1 Chapter 0: Prologue

In a field filled with swords and flames and devoid any life, stands a man with sharp features, short black raven like hair with bangs reaching his eyebrows, deep blood red eyes devoid of any emotion, wearing a black cloak reaching his knees with silver embroidery in the end and a black long sleeve underneath, black leather pants, black gloves with a sliver cross in the middle, and boots armored with silver plating, holding a curved one edged long sword enveloped in scorching flames.
The man stands there as if waiting for something to arrive. The man stands there patiently waiting when suddenly he notices a group of knight like people marching to his direction.
???: "You're trail of bodies end here!" Shouted a man wearing silver armor with gold trimmings, behind him individuals wearing the same armor can be seen.
???: "So they finally sent the paladins to take care of me huh?" Said the man in black to the armor wearing man.
Paladin:" Luminous The Sword of dawn by order of our goddess and the council you are to be executed for the crime of treason to the cause of the people and our goddess! The paladin declared it to the man in black named luminous.
Luminous:"Treason? Kindly remind me what kind of treason I commited"
As I said that A man stepped forward the man had strong facial features, Blue crystal eyes, and Golden long hair. wearing the same armor as the other paladins but with a gold cross in the middle of his chest piece, golden lion eagle heads on his shoulders and a red cape with gold trimmings on his back giving him the look of a leader or hero.
Luminous: Alexander? So your leading them this time huh? Luminous asked unamused with the situation.
The man called alexander then pulled up a piece of paper and stated
Alexander: Luminous you are charged for the act of going against the will of our goddess, the slaughter of our brethren and the assassination of council members. For your crimes you will be executed here in the name of our goddess! Alexander stated to Luminous.
Luminous: I see you are still blindly following the hand that feeds you huh Alexander. I said to him slightly taunting him.
Alexander: What do you mean by that? Alexander questioned luminous on the meaning of his words.
Luminous: Explaining it to you people is pointless. Luminous stated to Alexander who looks slightly offended.
Alexander: Luminous before you are executed here tell me why, why did you betray our goddess who saved us and gave us salvation after we were thrown away and abandoned tell me Luminous why!? He asked with anger in his voice.
Luminous: I've had enough. Luminous simply stated
Being dumbfounded Alexander asked
Alexander: What do you mean you've had enough?
Looking at alexander luminous stated with a deadpan expression.
Luminous: It's as I said I've had enough, enough of deluding myself with lies and foolish beliefs enough of the pointless slaughtering to satisfy those bastards of people and finally enough of blindly following that bitch of a 'goddess' of ours every wish. As luminous finished explaining his reason alexander roared and him with fury.
Alexander: LUMINOUS!!! HOW DARE YOU CALL OUR GODDESS SUCH A THING!!!
Luminous looked at the enraged alexander and simply said.
Luminous: I dare insult her for I despise her very being and that 'goddess' of ours is nothing more than an egotistical manipulator who caused nothing but suffering she deems as a toy. Don't you see alexander she caused our to make us a dog to her will we are nothing more than disposable tools for her to use to get what she wants.
Alexander: Enough! by the orders of our goddess you will be executed here! He Roared raising his shield and wielding a war silver war hammer with light giving ruins he ordered his men to prepare for combat. The paladins readied themselves preparing to face their opponents.
Luminous sighed looking at alexander and the paladins behind him preparing themselves for combat he thought to himself 'what a bunch of blind fools' he raised his sword pointing it to the paladins making them hesitant.
Luminous: The paladins are no longer a match for me you do realize that dont you alexander?
Alexander: Dont underestimate us luminous we have been given the blessings of our goddess to finally end your treachery. Alexander stated as he prepared himself.
The paladins readied themselves as well for the attack but what happened next shocked and confused them. Luminous stood there and sheath his sword in his scabbard this act of his even confused alexander.
Luminous looked at the paladins confused expression as they stayed there trying to understand his action they slightly lowered their guard. What they don't know was that he was gathering energy in his sword condensing the energy and increasing the heat around the blade luminous eyes became darker taking a stance preparing to unleash the attack.
Alexander notice the change around Luminous when he saw him take a stance and his eyes becoming darker he shouted for his men to raise their guard they followed his orders and raised their guards but unfortunately some were a bit too slow. Luminous unsheath his sword and slash in horizontally at the paladins. Alexander and some other paladins manage to defend themselves against Luminouses attack, unfortunately for Alexander almost half of his men weren't able to raise their guard fast enough were immediately killed in one motion. Alexander immediately ordered his men to attack. The paladins at the very back began charging some long range attack while the paladins in the front draw their swords and raised their shields and charged at Luminous.
