2 Chapter 2 : New Ability
"sir…sir…sir" Eliah heard someone is calling him. He also feels a very soft hand try to shake his body in order to wake him up. The voice is beautiful and he imagine that the voice owner is someone pretty.
"sir..please wake up, this is my sleeping place" the same voice sounding begging.
"hmmmphh…" Eliah try his best to open his eyes to look for the voice owner.
But the effort is still futile as his eye lids are stuck like glue.

One big splash of cold water on his body. Eliah is suddenly wake up and look up.
The face is not clear since the light is dark. Some smell like garbage is around the air.
He can see the person is holding some kind of pail which was suspected being use to splash the water to him. All the weakness feel is suddenly gone and he can feel his body is full of energy and capable to run a fully marathon just to release the overwhelming energy he feel in his body.
He tries observe the culprit that splashing the water. However due to the darkness, he did not able to view the detail clearly. He can identify the person as female due to the long hair. Or maybe he is wrong since there is man with long hair on today world.
"Good, finally you wake up" the same voice sounding again.
"Now just go away from my favourite sleeping place. Just go away" the person spoke with annoying tone in his voice.
"Sorry. I will move now" Eliah replied subconsciously and try to stand up from his positions.
On the process to standing up, suddenly his left leg feels weak and cause him to lose his balance and crash a little bit to the wall on his back. He put his hand on to the wall and floor to cover his fall. His left hand is holding onto the wall and push his body to avoid from crashing to the wall heavily. He manages to stand up after he manage to cover the fall and he stand up just beside the man/woman.
"Okay now I have move now, you can take this place to sleep and thanks for your effort to wake up. Now I will move away" Eliah spoke to the person. He thanks the person since he believes due to his man/woman effort, had bring to good luck to him that causes his body feel healthy and strong as of now. However, he still not able to look clearly the person face since the hair are covering more than half of the person face.
Suddenly some weird information's is available in Eliah eyes when he observes in the person.

Eliah is look away from the person and look into the wall, the information is gone. He look again to the person, the information is not available anymore. He thinking to make the information available and suddenly the same details is available in his eyes.
He sits down besides the person which already lying in his/her favourite sleeping place. It looks like the person did not waste any time and occupies his favourite place immediately once Eliah move out.
'What happen to my eyes. Why I can see data when I observe the person and it will disappear once the person is not in my sight.' Eliah contemplating in his mind.
'It looks like some kind of game where we can see the stat of other player. Is this really happening?' more questions arise in his mind.
'But the details will disappear once I wish it to disappear and will appear if I wish again' Eliah try to keep his mind intact. He pinches his hand to confirm if this is real and not a dream. He can feel the pain in his hand and verified that this is not a dream. Since Eliah is already give up on his life before, the abnormalities did not bring much shock to him. Well normally when people is giving up with their life, not much thing can bring shock to them unless they were woke up from their dream and realise that everything that happen is just a dream. It looks like that having some information appear in their sight is not one of the factor that can bring shock to this kind of person.
Plus, with Eliah mind has become stronger due everything that happen in his life, he was able to processing that was happen in much better manner than some stupid Japanese MC in their manga which always fall shock for every small surprise.
He lift up his ass and ready to stand up look around.
"Thanks again man. I will go now. Don't worry, if someday I manage to score big I will come here again to look for you and help you to live with better life" Eliah spoke again the person as last gesture before he goes for walk. He thinking since the person is sleeping outside, his life must be miserable that make him become homeless.
Eliah walking out from the back alley and did not look back. He out from the back alley and go to the main road. Since it was a night time, not much pedestrian is available in the pavement. He stood up in one positions and observe and passer-by to test his sight and confirm if the details is still available or only a mind trick. One man which is stand nearby that look like waiting for someone is appearing in his sight. That man is wearing plain t-shirt with blue jeans and focus on his smartphone. He Eliah wish for the detail to be available and the data is appearing in his sight:

