'Where am I' Looking around I see nothing but an endless void staring at the endless void I thought to myself 'Am I in the underworld? I thought to myself If I was really in the underworld. Staying put in in this void I asking myself how did everything lead to this. Trying to remember the events before I died and the events that lead me to join that 'goddess'.
Trying to remember the I felt a sharp pain forcing me to stop. I can't remember even when I try to I feel pain. That bitch of a goddess definitely did something to me preventing me from accessing my past.
I sighed and just stayed here waiting to count my time in this void until I remember. I shut my eyes to rest when suddenly. A blinding light appeared in the void. The blinding light then took the form of a human.
???: Konnichiwa desu!!! Shouted by the figure of light while forming a V shape with his fingers on its face. I stared at the figure slightly cringing from its action.
???: Seems like I got a reaction out of you nice. Said the figure pulling a thumbs up. Looking at the figure I asked.
Luminous: Are you the god of the underworld? In response to my question the figure wag its finger
???: No no no no no I am not the god of the underworld. I am far better than that do you understand?
Luminous: Are you the devil then? I asked tilting my head. As I asked that the figure of light looked offended.
???: No! How can I be something like that I looked far to good looking to be compared to him. The figure stated with pride.
Hearing this I narrowed my eyes. Seeing me do this the figure waved his hand and fake cough.
???: *Cough* *Cough* enough talking about my perfect looks let me explain to you the situation shall we. Hearing this I paid close attention to what he was about to say.
???: Firstly allow me to introduce myself I am the god of everything YOLO! As the figure states its name it posed pointing its finger to the sky.
Luminous: Yolo? I didn't think that someone who calls themselves a god would have such a name. Questioning him for the odd name.
Yolo: Of course its not my true name I might be full of myself but I'm not too much of an attention seeker to give my true name to everyone I meet.
Luminous: You have a point but back to what I wanted ask is are going to punish me? I asked the 'god'
The figure put its finger on its chin looking to be deep in its thoughts. After 'thinking' for a while it answered with a simple.
Yolo: No
Luminous looked at the 'god' question why.
Luminous: Why am I not getting punished? I asked the 'god' who explained its reason.
Yolo: Simple you entertain me. Narrowing my eyes at its answer.
Luminous: Does the slaughtering of people entertaining you. Does seeing me ruin lives appealing you. Or does my every actions give you euphoria? I asked for confirmation from the 'god'
Yolo: No I didn't enjoy those scene what entertained me though are the parts where you screw over that egomaniac.
Luminous: Are you referring to the bitch I used to serve?
Yolo: Thats right. Giving me a thumbs up to tell me I got it right.
Yolo: Anyways back to the main topic I am not punishing you because you entertained me and screw her over.
Luminous: That doesn't fix the main problem I killed many people who were innocent and I am being forgiven just for entertaining you. Don't give me that. I clicked my tongue at the reasoning of this god who enjoyed watching me.
Yolo: hmmm do you really believe that? The god asked confused I asked what he means by that.
Yolo: I am simply curious if you truly believe that you were in control when in the act. I got more confused from what he said. It continues by stating.
Yolo: Did your body move as you willed? Did you ever feel your body move when doing it? Or do you simply thought you did it? My confusion grew more and more the more he talks. It then asks me if I can remember the details of his slaughtering. Hearing what it said I try to remember the events but when I try to I felt immeasurable pain in my head. Seeing this the god simply shakes its head.
Yolo: You poor soul looks like she crossed the line this time with you. The pain lessened allowing me to question what did she do to me. What did that bitch do to me. I questioned myself I asked the god if he knows. He nodded then explains that she placed a spell on my mind allowing her to control my actions without me finding out to further ensured this by removing both my memories of my pass and emotions so it doesn't hinder my actions and her control on me. Hearing this for the first time in a long time I truly felt enraged. Not only did that bitch control me making me do her dirty work against my will but she also removed my emotions and erasing my memories making me unable to care about the innocents I killed or remembering the events properly or my morals. Pure unrestrained hatred well up inside me I look at the god.