(Prepare for an amateur fightscene)
Luminous gets into a fighting stance ready to counter back. A paladin charges at Luminous swing his sword downwards towards him, Luminous dodges by moving to the side and slashing towards the paladins arms severing them the paladin screams and kneels in pain luminous gets ready to kill the paladin but was stop by another paladin swinging his sword towards him, blocking the strike and retaliating by slashing his stomach the paladin kneeled bleeding, in one swift motion luminous decapitated the two. Another paladin ran to him swinging his sword horizontally trying to slash him, Luminous dodges the sword by ducking under the sword then countered by severing the his legs the making the paladin to the ground luminous prepares to finish him off. Suddenly alexander soon rushed to Luminous raising his shield dashing in extreme speed to him intent on bashing his shield against him, luminous tried to move out of the way but was grabbed by the leg by the paladin in the ground unable to dodge luminous uses his sword to block the shield bash.
The force behind the shield bash pushes Luminous back, trying to balance himself after the attack, luminous was then struck by an energy blast knocking him further back. Landing, luminous immediately balanced himself preparing another attack but stop when a barrage of energy blast were heading in his direction. Condensing energy around his sword making it sharper he dashes forward hacking away the energy blast. Dashing forward 4 paladins try to pincer him 2 charge at him with shields and spears while the other 2 assisst them from a distance pelting him with projectiles. He increased his speed dashing at the two with shields. Closing the distance when the two paladins try to bash him, luminous slid through the gab in their charge he slashed horizontally close to the ground severing the two charging paladins feet. Immediately he was soon bombarded by multiple blasts without hesitation he used the two paladins as meat shields taking the blasts the two died immediately.
As alexander watched luminous use his men as meat shields he clicked his. He then charged at luminous swinging his warhammer at him.
Luminous seeing alexander charge at him threw the dead paladins at him. Alexander smash away the bodies and swung his hammer at him, luminous dodged and countered swinging his sword trying to slash at him. But alexander blocked the slash and charge attempting to bash him again but luminous moved out of the charge and slashed at alexanders back but was blocked by alexanders warhammer moving away from alexander luminous struck alexander with an energy blast aimed for his eyes it hit its mark temporarily blinding him luminous then charged at alexander preparing to strike him but stopped on his track when he was bombarded with energy blasts.
Luminous dodged and looked at the paladins launching energy blasts at him
Luminous: How annoying
As he said that he dashed at the long range paladins at the distanced. The paladins at the distance began to fire rapidly at him. Luminous gathered energy around him and condensed it around his body protecting him from the weak bombardment. As luminous got closer to them he gathered energy in his sword increasing the heat and intensity of the energy gathering.
Alexander recovered his sight he scanned around him trying to find luminous. As alexander was scanning the area he noticed the shift in energy in the area looking to his left he saw the energy gathering around luminous intensify and flaring up. Alexander immediately knew what luminous was about to do he shouted at his men to focus all their energy to defend themselves immediately.
Unfortunately for alexander his men weren't able to hear him as they continued to attack.Luminous finished charging his attack as flames flared from his sword he unleashed his sword at the paladins. As if time slowed down the only thing the paladins witness was a vortex of flames charging at them. As the flames got closer as they witness the vortex approaching them devouring them The flames raged on burning everything in its path and leaving behind a scorched trail.
As the flames disappeared revealing luminous surrounded by burnt bodies.
walking across a the scorched field luminous walked towards alexander who is glaring at him with eyes filled with untamed rage.
Luminous: Is this really all those blessings amount to? Disappointing. Luminous said to alexander in a mocking tone.
Alexanders expression shows his unimaginable rage as his face turned red and bulging veins pop around his forehead.
Alexander: You're a monster! I will not let you get away with this you hear me!
Alexander declared at luminous with rage. As he raise his hammer and shield preparing to fight.
Luminous looked at alexander as some kind of Rambling beast. He raise his sword pointing it to alexander.
Luminous: Your life ends here. He said to alexander getting on a stance readying to strike.
