Prophecy

A long time ago a witch lived deep inside the greatest forest on the central continent. She lived a secluded live inside the forest, with the animals as her only companions. She lived there peacefully watching over the world.

We don't know how long did she live inside the forest. We had forgotten her. She didn't care about that. She was happy inside the forest. But one day she saw the future. It was an horrible future. She was shocked when she saw it. For days she didn't know what to do.

Finally she resolve herself to get out of the forest. After such a long time she was again in the lands of mankind.

Soon they got to know her and once they did they could not forget that witch. No human was able to perform magic. But even their martial arts were not as good as the one the witch knew.

She didn't settle anywhere. She wandered across the land and chose seven children to train as her pupils.

Those seven children learned new martial arts and magic. They become the strongest humans.

As they grow the witch taught them many things. She did not just made them stronger but also taught them how to life with that strength. She taught them what their role shall be. But she did not tell them their true task.

It was in her final day when she told them what their true job was. They had to stop the future evil that would arrive. They had to do this themselves or train seven more children to accomplish this, those children shall them have the same task.

The evil to come if not stopped would be able to destroy all life. She saw it. She knew it.

She saw three doors. Two were small while the las was huge. All the doors opened but each at its own pace. The firsts to open were the small doors. From these open doors she saw thousands of monsters appear. The monster were being she had never saw and whose power was a danger for the world. Those monsters fed on anything alive: plants, insects, animals, humans. They left devastation wherever they went. But this was just the beginning.

At last the third door opened. From that door came out countless demons. Unlike the other doors, where only a limited number could pass, from this one they just kept coming out. She first thought then all to be monsters but now she understood they were all demons. And when that las door opened the world ended.

If the last door opens them humanity will perish. That last door must be destroyed at any cost. For this reason they must look for the time the doors appear. Of possible they must destroy all three before they even get open. Unfortunately the doors should appear on a hidden place. Once the demons appear all of humanity shall unite and attack them. The chosen seven must destroy the third door before it opens.

I was astonished by the old man story. That old witch had actually predicted our arrival? I wondered how that was even possible but I was left with one more worry. They think they have to defeat us now. They must have thought the two small doors have opened and so they have to defeat us before the third one does. I have indeed seen those doors. One is the one from where I call new demons while the other seemed closed to me... yet now that I think of it didn't it look like it was open? Is it possible that I came out of it...?

Wait this is no time no lose on this petty thoughts. I had to survive a huge army that seems quite set on destroying the dungeon. Perhaps if I kill those seven they would no longer care? But if they don't then I could end up losing a lot of demons for nothing. After all they should be humanity strongest warriors. Should I escape then?

...Impossible.

After learning the dungeon's structure I thought of escaping. Unfortunately it seems not possible. Well I can escape but I would die. My advisor did told me that not fulfilling my duties would lead to my demise. If the dungeon is taken and the doors destroyed the demons still alive would eventually die out and that does include even me. It seems we live thanks to the connection to the demon world. That connection is quite limited with the small doors. It also does set a limit on the number of demons I can summon. Well not that I feel like I could ever arrive to that number now.

I somehow separated from the old man who set me on route to the followers camp. I left the demon alone. I'm still quite shocked. Furthermore I have to think of something or this can get worse.

Unfortunately I am so shocked and worried that no useful thoughts come to mind. I decided to get a break. I will go out!

As I get outside that noisy adviser of mine seems awfully quiet. It's better so since I really don't feel like listening to anyone.

As I get closer to the door the light intensifies. I haven't really notice how dark it's inside the dungeon. It seems way too dark for a normal human to see.

My vision through my demons isn't normal. I haven't noticed for it seemed natural somehow but it is like more opaque, darker and limited. I get minimal information from them like what does a target looks like, background shapes with almost no well defined color. How did I not notice?

The light becomes even stronger. I'm running before I even notice. All thoughts disappear with one sole exception. I run as fast as I can and finally...

...Finally the SUN!!

I think I am crying but it doesn't matter at all. The sun I have so much longed for is finally there on sight. I am on my knees before even noticing it. It hurts my eyes so much but I can't take my eyes from it.

After some time I have my head now on the ground. This hard once dryed ground is now wet from my tears. I really don't know how much time has passed. This place really seems heaven to me. Unfortunally it seems all around me is a wasteland thanks to the demons. There is nothing else too see here. Even so it is most beautiful that any place on hell.

I would very much like to see how this place looked like before the demons came. Right now it is a wasteland. It seems all around are plains. Yet the dungeon is buried on a small hill. Far away behind the hill there are mountains. Small ones. I head towards a small river near the dungeon. I have seen it through the demons but not accurately. But even as I approach not much changes. It is burned all around. The river itself is all empty. It is dirty with the devastation my demons have done for miles. Yet this river is enough to make me happy. There is no normal river in hell. Every river I found in hell bring me pain and suffering. Acid rivers, magma rivers, boiling rivers, frozen rivers, rivers fill with blades, rocks or monsters or everything.

This world is heaven for me. That is why I can't lose this fight. I can't return to that place. I must fight against humanity and win. I shall bring them hell. I will make them understand just a part of what true hell really is. Did they think our demons were bad news? I shall make them rethink that. For this is nothing compared to hell.
