9 Chapter 9 : Autobiography

"Ever since I was young Devan was there, until one day he just disappeared. I Try to find him, but I couldn't. Until I asked my mother and--- She told me that he moved away.

Why would he leave? Did I do something wrong? I was just a kid, but I had a lot of emotions. So I just cried for days". Yuna tells them.

" Yuna I saw something last night ". Yuna turned around looking at Jun puzzled. "It was me and Cole we were in the forest going to the lake near my house, we heard someone crying. Cole do you remember". Jun begins.

" Oh yeah! It was right before Devan and....got banished". Cole says sadly. Jun looks at Cole so did Devan, but I just shrug it off.

"Banished for what?". Yuna looked at Devan trying to figure out what was going on, but Devan didn't spare a glance.

" We saw you crying and we went to help you". Cole said putting a hand on Yunas shoulders.

"It was you guys that helped me. Why didn't you tell me? Why did Devan get punished?". Yuna finished.

"You really don't remember. Do you? " Jun asked. Yuna shakes her head no and pouted. "Well~

"I'll tell her myself". Devan said and everyone turns to look at him.

" Alright... Whatever". Jun says sipping on his cup.

"You were crying because some kids made fun of your eyes. I tried to call you down, but you ran away, I tried to find you for hours but I couldn't. When I turn back to go home you were laughing with them". Devan stopped and looks at Cole and Jun.

" You remember that Jun. when we took Yuna home and she kept crying because she ran away from her friend. So to make her happy you tried the chicken dance because it always worked on Holly". Cole says knowing not to bring Holly name up. it'll make Jun angry, but it's Cole we're talking about.

"Please--- do remind me Cole...please". Jun said sarcastically.

" Whose Holly"? Yuna asked without hesitation.

"Her...we don't talk about her anymore". Jun said while picking up a glass of water, the second time so he didn't have to continue the conversation.

" Hello! i'm not done". Devan said trying to get everyone's attention. "Yes continue". Yuna said.

"I was angry, I tried to find you for hours, but there you were laughing not even bothering to ask where I was...". Jun looks at Devan with evil eyes.

" That's the reason you got jealous and cursed her for the rest of her life". Yuna looked up at Devan in shock, trying to figure out what was just said.

"What curse are you talking about? I wasn't jealous I was mad". Devan says trying to explain, his side of the story.

Meanwhile, Yuna in the other hand was surprised the person she got close to, did this to her. She didn't believe it at first, but it all made sense. She didn't notice when tears started to fall down her eyes.

"Why are you crying?". Devan asked while holding her hand.

"Clueless ass". Cole says sipping on his tea, Devan glares at him. "Here comes more drama". Cole whispers. Smirking to himself.

" You... You did this to me". Yuna says and pulled her hands away harshly.

"I would never curse you. I would never". Devan relentlessly says. His eyes looked red and glossy. Nobody knows if its just an act.

" Then who did it? Who made her this way? Who is giving her all this pain Devan "? Jun yelled at devan pulling Yuna away from him.

Devan founds it hard to answer those questions. The truth is he never cursed Yuna, it was his father. But how do you explain that when your father is though to be dead. Devan had to answer anyway, or Yuna would never trust him again.

"My father.... ". Devan knelled down towards Yuna. Not caring what the others think he just wants his baby back. Everyone was quiet no words and shocked.

" Why would I believe anything you say"? Jun says while smirking down at him. Smiling at his victory.

"Who are you trying to fool---his dead"? Cole says. Getting up from where he has sitting.

" Hahaha... Dead that motherfuckers alive. He made me look like a demon". Yuna finally looked down at him.

"Continue..." Yuna says.

" After I saw you laughing I got depressed and went home. When I got home I cried to my father and I told him everything. My father never really liked me being around you. He would always punish me for it. My father made a plan to take power and kill the chief but it wasn't successful so he cursed Yuna, because Yuna would be the next---", he stops. that's not his secret to tell.

"He told me he wouldn't put a hand on her, but the next morning I found a note. It said "Son i'll be gone for a while and you will take all the blame, but you will be okay. you are much stronger then them". Everyone started to call me a monster, I got banished ". Devan finished. How pathetic is that? He thinks. I wasn't the only one that got banished that day. That day was very gloomy.