Luminous: If you truly are the god of everything can you grant me a request? I asked the god who looked at me like it already knows what my request is the god shakes its head.
Yolo: I already know what you will request but I won't grant it.
The god said. I looked at the god judging if it was nothing more than a faker. The god shook its head
Yolo: I suggest you throw away your thoughts about getting revenge because you are no longer allowed in that world. The god explained in a calm carefree manner.
Luminous: Why can't I go back? Please explain to me Why I am no longer allowed in that world? I asked for confirmation from the god.
Yolo: Simple the deity on that world you royally screwed over used her authority to banned you from entering her world again.
I mentally clicked my tongue finding out I can't return and get my vengeance. Sighing I looked at the 'god'.
Luminous: So what am I suppose to do now. Asked the 'god' who looked like it was waiting for this question.
Yolo: Simple I am going punish you. The 'god' I looked at him confused.
Luminous: Didn't you say you weren't gonna punish me.
Yolo: I was but I change my mind. I looked at the god with a dumbfounded expression. It might truly be the devil.
Yolo: Hey! Like I said don't compare with ugly maggie. The 'god' shouted. A deep sigh escaped me. Gathering my thoughts I asked the 'god' what my punishment was it looked at me and begins to explain.
Yolo: Ok for your punishment I will be tasking you with the mission of completing the story of a world I got invested In watching which became a mess due to the actions of minor creation and destruction gods which resulted in the worlds story turning into an absolute mess caused by their petty actions against their creations.
Hearing this I asked the 'god' what exactly does It mean by complete the story?
Yolo: Simply put I want you to complete the story by making an epilogue for the world. Thinking for a bit I asked the 'god' how exactly am I suppose to do that. A smile showed from its 'face?'
Yolo: Simple I will have you be reborn in that world so you can complete it. Hearing this I stared at the 'god' with a complicated look
Luminous: So you mean to say that to complete this story that your invested in. I will be reborn in that world to create an epilogue? The 'god' nodded in confirmation. *Sigh* I sighed and looked straight at the 'god'.
Luminous: Can I refuse the task. I asked the 'god' who shook its head.
Yolo: Nope you really don't have a choice. After all if I gave you a choice this wouldn't be a punishment now would it. I clicked my tongue at its words but calming done I can't complain I will accept this punishment. I took a deep breath.
Luminous: I accept the task. At my words the 'god' clapped its 'hands' rapidly seemingly overjoyed.
Yolo: Wonderful! now that you have accepted let me first tell you about the world you will be reincarnated in. Clearing its throat the 'god' then explains to me the world I will be soon reborn in.
Yolo: Ok firstly the world I will be sending you to is called remnant like the name the lands and people are divided not just in land but also in people and status. Discrimination is quite common in the world. Not exactly any different from your previous world but instead of discrimiating skin color they instead discriminate animal features.
And also if you are wondering yes different cultures are still being discriminated. Hearing this I sighed. Seems like some things are always prominent even in different worlds.
Yolo: Also this world is filled with monsters called grimm which are creatures fuelled by negative emotion. Which hunts and kill humans.
There are also people called huntsman and huntress who defend and kill these creatures. And sometimes each other.
And this is the most important part for me almost. everyones. Weapon. Is. A... Gun! Isn't that cool!
I looked at the 'god' with a blank expression.
Luminous: *Sigh* anything else?
Yolo: Yes a lot but too much so that explaining all of it will take forever. So I'll just do this *snap*. Snapping its fingers. Information suddenly starts pouring in my mind.
Yolo: I will be giving you everything you need to know about the story of the world. To the powers and the 'characters' important to the story and also the minor ones and their adventures. Also I will be giving you all the knowledge of weaponry not only in this world but also in others. as well as the skills to create them.
Yolo: Ok then have you incorporated all the knowledge in your mind yet? I nodded but still feeling a slight migraine after the info dump.
Yolo: Also before I send you to the world to be reborn I will let you decide what 4 powers you wish to have.