'hmmm.. the data is available but why the number is below average which is 10?' Eliah is thinking hard in his mind. He had confirmed again that the data is real but wondering why the value is too low.
If the average is 10 why the second person value is lower than average. For the homeless person to have low number is explainable since this might be due to his bad quality life that causes his body to become weak. But normal looking person like him is having lower value too and only having slightly better value than the homeless person.
'Might be the person did not practice healthy lifestyle' Eliah try to give some excuse to himself to satisfied his curiosity.
He finds details for other person and found that they are having better value which are not much different from the average value of 10. Now his curiosity is answered since most of the people that his observe are having value around 10 and only some abnormalities with much lower value and this lower value people is most of them consists of person with some disabilities which can be seen in naked eyes such as limping leg or moving around on wheelchair.
But not even one person he encounters with value much higher than average. Maybe its not common to encounter them or maybe this type of person is not someone you can easily encounter is public as they might be become successful in their life that they are enjoying their life in some luxury place and not in some random sidewalks especially on this area which looks like somewhere in small place.
'Haisshh….all this thinking just make me wonder what the hell is happening to me and where the hell is actually this place. I just remembering that some thugs smack my head and make me lost conscious.'
'That fucking thugs must be the hired by the company to chase me out from the company dorm. Such rotten place.'
'Let me check what was available in my pocket. Hmm nothing. Thank god my wallet is still available but no money in it'
"Excuse me sir. May I know where is this place. It looks like I am lost" Eliah asking to some random guys. He avoids to approach girls since he can feel that his appearance is quite messy even though he did not see himself in the mirror yet. He did not want to bring and problem and thinking that guys might be open when being approach by some messy strangers.
"Oh…here is Road 12, Maziam City. Where are you going sir?" the man replied politely and offer his help to guide.
Eliah know that Maziam city is quite far from his previous place which is Ramm City. Both city are quite far and will take around 8 hours of driving to connect to both city.
"Oh. Okay Maziam city then. It looks like I am in the right place. Many thanks, I will just stay around since I am waiting for someone here" Eliah replied and give some excuse to end the conversations as he currently he did not have any plan and did not want bring any suspicion.
The man walks away after heard Eliah replied without any hesitations as he find Eliah answer is a normal situations.
'I am in Maziam city and now I am in urgent need of money and food to survive in this place. I can sleep anywhere as long it is safe.'
'Before that with this new ability, I need to think what advantage it bring to me immediately and in long term. Better think for short term now since I will have more time to plan for longer term.'
'Let me check if I can view the details for myself.' Eliah close his eyes and thinking to make the details for himself is appear.

'Wow. I got some bad ass skill which I can absorb stat from other to use for me. But the cooldown is very long. It means I can use this skill once for every week.' Eliah quite surprise with the information appear in this mind for himself.
He can see that his stat is low compare to average due to his bad quality life. However, his intelligence is higher than normal and this the not come as surprise since he is able to obtain scholarship in his studies and landing a job with big company after graduations before he lost everything in the bad investment. However, his value for stamina is very low and this might be the reason why he always easily lost his breath when do some sport when he is in college. Does not matter how active he is, he will always lose his breath after few minutes in sport activity and this situation did not improve. He had sought doctor advise but no clear answer given and eventually he give up in his sport activity.
To improve his body immediately he will need to get some free stat from other. He did not want to absorb stat from other person since this might bring detrimental effect to them as they will lose their stat and he will feel guilty for this. Therefore, Eliah decide to absorb stat from animal or some scum rather than from normal civilian.
'I need to find my target as soon as possible to bring advantage and make me easier to get money and food.' Eliah thinking and try to look for his target.
He walking around the place to look for animal to absorb their stat. He try to focus on some high stat creature to maximise his profit.
After nearly one hour of walking, he still did not able to find good target.
Suddenly he saw a group of people are gathering and some yelling are heard from his standing. Due to curiosity, Eliah are approaching to this groups and he can see more people are moving to the group.
Once he reached, he can see that 2 men are being bound with rope and from the around conversations, he manages to know that both this guy are snatch thief and was caught after try to snatch one girl bag. The girls manage to delay the thief which give ample time for others to arrive and giving assistance to caught them.

Both thief having stat much higher than him and it was good opportunity for him to test his skill.
Eliah coming closer to the thief and pretend to look on their face like try to identify them.
"Sorry, please let me go through guys. I need to check something on them" Eliah spoke loudly to ensure other give him space in order for him to close with the thief.
Eliah hand touching one of the back on the second thief which having better stat and look in their face closely. At the same time, he initiates the skill by wish it in his mind like the same method when he tries to make the stat information appear/disappear from his sight.
Eliah can feel that little bit tired on his mind and from this he knows that the skill has been successfully initiated and he had absorbed the thief stat. He can see that the thief looks more fatigue and weakening but there is no clear affect can be detected. Maybe because they are bound by the rope and their face is already look pale because of fear, hence their fatigue face is not detected by others.
Or the situations are chaos enough that the different look on the thief goes undetected by the people around as they more concern to yell and curse the thief.
"Okay guys. Wrong person. I did not recognize this guys" Eliah spoke and giving him some perfect excuses to move away from there as he want to check the result of his skill.
Once he move away and find a secluded spot, he sit down and take his time to look in his details:
