Neverending Company - Nathan - Chapter 1
Year – "10.523" - Interstellar Era
Nathan took a deep breath and entered the spaceship. He was happy that he finally managed to found himself a job in one of the best genetic and technological companies on the mars.
Neverending Company is a company that conducts experiments, research and cultivate test subjects for different kind of companies including governments, organizations and even terrorist, as long as they pay credits for it. They are slowly started working on mechanical research and products too.
Nathan is taken as a "Researcher" of Neverending Company, as a researcher, he will have some kind of authority in the company. The expertise of Nathan was energy production, dimensional understanding, and lastly Nigh-Science
The last expertise was the new expertise of Earth. Where it is discovered unknown but its effects and people who are capable of understanding it highly sought. Nathan also believes that he hired by Neverending Company because of his understanding of Nigh-Science
Ordinary science involves basic things such as physics, biology, and many other things. Nigh-Magic is different as the science created by using the knowledge of Nigh-Science is like magic. Many things could be produced from it. Even bypassing the rules of the universe and laws such as gravity law.
There are several kinds of positions in Neverending Company.
Researchers -
drawn from the ranks of the smartest and best-trained research scientists from around the world. With specialists in every field imaginable, from chemistry and botany to more esoteric or specialized fields such as theoretical physics and xenobiology, the goal of Neverending's research projects is to gain a better understanding of experiments and how they operate.
Security Guards — at Neverending facilities are tasked with maintaining physical and information security for Neverending projects, operations, and personnel. Primarily drawn and recruited from Interstellar military, law enforcement, and correctional facility personnel, security officers are trained in the use of all types of weapons as well as a variety of contingency plans covering both containment breach incidents as well as a hostile action. This personnel is also responsible for information security, such as making sure that sensitive documents are not misplaced and that a facility's computer systems are safe from outside intrusion. They are also often the first line of defense against hostile outside forces for Neverending facilities.
A product created by expert Night-Science Researchers or Scientists, capable of ignoring the laws of earth and many other things.
Nathan was a 30-year-old man, he did have some kind of experience but no plausible work. If not for his understanding of Nigh-Science, he would not have any kind of chance working with Neverending Company.
He was happy,
Within two hours, the travel was over, Nathan finally entered the Neverending Company. There are soldiers, scientist around of himself. After about twenty minutes, he came to a room.
In the room, there is only one person and it was a female at her age. She looked at him for about two seconds and started talking.
The room was simple, there is only two black metal chairs and a blue light radiating the room.
"Hello, Mr.Nathan, We looked at your past and your understanding of expertises. As you know we have sent you an invitation to work with us."
Nathan nodded and did not say anything.
The woman smiled and continued.
"So, as you know you will work as a researcher in the department of "Nigh-Science", and sometimes support other departments, Energy Production and Dimensional Understanding."
Nathan this time spoke.
"Yes, I believe so."
The woman did not say anything and left the room for about one minute before coming back with a guard. The guards of Neverending wore black clothes four white stars on the top of the pyramid as the logo of Neverending Company.
They hold and carry, I3 Type Laser Machine Guns, which is enough to destroy not only humans but even primordial creatures from the past of earth in just mere seconds.
After the woman came she started talking as she gave a card to Nathan.
"I am Alicia, the manager of Energy Production and Nigh-Science Departments, this is your card and this is Nolan, your appointed guard, beware not talking with him about your experiments or research as you will be killed if you do that so."
Nathan gulped and took his card. As he touched the card, in his mind some kind of personal information panel manifested. Only he can see it not others.
