1 The Beginning

28 July, Year 2050.

Anger, anxiety, fear and all kind of negative emotion are feel by Eliah. He just receives a devastative blow to his life when he receives news related to his investment that turn bad resulted all his money are gone.

All his saving is gone, plus he was also in debt as he is taking loan as his capital for the investment.

There is no one he can blame aside himself as he was trap in his emotions while making the decisions that cause all his money gone overnight. To make things worse, he just resigns from his job as assistant manager to be a full time trader. The losses in his investment could potentially mean lost the only source of income.

He smokes one after one nonstop and at one time had feeling to take extreme measure to end his own life. However, since all his loans are come from legal sources, the worst that came is to declare bankruptcy which is not as bad as other which take loans illegally from illegal finance consultant which will pay with their own life if there is delay in payment.

He stands up and throw his cigarette to his own made ashtray and walk to his bathroom to take shower.

He rushing in shower as he will remember more about his bad luck as long he in the shower. He picks up a random t-shirt from his bed that was black in colour and Bermuda short. He picks up his car key and goes to his own car.

He starts the car and drive it to nearest cafe to had breakfast. The cafe look nice with good environment even though is still in the morning. Quite a number of customer are lining up to order their food to take away to their working place. He orders normal set of breakfast consists of omelettes and a cup of white coffee.

"Your food is here sir" the waitress is bringing the food to his table.

"Thank you" replied Eliah. He mood are become a little bit better after enjoying the breakfast.

'I need to have some plan for me to continue in this life or else my situations will be same as Fred.

Eliah friend who now involve with some underworld gang after several tragedies which make him lose his belief in righteous and correct way life. It also become one of the Eliah regret as he did not aware anything about him until it is too late because everyone knows that once you involve with them, the only way to free from them is by your life unless they have enough power that his word is the law in this world.

Tick..tick…tick…

The clock is ticking and no idea had come out from Eliah mind to resolve his issue.

"arrghh…..this mother#####...." all kind of curse word is come out from Eliah mouth as time is passed. He had imagined all his dream to have luxury life full with beauties and power are gone. Many will think that what happen to him is not that tragic compare to other people which had much more worst situations, but for him, living life with no capabilities to achieve his dream is not much different than having no life. To restart all over is not easy as it looks as there is debt that need to be pay. Working as general worker to cover the debt will take his entire life and he will only able to pay the full amount after working his ass of for ten of years which is not practical considering his age of 34 is not young anymore and to start from bottom at this age is not practical except some miracle or someone with enough power and wealth to support him.

All his family member is already passed away when he was young and his relative is not dependable as their situations is not much different from him as of now which is full of debt.

Day by day passed and Eliah was just try to enjoy his life before he will declare bankruptcy and all his asset will be taken away. Believe me, for someone that have decent life to be lost everything in one night, the blow that you face is not much different when you were inform by your doctor that you have incurables disease that will reduce your life quality but did not take your life away. It just makes you some time think that it was better to not living anymore. Same thing for child that was raised in problematic or abusing parent that make you thinking it was better to be raised as orphan as the existence of parent just make your life worse than it is.

Few months passed, Eliah nightmare is come finally and all his asset has been reposed such as car, house etc. He was now officially being bankrupt person and will only able to lift out from this status after 5 years by law. He is now working as general worker in constructions with one of the worst conditions since there is not much company willing to hire him due to his status. Only limited place willing to take him work as they handed their wage in cash instead of transfer it to your bank account. Of course the practice to handed your salary in cash is very risky since no transactions record which lead to employee abuse by the employer, but Eliah has not many options and just take whatever chance he got to make a living.

His living place is a share room with other 7 workers, however since Eliah is not young anymore, this way of life cannot be continue for long or else he will have a lot of health complications just after few years. Since he cannot depend on anyone to help him, having health issue is something that he need to avoid at all cost as it will bring more severe problem to him and his roommate is not someone that he can depend on since everything here means money, even asking for them to help you buy something will cost you something. He cannot blame them since just like him, all the person here is facing difficult situations and will not able to divert their attentions to helping other as their life was also required help to survive as their wage are very low and will barely enough to cover their daily expenses.

May 2051

Due to overwork and severe fatigue, Eliah finally succumb to high fever and will not be able to go to work. No work will mean no money which eventually no food in table. Once this cycle continues, his health will become worse since his body did not have enough energy to continuing functions. After a few days, his health is not recovering, instead it become worse and if this is continue, his employer will chase him out from the dorm since they will employ another person to replace him. This is the way of his employer running their company as to minimise their cost. You can try complain this to authority, but yours complain will be throw into some trash bin and will not being heard again as the company can simply refuse to acknowledge since there is no record that you are hiring in the company due to their shady practice. The authority is not something you can depend on since the company has grab them on their side with their money. It will be like ant try to fight with lion, just one swipe and the ant will die, the lion will just continue with his life like nothing happen.

After few days, he was finally being chase out forcefully from his dorm by his employer using some thugs. He was being left out in some back alley at night by the thug to avoid being seen by civilian even though not much difference if it was seen by civilian since the authority is fully corrupt. But if it was done sneakily, no civilian will complain and less money will need to be pay for authority to close their eyes.

'I think this is the end of my life' Eliah is thinking in his head. He situations is really bad due to his health issue and did not capable to even stand up since his body is very weak now.

Rain starting to fall and become very heavy in instant. His body are drenched wet and can only rolling his body to move to nearby wall in hope to reduce the amount of rain fall on him. No money, no energy to move his body, his life and his mind is starting to fade away.
