth when he can have the wolf's.

But think of a cell and his possible evolution, a cell can not be categorized by canine or bird or any other type of beast, so in fact enven if now Xin only have a cell, it is compatible with a wider variety of cultivation than other people, and aven if the soul develop in another form like bird, inherentely it remain a cell. In the mythology back at earth there were stories of mutant monster, chimera, griffin or even the Sphinx, If he could choose the good techniques aka gênes for his spirit cell he could have a mythological being as his martial soul, but it will not be easy, the best cultivation techniques must have a lot of security around them and have a lot of conditions to practice them.

But this idea create a new problem for Xin, which school to choose, his soul was obviously neutral but it could develop in every path you can think.

After few seconds of thinking he came to a decision, despite the differents schools, each has their advantages, from the informations he could gather since his reicarnation Xin found that in general the angelic cultivators must remain virtuous to maintain a fast developpement, for the demonic cultivators it is more hard to know but from the various act recorded it seem that they must act with bad actions but it is something which wasn't proven and just theorized, they have tided lips about that for those who are not like them, and the neutral group is the most mysterious because there isn't a rule like the two other, it was mostly about the cultivation technique and the martial soul involved. Each has their advantages, even the demonic cultivation or they would have not existed so he decided that he will talk to the representants of each school and he would choose afterward, and perhaps some of them will be more easy in the conditions of recruitmant.

Happy toward his genius mind, he walk toward the Angelic academy, it seem to be the less contraining with the biggest benefict so he began with them.

When he arrived toward the tents with the brightest colors there was a visible conflict between two group of people, one had a dark and heavy atmosphere and the other was white with a light atmosphere. These two groups were surrounded by a lot of children who were interested by this eventful moment.

« Go back to you dark hole filthy beings, you should not approch him, he is meant to great things » said a man in white and gold clothes who seem to be the leader of hi group.

« Watch your mouth lightbulb, this boy need to follow the path of true powers and we are the only help he will ever need so, back off ! » answered a man in black cloth who wear an ox's skull as a mask, he seemed to be the leader of his own group.

Thinking that it was certainly the demonic and angelic group, Xin approached one of the children for asking.

-« Hey, what happened here ? » he asked

-« When a children boasting a 'frozen fire'(fire which froze) arrived and was conflicted between one of the school, each one try to poach him but it degenerate and here we are.

This statement make Xin remember the enimity between the two groups and the possibles problem they gather with them.

'If I join one of these school I will have a lot of conflict toward the other group in the future, and if I make oustanding achievemnt then the other group will actievely chase after me tomake sure that any potential threat will disapear. I should just join the Neutral school, with the system I just need time for being successful' think Xin before heading toward the neutral ground with curiosity, he don't know a lot of things about them but it shouldn't be a bad school bucause they are a large Power like the two other.

Then he arrived in front of a group of colorful tents with various color, there were green, red, white or even blark, it clearly isn't like the other two group which just have white tents or black tents.

Arriving here, he only found an old man with a calm aura who smile at him.

-« Hello young man, are you here to join our humble school ? »

-« Yes senior » said Xin respectfully with a bow, thinking that like the typical light novel either he was a powerful cultivator or he has a lot of knowledge and hint to help him in the future, and even if he wasn't his parents in his two lifes raised him to be respectful toward his elder and, he souldn't create a foe with a potential ally.

-« Then I welcome you In the Void academy, a school where you can be everything, merchant, craftsman, or even fighter... » said the old man seeing the face Xin was making thinking he join a typical cultivation school.The group of children follows the old man toward an old bus which seem to have seen his fair share of life, the more it goes and the more it seem like the school doesn't have money. While walking, Xin asked the system to scan the old man to be sure of him.

*Scan of the subject...scan complete*

*result : unknown energy detected, suspected to be cultivation… advising the host to stay away from the subject, potential ability to harm the host.*

-« System, why do you know the notion of cultivation and the different stage but not the energy utilized by the cultivators ? » asked Xin puzzled by the system.

*Answer: the system just know the mundane notion of cultivation, something that even a normal human could know if he found it in a book. Everything that concern the cultivation isn't know by the system. The system advise the host to collect informations.*

Thinking about this answer, Xin was shaken at the shoulder by his new friend.

-« Do you think that we will become level 1 beings in the future Xin ? » asked Happy with excitement.

-« Of course Happy, and we will live like kings! »

-« Don't be so sure, don't you know that only a little percent of genius can become level 1 being ? By seeing how you act , you two don't seem to be one. » said a little girl behind them. It was a petite girl with brune hairs a little curly at the ends.

-« And who are you miss 'I know all'? » asked Xin a little irritated by what said the girl.

-« I am Leslie, Leslie Ackerman, the future greatest alchemist of this continent. » Said the girl with a pride and conviction, it was as if her determination was unshakable.

Seeing that things will degenerate tried to calm the tense atmosphere but to no avail.

-« Isn't it more absurd to think that someone will be the greatest of alchemist of the continent than a level 1 being ? » asked Xin with a mocking voice while thinking that they can be two to play this game.

-« Perhaps for common people, but I am a genius with a martial soul of fire. » she said with a smirk on her face.

Xin was a little impressed but he didn't show it and especially not it front of her, it would give her too much credit but it was true that a martial soul affiliate to an elemental attribute tend to have more chance to be a cultivator in the future, because of the numerous path they could take it wasn't easy to deviate in a wrong path of cultivation which could block them in the future (aka.the dog with a beak) and they can have truly woundruous and fantastic change in the future (aka.the frozen fire). But just the tough of having the cell as his martial soul lifted his mood, it has the potential to be at the top of the biological martial soul and perhaps more if he can evolve it in a being wich have elemental power like a dragon, he have the jackpot.

-« And you what do you have? » Asked Leslie with a smug face toward the two.

-« I also have a fire martial soul. Do you want to be friend Leslie? » said Happy with a large smile.

It shocked the other two, it was not common to have an elemental soul and even less if it was the same, it must be understood that among the different typeof soul, just 15 % is an elemental power if we don't count the hereditary powers in the superpowers of this world who has natural or artificial methods to give an elemental power.

-« And you ? » asked Leslie toward Xin, a little curious toward his Xin, Happy also turned his head toward him with sparkling eyes curious about the martial soul of his new friend.

-« An animal martial soul » said Xin. It calmed Leslie a little, it would have been uncommon to be a special soul like her and Happy, even if biological soul are common, there exist few which are at the apex of others, like a dragon soul like explained earlier, so when he said an animal soul everyone would think of a common animal which was banal.

These animals souls expect a few minority were common soul without a great hope to become 'true' cultivators (at least level 1 beeing).

« It is time to enter the bus, come in line » said the old man toward the children.

After being installed, the free children were sitting together, when they it, leslie came by his side, clearly eager to continue to talk, perhaps it was why she came to began the discussion with them with the topic of being a genius.

After speaking to Leslie a little he and Happy understood that Leslie wasn't a bad girl, just a little to proud of her soul but who wouldn't if you are said to be a genius except a few individual like the kind Happy or the more mature Xin, in fact it was a nice girl if you know her a little.

The last child who came with them seem to want to distance from themself a bit, perhaps he like to be alone so was thinking Xin after he turn his eyes when they make eyes contact in the bus, so he didn't ask him to join them to discuss, he he sat in the back of the bus with a book in his hand and began to read.

And with that the bus calmly headed to the school while the three children were learning new things about the other two.

While seeing that they were departing Xin look outside by the windows and said to himself that it wasn't a bad life thanking silently Morgan Freeman in his heart for that.