Luminous: 4 powers? I asked what are the limitations. For example what kind of power can I have or can't have.
Yolo: Well for starters it can't be anything that's beyond the worlds understanding otherwise you will break the balance. Secondly it needs to be powered by the energy specific of that world. And lastly you can't pick a power or technique that abides by another world laws. Unless you create a substitute with that worlds laws then its doable understood? Hearing this I took a minute to understand everything the 'god' said.
Understanding the limitation and with the knowledge given to me I start to think of what kind of power I want and need.
After a considerable amount of time I have finally decided the powers I will choose. I looked at the 'god' who looked at me with eyes filled with anticipation.
Luminous: I have decided the powers I want. The 'god' clapped in excitement at my words
Yolo: Finally that took a while. So what are the powers you want?
Luminous: First I want the ability to control the temperature around me beyond the extreme levels. Secondly I want the ability to heal almost all injuries including severed limbs and scars. Third I want the ability to teleport to anyone or any location I set a mark on. And lastly I want the ability to see the souls of others.
Yolo: Mmmm interesting choices I can understand the first, second and third one. But can you kindly explains why do you want to see the souls of others?
Luminous: I chose it to see through their very being, their intentions, their lies, and their sins so that I can make proper the judgement and in making 'proper' actions.
Yolo: mmmmm very well. Oh yeah before you go let me give you gifts for accepting the task. Gifts? didn't I already go. Looking at my slight change in expression the 'god' said.
Yolo: I know your thinking that I'm giving you more than you can chew. But you can't refuse its a punishment. Punishment this 'god' is just using punishment as an excuse.
Luminous: Fine what are these gifts of yours? 'The god' put on a 'smile'
Yolo: I will be giving you 2 gifts. First one will be a pocket dimension only you can access to put stuff in or pull things out. Hearing this I can't help but accept it. It will be useful for me in the future.
Yolo: And for the second gift let me first say this. You will probably be happy with this gift but will also kinda, maybe, probably hate it. Huh? What does it mean by that? I asked what it means.
Yolo: I will explain but first the second gift. The second gift Is the restoration of your emotions. Hearing what it said my eyes widen. It can restore my memories. So I will finally have them back. I can't help but smile a little. But the gods next words made me slightly lose my smile.
Yolo: Don't get too slightly happy let me finish. I will restore your emotions but they will be slightly suppressed. Which means you don't minor feelings much. But strong emotions like affection or fear are an exception. It explained, seing that it won't affect I calmed down.
Yolo: Don't feel too happy those emotions I am restoring won't last long. Hearing this I glared at him.
Luminous: Explain now. I asked the 'god' who just 'smiled'.
Yolo: I am restoring your emotions to blend in and have fun. But when you face a situation you think you can't handle. Your emotions will disappear clearing your mind of any meaningless thoughts and making it easier to make a plan or solution to the problem. It Explained to me the reason. I narrowed my vision continuing to glare at the 'god'
Luminous: Why would I need that explain. I asked continuing to glare at it.
Yolo: Emotions can be a blessing that allows you to feel and treasure the bonds and feelings you share with others you care about. But they can also be a hindrance preventing you from making necessary actions or making the correct judgement. The 'god' explained.
Yolo: Do you understand? The 'God' asked me. I realizing what it said was correct I nodded.
Yolo: Hey don't look too down you can decide when you want to go into that state. But it is still automatic when in certain situations. Hearing my mood improve a little.
Yolo: Excellent now thats done. Are you ready?
Luminous: Yes. I nodded
Yolo: Oh one more thing you will have another power. Another one? I thought to myself. Really this 'god' I sighed.
Yolo: Don't look at me that way I won't be giving it to you. In fact you will be inheriting it from your new parents. Hearing this I asked who are my parents.
Yolo: Sorry don't want to ruin the suprise. Now that everything is prepared. I hope you give me a good show *snap*. Snapping its fingers light soon covered the void. As I feel my being sleep. I wondered to myself what the future in this world holds.