" Wow! Devan how long did it take for you to make that up". Jun said holding in a laugh. Yuna didn't say a word... Yuna hugs Jun tightly like she was trying to remember something.

Flashback

"Hi, little girl. I won't hurt you ". A man in black said to her.

"W-what do you want?". She stuttered not because she was scared of the man, but because she was cold and lost.

"I just want one thing from you". He walks closer to her.

" W-what is it t-that you want". The man steps a little closer and she steps back tripping backward. Wincing at the pain.

"I want your powers". He says.

"W-why? I don't have any powers"

"I need it, little girl you have no idea how much power you have". He was getting closer to the poor girl. Until he was sitting right in front of her. Yuna look down at the ground.

"Look at me kid or-"

She takes some dirt from the ground with her small hand and throws it on the man's face. He groans and tears fell out of his eyes. She quickly got up and ran away.

The man saw this and smirk.

" you will be forever cursed until you give me what's mine". She stops and listens but she didn't care. Curses only happen In movies *right.

"Yuna your crying again. What did you see? " Jun asked still hugging her.

"H-he---d-didn't---". She Stutters to embarrassed to look at devan for not trusting him.

"He didn't what?". Jun ask confused. "H-he---didn't do anything w-wrong ". Crying even harder. "None sense". Coles says slamming his hand on the table. Cole remembers that day so vividly, because he also lost someone on that day.

" Hey, Yuna come, Dow-

"No! Leave me alone". She held her head up with her hands. Bring the knees to her stomach.

"Yuna~

" I-i---t-told you, I told you I hurt---everyone that stays n-next to me. I told that if you become to close I will get attached. Look what happen I hurt Devans feelings and he probably hates me now.

I hurt you---I hurt my parents...It's these fucking eyes.---". She walks to the kitchen and grabs a knife pointing it close to her eyes.

" Yuna stop---It's not your fault---". Devan said walking closer to her.

"Plus it's really not necessarily". Coles says, but received a glare from Devan and Jun. " What? It's a little dramatic don't you think". He says in a whispered voice.

" It's not fucking your fault Yuna--- Shit put the knife down ". Jun screams he doesn't want to lose Yuna he just. He loves her.

" Yuna, it's---". Without hesitation Devan quickly run and hugs Yuna. Yuna struggle to push him away when she gives up.

" Devan you don't hate me". Yuna said still sobbing.

"How could I hate you baby---" Yuna lets go of the knife and hugs Devan living wet Stan on his jacket.

"You're telling me that you didn't do it for real". Jun looks at Devan.

" Yes"! He's not making it up". Cole and Jun turns around and looks at Yuna.

" What do you mean he's not making it up?". Cole said confuse.

"I remember I was in my room. Then all of a sudden I saw a man he looked just like Devan. I also saw him in the forest that Day. He cast a spell on me then he disappeared into the dark".

The next morning I asked mom where to Devan was she said he moved away". I remember the whole thing. Yuna cup Devans face and kisses his forehead. Devan smiles at that.

"You're okay now I remember ". Both Cole and Jun looks at each other, they didn't say a thing for the rest of the day.

" Yuna i'm sorry. What he did was wrong and no one should do that kind of stuff to a sweet and kind person". Devan said to her letting go of the hug and looking at the two guys that are starring at him.

"Yuna I have a question to asked". Jun said out of nowhere, trying to light up the room.

" Go on ". She plainly says.

" If you had to pick between one of us which one would you pick"? Everyone stayed silence waiting for an answer from Yuna.

"What do you mean?" Yuna replied her face turning in the darkest shade of red.

" Between Devan and i ~

"Does anyone want popcorn "? Yuna interrupted. Yuna never thought about any of them that way. Yes, she did have some feeling for Jun, but after what happened she didn't think about it much.

" Me!--- I want some". Cole said not wanting the conversation to get weird. Yuna smiles and put her hand on Coles' shoulders walking away smiling.

If Yuna had to pick honestly she would pick Cole because his the only one she feels comfortable around and Cole is the only one that always supports her, not saying the others won't. but theirs something Yuna doesn't know. Something really important.

"So no movie night then". Devan asked awkwardly, but Jun was still waiting for an answer.

"If I had to pick I would pick---". Yuna turn around to answer the two boys that are now standing right next to each other. Looking at her confusedly, because Cole wasn't part of the debate. If their was even one.
