Chapter 011 | It’s acting… kinda

Momo sat in her room with the light's off as she was watching romance movies. Being the sheltered girl she was, she had never gone on a date. These movies were the best thing she had to see what it would be like.

As a kissing scene came on, Momo instinctually covered her eyes before opening them a bit and seeing it with her face instantly growing hot. 'Is he planning to kiss me again?' She thought to herself just as the light's turned on causing her to turn her head to see her mother standing there with a small shocked expression.

"Who is gonna kiss you again?" Mrs.Yaoyorozu said with a cold stare toward her daughter who accidentally thought the name of the person she was supposed to hang out with in less than 24 hours.

"Nani!?" Mrs. Yaoyorozu yelled out, making Momo's face turn pale as she knew she was caught and there was nothing she could do about it now. "How dare he touch my daughter! After everything we've done!" Mrs.Yaoyorozu started to turn around before she remembered something.

She hadn't been able to read Zinon's mind, this meant he either had a mental type quirk, or he was just strong enough to resist her. Either one was good for her… and their family.

With this though, Mrs. Yaoyorozu turned around with a small mischievous smile and walked toward Momo's bed. Upon reaching it she sat down and looked at the surprised Momo, who thought she would go tell her father immediately.

"Tell me Momo… do you like him?" Mrs. Yaoyorozu asked with a small smile as she started forming a plan. He wouldn't be able to become Momo's main husband, but a second one wouldn't be too out of reach, had she wanted to she could have married 5 different people.

"Like him?... I-I don't know…" Momo answered as her face regained it's rosy hue and she looked away, thinking about it. How was she supposed to know something she had never felt before?

"Hm… well I guess there is plenty of time for that… tell me more about this date you keep thinking about" Mrs.Yaoyorozu said with her hands folded and her right leg over her left.

"Well… he asked me to watch a movie tomorrow… I don't know which one… Uh… Mom?" Momo stopped talking as Mrs.Yaoyorozu's eyes started to shine and she pulled her daughter into a tight hug. "Oh my baby's first date! Okay Okay, we need to make sure you wow him… don't worry about your father… I'll 'Distract' him" Mrs.Yaoyorozu said with a chuckle as she jumped up and practically sprinted toward Momo's closet.

Momo, with confirmation she could go and wouldn't have to worry about her father, turned around and buried her head into her pillow, screaming a bit to try and calm her raging heartbeat that wouldn't stop pounding…

'Tomorrow…'

Meanwhile on the other side of town, Zinon and Kai were in a predicament. Number 1, as his name said on the status screen, looked at kai as he leaned against the tables that the doctors have been using and took off the mask that covered most of his face, revealing a scarred and burned disformed jaw.

"See this?... happened a few years ago… courtesy of those so called heroes… I thought my life was over… I thought I was dead… but then he came… reached out to me… promised revenge… I haven't looked back since."

1 put his mask back on and relaxed his gun arm, still keeping it pointed at Kai, who wasn't even close to the same level as him according to the system. "He built everything I have… from the ground up… Mr.Yaoyorozu was just a small means to pay for some things… but we won't need him anymore with this new project he's working on… so first I am gonna kill you two… then I'm gonna kill all of the Yaoyorozu for my sensei''

"Really? Can I help?" Zinon suddenly stood up and raised his hands as Number 1 aimed the gun at him, ready to shoot at a moment's notice. "Seems I didn't hit you hard enough kid… I don't enjoy killing kids… at least not while they're alive…"

Zinon gulped once as the gun was pointed at his head, sure he was a game character, but he didn't have enough Hp to ignore bullet damage, hell he hadn't even gotten the full system unlocked due to not finishing the tutorial.

"Hey… Didn't you hear me?... I'll help you get rid of the Yaoyorozu" Zinon said, using his acting skill to his advantage at this moment. He was serious about killing Mr.Yaoyorozu anyway, it was part of his quest.

"Hm?" Due to the acting skill, as well as the seriousness, Number 1 saw that Zinon wasn't joking… But how could a kid be useful? "Why would you want that?... If you answer wrong you're dead" Number 1 said squinting his eyes and tensing up a little, ready to kill Zinon at a second's notice

"Well… I want to take over of course… It's all part of a bigger plan in the end… and that Sensei you mentioned?... I believe he could use someone like me… An inside man with the heroes… ready to strike at a moment's notice…" Zinon smirked wildly as he started walking around the table, looking at Kai's expression of betrayal plastered on his face.

"I know All For One…" This was a complete guess. He didn't know many people in the show and this guy was for sure never mentioned. The only one he could recall being called sensei by people was All For One, if he was incorrect, he was dead, simple as that.

Luckily, Number one widened his eyes, revealing to Zinon he was correct about his guess. Zinon smirked inwardly as Number 1 lowered his gun and looked at him differently than before. "I… will let you live for now… we'll talk to sensei later, as for this guy" Number 1 turned around and looked at Kai, who was staring at Zinon in shock as the kid he had been training only hours before, had now gone to an entirely different side. Not only that, but he was conspiring to kill the boss as well.

"Wait…" Zinon suddenly said, grabbing Number 1's arm as he raised the gun to shoot Kai. "I actually need him alive for my plan to work…" Zinon finished with a sigh as Number 1 squinted his eyes.

"Why would you need him alive?" 1 asked curiously as Zinon walked toward Kai with pity in his eyes. "Well he is pretty important in my plans… don't worry I'll keep him from talking about it… a little torture and he'll be as quiet as a mouse…" Zinon finished with a wink that Kai caught and widened his eyes before going back to normal.

'I really thought he had betrayed us… the kiddo is too good at acting' Kai thought as he pretended to glare at Zinon with hate as he jumped up, only to be smacked down by Zinon. This was fake of course, but it gave the impression that Zinon was stronger than him.

"I have him under control… if you need to make contact with me, call this number" Zinon pulled a phone out of his inventory, one he had had since entering this new world, though he never bothered to use it.

After giving the number of the phone and conveniently connecting his phone to the system, Zinon left with Kai, who acted like he was struggling against his grip, and Zinon, to make it seem real, cut him up a bit as well.

As they entered the car, Zinon threw Kai in the backseat and nodded toward the warehouse where he knew 1 would be watching. There was no way he could kill that guy yet, even Kai wasn't strong enough.

If he had infinite Dexterity, this meant he also had high regenerative properties, which wouldn't surprise him much. "Don't look back, that guy is dangerous…" Kai said after 10 minutes of driving and finally jumped into the front seat and used his quirk to heal himself.

Enhance was simple, he could enhance anything about himself, though it put a small strain on him. Strength? Enhanced, Stamina? Enhanced? Cellular production? Enhanced. His quirk just worked that way.

"Did you like my performance? I could tell you really thought I was gonna to betray you…" Zinon said as Kai and him switched seats. "Yeah yeah you really got me kiddo… Is it okay if we visit my family before going back to the manor? I just went through a life and death situation, besides you don't need to go back until tomorrow right? On your date~" Kai decided to use this moment to regain some lost ground and tease Zinon.

Zinon just rolled his eyes though as they left town, continuing to drive for another 3 hours in silence and also occasional cracks at each other.

"Welcome to my humble abode…" Kai said with a smile as they reached a small house that looked like it would fit around 4 people at most. "Yeah… I sure am glad to be here…" Zinon said looking at his quest and seeing the objective… as well as the side objective…

"Why did you stop?... Let's get going!" Kai said, smiling brightly as he walked toward the house and swung the door open. Zinon walked up as well and stepped through the ajar door, closing it, he made sure to lock it and continued in the house...