*Boom* Alexander charged at luminous raising his shield to bash him, luminous dodged by dashing to the side, seeing this alexander swung his shield to the side right at luminous who block it with his sword, alexander then swung his warhammer upwards hitting luminous's sword knocking him upwards. Luminous repositioned himself in the air swinging his sword towards alexanders face who moved his head back dodging the sword. Luminous then fired an energy blast towarda him who blocked the blast using his shield. Alexander then rushed at him preparing another hammer strike. Luminous lands preparing to block the hammer. Alexander drop his hammer down on luminous who blocks it slightly tilting his sword downward redirecting the hammer towards the ground taking this opening maneuvering around alexanders hammer he slashed towards alexanders arm holding the shield severing it.
Alexander screamed in agony forcing luminous back by swing his hammer towards. Luminous blast alexander with condensed energy slashes to his legs. Alexander kneeled due to the injuries his legs making him unable to stand. Alexander glared at luminous who just stood there with a indifferent expression looking at him as nothing more than a bug.
Luminous walked to the now kneeling alexander sword in hand. Now before the kneeling alexander luminous raised his sword and asked.
Luminous: Do you have any last words.
Alexander glared at luminous then nodded at his question.
Luminous: speak them. As luminous said those words alexander breath in and out. Before uttering
Alexander: As I have sinned by the failure of the completion of the task you bestowed upon me I plead to you my goddess as I pray for the power to fullfill your wish I pay with my will for I devote everything for you. As those words left alexanders mouth luminous slashes down. Before his sword came into contact with alexanders neck light exploded from his body forcing him back. Alexanders body is soon embraced by light changing his body. As the light dissipate a figure radiating pure energy can be seen standing there. He had long blonde with emitting light. Golden eyes. And wearing a golden armor with wings made of pure energy behind him. Luminous looked at alexander and clicked his tongue.
Luminous: So you threw away your will for her huh? you fool.
Alexander did not respond he slowly lifts raise his warhammer
Noticing the change alexander took luminous gets into a defensive stance noticing the change in alexander he knows how dangerous he is right. Standing there he readies himself for an incoming attack. *BOOM!!!*
As an explosion rung out as an object can be seen flying in the air.
*Drip* *Drip* 'Guh!' grabbing his arm to lessen the bleeding luminous looked at alexander.
Alexander: Luminous our goddess have bestowed upon me this power to complete her wish and that wish will finally be fullfilled when you take your last breath. Alexander stated while looking at the state Luminous is in.
Luminous: You really are a dog for that goddess of yours. Steadying himself up reaching to his sword and gripping it preparing his next move.
Alexander looked at luminous who is preparing to attack and just stood there not putting up his defences at all awaiting the attack.
Luminous seeing that alexander is letting him attack. He begins charging his strongest attack. As a large amount of energy gather around and compressed on his sword condensing it making hit sharper increasing the intensity of the as flames flare up luminous increase the intensity further condensing the flame on his sword. Preparing for the strongest slash he has ever used. He takes his stance preparing to unleash its full power.
Alexander stayed still watching as luminous charge. When he took his stance he readied himself for the attack.
Luminous unleashed his most powerful attack 'Dawn' at alexander. A slash containing everything energy luminous was unleashed towards alexander. Hitting its mark the impact created a shock wave devastating the surrounding area realising dust cloads everywhere.
Luminous: *Huff* *Huff* *huff*. Exhausting his energy luminous pants while looking at the direction of his slash.
As the smoke dissipates alexander stands there with a burning slash mark on his chest. Seeing this luminous can't help but curse at the results.
Alexander begins walking towards the exhausted luminous stopping infront of him.
Alexander: Any last words before you die? Alexander asked looking down on luminous.
Luminous nodded he looked straight at alexanders face and said his final words.
Luminous: Go suck your goddess tits.
Alexander looked irritated at his words lifting his warhammer.
Looking at alexander raising his warhammer. Luminous can't help but mentally curse at his situation. As alexander dropped his warhammer on him he did not look away he faced his demise.
*Boom!* as the sound of a heavy object crashing and the sound of something being crushed and splat resounded in the area. Alexander looked at the remains of a crushed body on the ground he mutters to himself.
Alexander: It is done. Resting the warhammer on his shoulder he chants something manifesting flames on his palm. Alexander used the flames to burn the body to make sure the deed is done. Ones the body burned he turns his back wanting to return to his goddess. As he walks away he mutters 'Your wish is fullfilled'.

Hello there author here I want to say that this is my first ever attempt at writing. There may have been alot of mistakes and unnecessary details in this I am new to this so please tell me what I did wrong so I can improve.
